The McDonald's museum was really cool! Its nice that they made it free and advertise that they allow cameras. Plus they really have a lot of neat stuff! Thank you.
Jah is such a diva. I just love him!!❤ I remember as a kid, McDonalds had such good food and now it's gone downhill. Thank you for sharing these fun travels with us!
🥰 Right at the end of the video Mr Magoo. I loved watching Mr. Magoo when I was as a kid. Great video Jordan, Route 66 is very exciting. Thank you. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
Once again Jordan, you gave us a real treat. I had no idea that McDonald's museum existed. What is more American than McDonald's? Thank you for your interesting and educational videos. In addition to being one of the nicest, coolest guys out there, your knowledge of, and celebration of, American popular culture is very impressive. Say hi to your trusty sidekick, Jah!
I 💯 agree with you Jordan when you said that you feel the quality of McDonald’s food now isn’t very good. Yeah I noticed that myself. Honestly thought I was the ONLY one. Ate McDonald’s for the first time in a few years and I was shocked at the low quality of the meat. I really want to see that original McDonald’s and that museum in person one day. It’s on my bucket list. Great video 😊
@redlady8296 I agree, nothing is a good as it used to be and yet they make you pay 3-4 times what it’s worth. I remember when we used to make a lot of things in the US instead importing things from other countries. I have a refrigerator in my basement that we’ve had for over 30 years and it’s still running. Meanwhile, I’ve replaced the refrigerator in my kitchen three times.
Growing up McDonald's was a treat! My earliest memory was stopping at the McDs at 40th and Dodge here in Omaha with my grandma, she didn't drive so we walked everywhere with my stroller. I remember cherry pies and French fries. This was probably 1972. Before kids meals I think. Its been a few years but I went for the breakfast biscuits and hash browns, I like mcmuffins with sausage but they always burn the muffin. I also like mcnuggets and French fries and I like their mccafe coffee. I have not been a fan of the burgers, I go elsewhere. Culvers usually. Popeyes has the best version of the fried cinnamon apple pies. Still would love to have a fried McDs cherry pie. Love this Loved Eddie Van Halen. Panama.
The Abbott brothers grew up the same exact way, they also lived at home well into their career, and then finally bought houses later on, RIP, Eddie Van Halen, Vinnie, Paul, and dime bag
Love Rt. 66...Flagstaff is not far from where I live off the I-40! Winslow has the famous "Standing on the Corner" with a statue of Glenn Frey. Great memories of all the stops you made. Thank you Jordan!
My husband worked at our local McDinalds in the 1980's. He even got to meet the original Ronald McDonald. He can still sing the Nobody can do it song and his Ronald McDonald alarm clock still works. He even has the Big Mac windbreakers that looked like a big mac when in their zipper bags.
Great vlog , Jordan and Jah! Thank you for getting out of the car so I don’t have to!! Lol! I didn’t know you’re a Royals fan! Awesome. Safe travels and a good night’s sleep to you and Jahster !
OH JAH YOUR CUTE!!!!Thanks Jordan for doing this on Route 66. The First McDonalds turned into a museum!!! Then the UFO STOP. THE KINGMEN,AZ MUSEUM FANTASTIC!! THE FACADE TOWN, ALL THE THINGS IN THERE JUST WONDERFUL!!! WOW LOVE THE LITTLE HOLLYWOOD MOTEL!
Rest in peace Eddie. Great to see his house. Love the McDonalds Museum and all the things they have inside. Love Mr. D's Diner. Nice they let you visit before they closed. Can't wait to see what you show us next. Stay safe and take care.
Awww Jah looks so comfortable, not a care in the world ❤️ I love Van Halen, I went to see them in concert with Foreigner so long ago, I think it was late 70s or early 80s, at The Forum in Inglewood. I still have my ticket stub somewhere. I think I like Van Halens second album a little more than their first. How cool that you got to meet and talk to Eddie Van Halen. And I do agree with you that McDonald's is not like it used to be. Interesting McDonald's museum, love seeing all that vintage stuff. My daughter had a whole container full of Happy meal toys, and I don't know what happened to them. We recently went to McDonald's across the street from Disneyland, and the food was pretty good there for some reason. Loved that museum in Kingman ❤️ my husband says he would like to go there. Funny, one night we drove through Kingman on our way to Tucson and we were so tired we were looking for a place to stay for the night, but because they were having a motorcycle convention that weekend, there was nothing available. But one place, it was so run-down that the towel bar in the bathroom was kept together with tape 😂 and the door did not lock, needless to say I didn't get any sleep that night 😳 Sad to see you leave California. 😢
Hi Jordan and Jah.👍✌👋🙂. Cool and Interesting. Thanks for taking us along. Jah just chilling.😎. We just Love and Appreciate your Vlogs. You Guys take care, have a little fun along the way.👌. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita and family. 🙂✌🖖🕯🦋🌠🌻💕🤗🙂👋👣😁.
I remember the first Happy Meals in the 70s. The prizes were great back then. I also entered a Ronald McDonald coloring contest. I was one of the monthly winners. They gave me a Ronald McDonald wrist watch. 😊
