A stellar demo showing exactly what (in my personal opinion) a Stratocaster was designed to do and sound like. Great choice of amplifier and effects combinations as well. Whoever was responsible for hiring you at NORM'S hit the nail on the head! Well done.
Lemmo seems to always step it up with the Masterbuilt Strats. That second piece might be my favorite of his and is frequently rolling around in my brain - great GOTD episode! Thanks, guys!
You are going to have a hard time selling me on a vintage Strat. I just don't believe you can do better than a Custom Shop Strat like Lemmo is playing. It was very exciting designing my own guitar because I knew exactly what I wanted. A '57 just like Buddy Holly was pictured with that I drooled over when I was a kid. I made just a few mods you can't see as that guitar can't look any better in my book. Fender didn't let me down and exceeded my expectations. They made my dream a reality. I can see and feel the workmanship that went into it. It inspires me every time I play it. It does have mojo.
If you could, please tell me, what is the name of the second guitar piece! It is so beautiful! Thank you Michael and Jen for these awesome video’s! They are so cool! Peace!
I almost had a Jason Smith Masterbuilt Jazz bass but the dealer I ordered it from messed up and I walked away with my deposit. Hearing how sweet this Strat is has me wondering how nice that bass would have been.
Hi Michael, I know this isn’t a song ‘request’ channel…. But it would be great if you could play some of Robert Plants solo stuff eg Big Log or 29 Palms as I think they would suit your ‘playing testing’ routine?? BTW I love your playing. Cheers from the UK (currently on vacation in Vietnam)
One thing I hate about these demos is when I use the looper or ton of effects. we know that stuff always makes the guitar sound a little bit better. But if it sounds great, just naked and bare bones, it can only sound better.
Great playing, Michael! Love that guitar! I like that you threw that instrumental version of will you ever love me again in there….. and of course, GO BIRDS!!!
Great playing young man. Just out of curiosity, Norm wouldn’t happen to have a 94 or 95 Yamaha Pacifica 904 hanging around for a comparison? My understanding is that they were made for two years only to compete with Fender Custom Shop. As a life long Fender owner, starting out with a 64 Tele in 1964 and progressing over the years with multiple Strats, I was fortunate enough to acquire a mint 95 904(#51 of 500). Since acquiring it about ten years ago I have said goodbye to my Elite and Ultra Strats. Still have a 2010 Deluxe Ash Strat. To my ear the Pacifica comes the closest to the 60s era Strats I grew up with. Yet the Pacifica gets very little praise and are like hen’s teeth to find. Anyway it would be cool to hear you play one and give your thoughts. Cheers.
Not even Fender custom shop will verify nor condemned any old strat as they can not because Fender did not keep accurate records. Any info from the Fender factory or the Fender custom shop is hearsay and conjectures.
Great as usual but the WildWood nomenclature makes no sense to me. Old enough to recall the '60s versions, usually a semi type made from a dyed tree.. novelty act now. maybe this is, too. We just want a Strat!
Wildwood Guitars is a boutique store in the Boulder, Colorado area - Louisville. They commission instruments from Gibson, Fender, and other makers, to their own specs. Wildwood spec guitars tend to be outstanding - at least, to me and a plethora of musicians. I have a Wildwood spec Gibson Murphy Labs Les Paul R8 that was even finished by Tom Murphy. It's about as good as it gets, unless you're buying the 6-figure original.
Pretty much the best Lemmo demo ever.
That was some exquisite playing, Mike dude...kudos !
Lemmo I feel like your playing is at a really high level. I’ve been watching these vids for years now, you are all over it mate.

