I was the one that expressed sadness over you covering up the vintage piece. 😟 So, thank you for taking the time to explain why that works for you! As a crafter and collager myself, I have a different approach. When I want a beautiful piece to show up in the background, I will assess how much I want to show and then cut the rest off to use in another project. I actually think your approach is so much more in the flow and easier in the long run! I love how we are all so unique in our approach to making our creations. As a new subscriber I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos and your processes. Thank you again for sharing all of your amazing creations with us, and keeping me company while I set at my art table.✨️🌺🙋♀️
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I couldn't agree more about how wonderful it is that we are all so unique in our creative process. I will sometimes try to cut any excess off that will be hidden but that happens more of camera as I have more time to really take my time with a project and I am naturally quite a procrastinator when making decisions 😂. On camera I try not to overthink to much and just enjoy the creating. Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts.😊
Having one of your journals, and wanting a journal for memory keeping, I truly appreciate the extra writing space. I am so thrilled you are going to create for all the book chapter. This "simple" file folder is a journal folio all by itself. I may have to steal your idea for my journal? Thank you again for sharing your talent with us.
Thank you so much Dakotah, you are always so kind with your comments. I think of it as more simple because I didn't use all the usual things I normally do as I really wanted to make something the majority of people could replicate. Writing space is important to me so its normally something that I really think about when creating ephemera. 😊
@ I am also always looking to add more writing space on ephemera and on my journal pages. I especially like hidden journal spots. BTW-going off topic-do you have any metal allergies? Enquiring jewelry artists are curious.
Thank you so much Tracie. I love the CPI cases and the kits you create for them. Spooky mystery's with a historical aspect are honestly some of my favourite things to read, watch or create around so your CPI creation just hits all those buttons and gets me really excited . Thank you for all your creativity and hard work x😊
Hi Bel, I love the fact that you’ve got a shorthand book! Forty plus years ago I had a shorthand book in high school! So many memories! Love your amazing work! 🎄❄️🥰 Trish
Thank you. I have never learnt shorthand and looking through the book it almost looks like a Alien language, something out of Star Trek 😂. It was a great find though and I enjoy using it in projects😊
Love it!

This is a fantastic piece Bel! I love all of the writing space and the pockets and tucks. And I love how you cut the books to make tuck spots. 💜💜💜
Thank you, I love finding ways to add tucks or pockets, that's why my ephemera and journals get so chunky 😂