Love it when you do the road trips I’m from down under Australia and the places you visit are very interesting..I will never get the chance to visit your country and this is a great way to do it.. Happy travels!
Haha the Electric Sllide! “It’s Electric”! Woohoo. I’ve never done it but I have so much fun watching people do it lol This was a nice video. A mix of a few things. I loved that you stopped by Eddie’s house. I grew up in tayt era and I have listened to their music of course, who hasn’t?? But never owned any of it. I’m going to make a play list of just them and listen to all their songs for Eddie. ♥️ Now the other places were so fun. Loved the 1st McDonald’s. Saw The Founder and felt really bad for them. It was so col to see all the old toys and stuff. Very nostalgic! The woman “alien/robot” was funny to see start moving and THEN hear start talking! Oh the museum…awesome! Then the motel!! OMG I want to stay there!! So fun!! Thanks so much for this video! I felt like I we t on my own trip! The best part, swing Jah! Keep on being you! 🦴🐾♥️
🥰😃👍🥳 What a cute house 🏡 I love that it is hidden in the garden💝. Would like to have such a cute house and then totally renovate it. Wish I had the money. 👍💝😂
I got so excited when you said Utah. When I was younger I did A LOT of traveling, I've been to every state and in terms of beauty, Utah is in the top 5. 5. Washington State 4. Wyoming (Even though I broke down there on 2 different occasions) 3. Utah 2. Vermont 1. Connecticut* *Sorry, home is where the heart is! Nothing beats the beauty of autumn in the North East. (Until it's time to get the leaves cleaned up!)
11:22 Looks like an early BEACH BOYS striped shirt that Murray Wilson probably made the group wear! 😆 (The shirt hanging inside the McDonalds 🍟 Museum.)
I live in Yuma. Thanks for stopping by AZ! I can imagine whoever owns EVH's original house thought about making it a museum but it's prob worth more if they rent it out/sold it....already a sub!
Agreed Jordan, it was a real treat when you were a kid when your parents took you to McDonald's! Good Memories. True it's not as good as it was , but still a once in a while stop to enjoy a hamburger and fries with a nice Coke!
Thanks for the fun ride along. I’ve been to Kingman a couple of times. Once to take the train to the Grand Canyon. If you’re in the town during tourist season. Go see the Wild West show which is really to get the train people organized. Great interaction with the audience by the guys who will “rob” train as it returns. Quirky! The train is almost painfully slow, but beats driving. There’s a package deal with staying overnight in various hotels in the Canyon and they bring your luggage to the room. There’s a rim buss tour, too.
Rt 66...we did it over a handful of different road trips, each ranging from a few nights to over a week. Highly recommend to anyone considering it...lots of fun, lots to see and learn. Get out there, folks!
I remember travelling in the 60s with my family from Toronto Canada down to Florida for vacations and of course we stayed in Holiday Inn‘s all the Way down which us kids loved. You had new best friends every night in the pool and my mom and dad would sit in the restaurants on the evenings and watch us in the pool and have dinner by themselves. But I remember going into the first McDonald’s and we couldn’t figure out what that special sauce was on the hamburgers. One day I heard my mother say to my father that we couldn’t afford to go to McDonald’s continually because it was costing us five dollars for a family of five and that was a lot of money then. How things have changed. That was before Disneyland even opened in Florida.
Glad to read you're doing Route 66 soon. I recall Needles CA being filmed for a Charlie Brown/Snoopy feature, and there is (was?) a skating rink there!
Somewhere in that kingman museum is a little train facade. It used to be at the Ramada in laughlin but me and the hubby rescued it from a dumpster and donated it to the museum.
I really loved the Electric Car Museum. Everyone forgets that it wasn't Elon Musk that invented it. They were working on prototypes for EVs since the 80s. And as far as I am concerned, overgrown or not, EVH house looks comforting. It reminds me of better days. I wonder if it would be okay if they put up a memorial somewhere for Eddie if there isn't one now.
would love to see the Red Rock area of AZ also the cliff dwellings oh gosh Needles was one of the high schools we played when my oldest brother was playing football
I was wondering Jordan if it would be possible to blog a video with Eddie’s ex Valerie and his son Wolfe and listen to their stories about Eddie Van Halen. I thought that would be great to listen to.
The McDonald's museum was really cool! Its nice that they made it free and advertise that they allow cameras. Plus they really have a lot of neat stuff! Thank you.
Thanks again for this Jordan 🫶 I remember when McDonalds first came to Canada 🇨🇦. I had my 1st Big Mac when I was 16. Almost 49 years ago….
Nice tribute to Eddie VanHalen!
I had a McDonald's mini restaurant playset. You could stack the yellow trays!
♥️these road trips. It’s awesome to see the preservation of memorabilia
Gotta ❤the retro
Ta Jordan and Jah ❤️🌻✌️🇦🇺
Jah is such a diva. I just love him!!❤ I remember as a kid, McDonalds had such good food and now it's gone downhill. Thank you for sharing these fun travels with us!
miss the old cooking oil that they made the fries in
Love little Jah! Another cool vlog Jordan. ~Love&Light♥️C.

