Piu - Indra

This video was made using municipal lidar data of the island of Kauai. A storm and lightning motif was explored through the creation of audio-reactive light bursts in the pointcloud that are reminiscent of lightning striking in clouds at a distance.
The point location manipulation is generative and evokes a sense of driving wind or choppy waves, it gradually switches between these states with intensity modulated by audio levels. The software that was utilized for the creation of this video is #touchdesigner
