How to add ANY NFC Card to Apple Wallet (NOT!)

This video is here to show the truth about NFC cards and Apple Wallet. As of now in 2024 with iOS 17 or 18 Beta, it is NOT possible to add an NFC card to Apple Wallet. Only credit cards can be added by the card issuers app.

Thanks! you just saved me a lot of frustration and time. I watched a couple of videos and was left scratching my head trying to copy what they were saying. Do you know if the next version of IOS changes this restriction? I've heard it does open up NFC a bit.

Thanks for posting this. There is a lot of misinformation on RUclips. I bought an iPhone 15 pro a month ago from Japan and was trying to add my door card but it does NOT work. Can you clarify what users CAN use your app? Will only European iPhones work with your app? What iPhones and where CAN people use your app?

With NFC.cool you can read and write NFC tags in various ways. The app does work worldwide with any modern iPhone and is not restricted to a region.

There is a hiccup with the sound around 50s. I’m saying that you can just add a credit card through the card issuers app.