😂🎉 I am vegetarian and can therefore recommend the veggie burgers. Also: The fries are still the most delicious. 🍟🥰☀️🥴💝

Jordan, I believe that at one time, the weatherman Willard Scott portrayed Ronald McDonald. Telling my age now…..lol
This is an amazing episode! What a tour! Van Halen, McDonald's, Area 51, Kingman. Great video!!

Thanks for the memories. The other "first" Mcdonald's in IL wasn't a museum but it was destroyed by a flood a few years ago.
Thanks for the video and another great adventure stay blessed!

Just avoid driving through Flagstaff in the winter. You can get snowed in for a day or two if they get a storm.
So true, I remember one time we drove through there and I was kind of surprised at the weather. I thought all of Arizona was hot all the time.
You and Jah are great!!!
On the road again enjoyed Jordan ,Jah keep safe
What a great video Jordan !!! Much love to you and Jah

You mentioned in video you got to talk to EVH everyday for 2 weeks how did that come about? Love your vids btw EVH forever ❤❤❤❤
Can't wait for the KC Royals vlog! Been waiting for someone to cover the Midwest, sorry you're having to skip Colorado.
Fifteen years ago, Michael Anthony told me the same story about that recording.
Yes, those imortal words, " Clarke, I think we list her somewhere near Flagstaff".
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.

I agree... ive stopped at Randy's grave several times. Heartbreaking
would love to see the Red Rock area of AZ also the cliff dwellings oh gosh Needles was one of the high schools we played when my oldest brother was playing football
Hi Jordan, what an absolutely beautiful drive. I haven't had a McDonald's in years and years. Not a fan of McDonald's. Great vlog Jordan.
Used to be
I like the McDonald's Museum and the Eddie Van Halen tribute
My kids had the McDonald's restaurant playset and I remember putting the play cheese slice on my ex husbands sandwich for his lunch at work 😅
Too funny!
Looks awesome for a phone!
18:01 Needles California is where Peanuts character Spike Snoopys brother lives.
What's his address?
nice video👌
Kauffman Stadium is awesome! Go Royals! Lived in KC 15 years.
Regis Philben had a gold card for McDonald's for his life for doing work for them in early ninetys...
Depending on what part of New Mexico you come through you're gonna pass right by me. I live in Raton.
I grew up 1 block away in 1975 , I was 10 years old and never new it.
That's pretty cool to know what was happening right in your backyard
And! There is still a McDs at 40th and Dodge! They built a new one on the property years ago. But it is still there!
I can’t wait for you to do root 66. Take your time and break it up into segments.
Sorry for the spelling I know how to spell route 66
Best rock bank ever. ❤😂
cool
Fun Fact :the first Ronald Macdonald was a Black Man👍.
Thanks Jordan .
JO JO IN VT 💞😅
the inside of area66 looked like nightmare fuel
Jordan have you done the Madonna Inn or the Hearst castle?
Both, multiple times
EVH is The GOAT 🤟
I was wondering Jordan if it would be possible to blog a video with Eddie’s ex Valerie and his son Wolfe and listen to their stories about Eddie Van Halen. I thought that would be great to listen to.
I used to love McDonald's pizza and McRib, I agree fries don't taste the same at all
Wish you come by Clines Corners New Mexico off of 40
I'm doing all of rt 66 slowly in June. I'll make sure I do
