- Keith and Jesse back at the bench! In this video we take our identical scx24 deadbolts, and make them even better. We are installing bugger motors, giving them axel extension, and converting them over to a 1/24 scale Toyota truck body. We hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for more great RC builds!

When people start to make there own motor plates it opens a world of motors. that's what I did how many dual motor scx24 do you see how many surpass 24s do see I like to be different.its nice to see a build that didn't have the same thing as everyone else

They look great! How did you use the styrene to mount it though? I see where you used velcro on the back to mount it. This definitely gave me some ideas to make my yota build better
Just a small plate between rear frame rails and another CA glued to inside of body mounts

Great video , I like the look of the Toyota. My grandkids love these scx24 crawlers. I have to admit I am too loving the 1/24th scale over the 1/10th scale . The mods are endless. I bought the furitek brushless system with the tegu ESC for all 5 of our scx24's . The torque and control is at a totally different level . I put a 1946 dodge power wagon body on my C10 and it looks amazing. I believe there is definitely a market for more bodies . Right now there is not a lot of options that the average Joe could pick up and put on . This hobby will only grow .
Yes! Such awesome little trucks we can get enough of them!! Furitek has sure changed the micro game up for us with that awesome power and control in their ESCs check out Iceberg rc for more body choices!

Great builds! Thinking of doing an FJ Cruiser hardbody. I will say though, once you put some detail into the Jeep body, it can look as good or better than a hardbody kit. I’m on my third Jeep build.. lol. Check em out!

Yep winter season is coming in that’s when we go full out on the micro crawlers on our indoor course we are going to add a second level to that soon so we can get a lot more filming done in there
@@ProNoobRC fuckin sweet man. I'm really getting some inspiration from that truck. I went the kyosho route and wish I hadn't lol. There isn't even half the amount of after market for them and most of the good stuff is gonna come from China.

Great video… you guys are funny… why didn’t you use styrene bonder to put the body together, or a dremel to open the wheel wells?… (dremel on the wheel wells works quickly and accurately)

Hey just curious but why the custom mount to flip the PN motor? Is it just for more front end weight or would it be in the way in it's normal orientation?
It would have to hang off the side like other motor plates place it and makes trucks poor for control and tippy to one side

Just a heads up, The Tacoma didn't exist till 95. Before that they were called the hilux.

Check model stores that aren’t online or eBay auctions. I happen to find some That were the Baywatch edition 1/20 AMT

Yes but shoot for 1/20 scale as 1/24 is far to small and you will have to shorten the wheelbase or extended the body. We are gonna do a video using a 1/24 Cherokee Chief body we extended to fit and you can see the challenges there
