- Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart sit down with New York Times theater reporter Patrick Healy - www.timestalks.com. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart return to Broadway for an exciting two-play repertory of Harold Pinter's "No Man's Land" and Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot." Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart also discuss their work in the "X-Men" films as the friends-turned-foes Magneto and Professor Xavier.
I love hearing them talk about Leontes and The Winter's Tale; it's just a marvellous play, structurally and orthographically. It's like singing, that language.
Ive had the grwat honor of meeting sir patric stewart. Hes such a nice & funny person
This series of videos is fantastic! This one struck a cord with me especially! I look up to these men, and to hear them speak about playing older characters in the collegiate setting is something I can relate to! I also played Leontes in college. Now I'm attempting to harness the work I have before me whilst negotiating my age AND reinventing myself. Hope to god I can make it to New York to see these plays! #PATSC
I'll just watch part 4, then I'll go to bed. Thank god its the weekend.
Smashing interview
8:00 or thereabouts...Good lord: my maternal grandmother kept house for Dame Peggy Ashcroft, in Bournemouth, and was a great companion to her. Had the Second World War not intervened she was going to accompany her on a round the world trip! It's been a long time since i last thought about that.
Hurrah!
Oh my gosh, Ian McKellen should play God. Orthodox Christianity would blow its top having a gay man as God. That would be beautiful.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a hard time believing that Sir Patrick has a "miserable bugger" inside of him?
