Thanks for posting this but it would be useful if you posted visual comments about the materials you're using like acrylic paints, clear coat, base paint types. I wouldn't have guess that a can of spraypaint would be a good idea on a guitar. m
I used to do that…. But there was always an issue with brands that weren’t available in different country’s. I use HOK solvent-paints or schmincke acrylics. Standard primer/fillers and for this guitar a standard Clearcoat spraycan… nowadays I use spraymax 2 component cans

Amazing work, I just got an airbrush set up for touching up finishes. I would like to try to do some actual renderings of something. I wonder why I mostly see mythical subjects being painted with airbrushes? How about a nice eagle or landscape?
Hi Gregg, iwata is always a good choice but they can be expensive. I would steer clear of the cheapest brands, although I airbrushed my car with a $20 airbrush when I started. For starters I would advise a good quality acrylic paint. And a decent airbrush. Go to a local store and have them advise you on that….
Are you still accepting clients? I have a small big baby Taylor. Took the pickguard off myself. Would love to get it professionally done, something simple nothing crazy.

i totaly agree, but the client wants mythical.... it's also because no-one
knows what a dragon looks like so it cannot go wrong... :-)

you can do that in all paints, for this one i used HOK.