Dreamy Stratocaster. Love the chocolate brown of Brazilian rosewood.
Lemmo seems to always step it up with the Masterbuilt Strats. That second piece might be my favorite of his and is frequently rolling around in my brain - great GOTD episode! Thanks, guys!
I have a Firemist gold Vintera Roadworn 60's Strat which I love so therefore I love this guitar Lemmo! Thank you Jen for capturing these moments!
Your music is so melodic, beautiful.
Masterbuilt. Master played.
That is best sounding strat I’ve ever heard. An amazing demo from Lemo.
That really does sound like an exceptional Strat. It looks like it has a nice, low, easy action as well.
Transitional w/ Brazilian on a flamed to death neck. A Wildwood Strat doesn’t exist but now the world needs one.
That guitar sounds SUPER SWEET. What great tone!
Super cool sound love this effect. A beautiful guitar no doubt and as always amazing playing just awesome 👏🎸👍

Great feel and dynamics Michael!
😎🇨🇦
Stratosphere Yes!
E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles 🦅 Fly Eagles Fly🦅
Sensisivity in chords ,in your playing, your great Mr Lemmo....
Apart from being a master builder Jason is also a super nice and cool guy!
Looks like the Strat Terry Kath played at Tanglewood in 1970. Rest in peace, Terry Kath.
That version of wind cry’s Mary made the hairs on your arm stand up!
Kudos to Lemmo. Thats your best work yet mate.
Doesn't matter what he plays It's going to sound he it just that good
i just f'ckin love Michael's feel on these electrics
Happy birthday Strat! Beauty! Sounds as good as it looks 😊
Nice to hear Stratosphere again. Great tune, of my favorite of Lemmo's
I loved the clean playing. Been playing clean a lot lately.
Goodbye everyone, take care.
If you could, please tell me, what is the name of the second guitar piece! It is so beautiful! Thank you Michael and Jen for these awesome video’s! They are so cool! Peace!
It’s from Michael’s blue comet album. The song is called will you ever love me again. Great tune!
Wow is right Jen...
Beautiful
The guitars are always cool... but I actually come for the playing. I could listen to an entire record of that np. Outstanding.
What is that second tune Michael plays? I hear it every now and then on the demos.
Love open tuner pegs , so easy !
Excellent
Middle pickup and out come the LEMMO TONES
tasty playing!
What was the second song Lemmo played?
I almost had a Jason Smith Masterbuilt Jazz bass but the dealer I ordered it from messed up and I walked away with my deposit. Hearing how sweet this Strat is has me wondering how nice that bass would have been.
Fantastic 🤘🤘
So, where did you get your Fender Degree? Fender University?

THAT is one COOL guitar and Lemmo is always da man making us all want sum!
what was the 2nd song he played?
Really nice guitar.
But the playing is was makes my imagination just float away.
And that happens when I hear some really good music.
One thing I hate about these demos is when I use the looper or ton of effects. we know that stuff always makes the guitar sound a little bit better. But if it sounds great, just naked and bare bones, it can only sound better.
That guitar is not on the website
There's no doubt Michael is a great guitarist. But sometimes I would just like to hear the guitar. Without all the Pedals
Always DRENCHED in echo.
petals?
Looper Lemmo strikes again! Gorgeous guitar, that tone shows why Wildwood specs are easily worth the premium.
Go Birds.
damn.
EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!
Dude’s a god
Dig, you and that ax sound sweet.
That’s not typically a Strat color I would pick but the craftsmanship of this guitar is nuts. Great playing as always.
Oof nice Strat 🎸😈👍
That would be awesome if you would start listing the price in your videos!
If you need to see it, you cant afford it.
jason just got 200 orders
Great playing, Michael! Love that guitar! I like that you threw that instrumental version of will you ever love me again in there….. and of course, GO BIRDS!!!
Wonder if it has period correct u shape neck?

Michael certainly getting some Mojo out of that beauty. He is a Top Shelf Guitarist!
👍🏻👍🏻✌❤😎
He plays better the longer his hair gets. Lol. Dam hippie.
Jamming out with the future of rock, Saxon‼️
Oops wrong video 😂
Bring back Brandon please - all of the specs, great playing and no "pooper looper"!
Not even Fender custom shop will verify nor condemned any old strat as they can not because Fender did not keep accurate records. Any info from the Fender factory or the Fender custom shop is hearsay and conjectures.
I didn`t see or hear anything I didn`t love.
Odd color, but this Strat has a nice sound. Michael Lemmo always plays great! 👏👏👏👏
So, No one notices lack of reissues post 1962 being not slab board; they do not know how to do it.
Great as usual but the WildWood nomenclature makes no sense to me.

We just want a Strat!

@@turdoirishman You might want to add Colorado, so that folks aren't thinking Kentucky? 🙂
