Hi, Ted Danson's nephew, here-his sister's son, to be clear. It would not be accurate to say that my Grandfather / Ted's Father was the Chief Researcher of the Museum of Northern Arizona. He was a scientist, and he did do research. But almost all of that was when he was a student. He became a professor, first at the University of Colorado Boulder, then at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He did do some research then. But after that he became Director of the Museum of Northern Arizona, his primary works was in administration. True, his knowledge of science and deep aesthetic sense made him a great leader of both aspects of the Museum. (I'm obviously biased.) He knew science. He knew art. And he had great charisma. All of those helped him lead the Museum and kept its various aspects well run. Do you want to know more about Ted's Father? The Museum published a biography of him. When we went and saw the house there was no fence and the lady that lived there actually came out and talked to us and she said she has lived in that house sense the 1970s . I hear people say she is mean , she was very nice to my wife and I !

They had to have known that the house was used for a TV show then people get super angry when people stop and see if I owned a home that was featured in a film or TV show. The Norvel Owens Funeral Home on route 66 was the MEXICAN STEAKHOUSE, original interior location for the scene when Christie Brinkley sees Clark at the piano bar. My parents and I would stay at Little America, go out to our property with view of San Francisco Peaks and then have dinner at the MEXICAN STEAKHOUSE and my dad would tip the piano player to dedicate a song to my mom. Love the Ted Danson history. Mary Steenburgen's daughter-in-law is Lily Collins, Phil Collin's (Genesis) daughter. Safe travels!

Great vlog Jordan. Hello handsome Jahster. Helpful hint zjordan. I live in WI and from May until late Sept we have flues, gnats, bay flies, and mosquitos galore. Our vehicle windshields are constantly dirty due to bugs. We keep a gallon of window wash in our vehicle with a shallow cake pan and a window cleaning wand with the sponge and squeegy on it. That way we can clean our windshield at any time we need to. That way we never have to worry about a gas station being near to clean them or a gas station not having window washing buckets and wands.
Tucumcari....That's the town that "Lee Van Cleef" forced the train to stop so he can unload his horse down a ramp, in the beginning of the film "For a Few Dollars More."

Loved cheers. After it became popular a friend of mine opened a bar in 83 maybe 84 and named it Cheer's. It was on TV Thursday nights and he'd put it on the big screen. There'd be 200 to 300 people in there every Thursday night to watch. We had a blast. Drinking jiggers of Kamikaze. Oh to go back!

Very fascinating history with the Apache death cave, and the fake ruins around it set up by "Harry Indian Miller" to lure tourists in. Then Harry had his own problems later on, and that's a fascinating story too.....

In fairness tho, I’ll bet it would be invasive to have people looking in your windows and such . I can't help but wonder why the owners of the Walter White house don't embrace the notoriety. They could open their own gift shop, give house tours, make LOTS of money. Instead they're hostile and unwelcoming. I mean, I get it, it's their home, but they are sitting on a gold mine. Turn it into a tourist destination and live in a different residence.
Would your life be any less without a Walter White headstone? Now contrast that with the families that requested it be removed from the cematary where their REAL deceased loved ones are.

I can't help but wonder why the owners of the Walter White house don't embrace the notoriety. They could open their own gift shop, give house tours, make LOTS of money. Instead they're hostile and unwelcoming. I mean, I get it, it's their home, but they are sitting on a gold mine. Turn it into a tourist destination and live in a different residence.
