I'm glad that you are exposing this filthy country to the world. People should be ashamed of themselves when they dispose of their garbage on every roadside. We the public are suffering this health hazard,also the environment is in danger of so much plastic pollution. People need educating and to stop being lazy with their dirty habits.

How you expect the country to be clean . Some people are just narrow minded. Just irresponsible, Gambia need to add love for country in there curriculum. They need to close all the gutters. If it is left open this will never stop.This is terrible 😮

If this was cleaned on a regular basis it wouldn't be such a big job. The edges of the roads need to be kept clean regularly as well otherwise the gutters will just be blocked up in no time again.

Abadji, It’s actually quite sad that people don’t respect their country ,if the government supplied waste bins all over the country and educate people to use them from school kids to adults it would make a huge difference both to the drainage and cleanliness of the country. I know that you can’t stop the sand but as I said yesterday a road sweeper would make a difference with the sand . It would be good if everyone was as concerned as yourself 👍

Those in power need to take notes from another small African country about cleanliness (RWANDA).
The Gambian government and the people do not have pride in their environment I'm sorry to say.
All this money spent on the OIC but no money for waste disposal and keeping the country clean. People coming from all over the world are faced with rubbish and dirt when walking along the street, it's embarrassing.
It requires a mindset change, unfortunately Gambia is very backward when it comes to everything that improves a nation. It starts with the youth in school because everyone else are too used to living in mess.

Bro cleaning the gutters is good BUT GETTING ALL THAT SAND OF THE SIDES OF THE ROADS IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT IAM TALKING BOUT THE SAND THATS BEEN ON TBE SIDE OF OUR ROADS THE MUNICIPALITY SHOULD BUY THOSE CARS THAT SWEEP ROADS YOU DONT NEED 20 people to be sweeping but just a couple cars to clean sweep the roads for kms
