I played that guitar and it is AMAZING! It's a bit pricey but mark my words, it is worth it by all means. After I play, I went out for have a cigarette with a smile on my face.
Interesting debate, I like to read all of the comments so that I can under stand both sides of the coin. Keep it up brothers I am still reading. My question is should I change my signal coil pick ups from 250k 10% to 500k 10% on my master built 69 Strat Currently I have Stat Tex Special BRG CC, Strat fat 50 MID CC & 69 Strat CC. Would this configuration change the tone much on a Alder bass and a QTR sawn maple 69 U neck!
great sound w/plenty of treb. maybe a bit much, but i wouldn't want it any other way. i don't quite "see" the cap style for a t/b cerk...but it's a definite "sounder"
I've played one of these, the tone is stupidly crisp, and the look of it is straight up stunning.
the 69 custom shop strat pick-ups are sublime
Greg made me two really nice guitars in the 90's. If you are reading this, Greg, I worked at the gym in Anaheim.
