    I’ve gone back to basics the last 11 weeks counting calories. I’ve lost 13 lbs so far. I used to follow WW but I was up and down the scales for years.
    I’m disabled so limited in walking and currently on painkillers due to sciatica😢just started a little more exercise now that happened. I’m a Carer for hubby and daughter but they are looking after me! 🤣 walking on the spot I’ve been doing in intervals to keep my joints more active. Mornings are worse as you say.
    I plan a meal a day in advance if I didn’t I’d end up sending for a take out.
    We are all in this journey and Krista I can fully see you shrinking!
    Sorry to hear about your brother again. And eating on the run, absolutely understandable done it, wore the extra pounds😣

    I follow your booktube channel and just discovered this one this weekend. I am really enjoying it. I also suffer from lack of motivation. After this Friday, I have off for nine days for Thanksgiving. I am hoping I can get plenty of rest and an improved attitude. You said that your home meals were not the healthiest choices, but you saved money. Maybe each time you want to go to fast food and you eat at home instead you can put that money in a jar and when you reach one of your health goals you can treat yourself to something such as more books.

    I too had been struggling with my weight loss, partly due to my medications and partly due to my attitude. I was frustrated and kind of said whatever and didn’t always make the best choices. I’m a WW Lifetime member and they just modified the program to be very specifically designed for each person. I’m very happy with the changes and they seemed to be exactly what I needed. I’m back on track and am FINALLY down a pound! I’ve been on a Plateau for a long while. I’m glad your back to doing videos! It’ll be great to journey with you through the holidays. I’m nervous about this time of year. So many good things to eat and tempt me.

      Congrats on being a lifetime member of WW. That's a program I've never done, but have seen friends see great results from. Yeah, the holidays are hard. I'm not being very successful right now and they're just getting started!

    So sorry your brother had to go back in the hospital. That is a win that you did not run through a drive through! I am looking for the small changes. I have started my diet back and my goal this week is to jot down whatever it is I eat. I am trying to stick to a diet type healthy eating, but if I don't I still want to write it down. So strange to think if I just move I will feel better, but it is the truth. Congratulations on completing that exercise challenge...that is so impressive! You did so good with it! I hope you have a great week!

      Small changes can add up to big change. We got this! How is the writing things down going? I have a really hard time sticking with that.

    Yay for recognizing that exercise helps w/ your mood, your body, and mind set! I need to get moving. Today I have a goal of walking for 20 minutes. I have been doing good w/ eating 75% of the time.. the weekends seem to be the hardest. So this weekend I might have 1 splurge meal but not one on each day!

      Food is always the hardest part for me. I love exercising and can find that motivation much easier than eating healthy for my body. It's a work in progress.

    I am glad your brother is back home, and that you are trying to make better eating choices, btw...chicken chili is not bad you have a good protein choice and fiber from the beans and its just yummy! You are so inspiring, Thank you! I am going to try to be more upbeat today, had a bit of a meltdown the other night...Here's to a good week! 😊

      Yeah, chicken chili isn't too bad, but of course I have to add cheese, chips and greek yogurt! haha. I ended up putting some in the freezer because I just made too much! Sorry you had a rough night the other night. Hoping you can bust through that!

    White chicken chili sounds delicious! I've been thinking about making it since the weather has chilled, but I made split pea instead. Great job on your inch and weight loss and keeping active. Since starting I've noticed I'm much pickier about what I choose to put in my body. Some days I'm not willing to eat certain things and I might splurge on the weekend instead. But it's only one thing, not the whole weekend. Today it's super cold and I splurged on a hot chocolate. I've heard some people say, instead of thinking of each day, think of each meal as a new starting point. It's so good to see your progress!

      I have splurged on a hot cocoa every day this weekend. I need to work on limiting those! haha. I like that each meal is a fresh start to make good choices.

    Hi Krista! I love the day by day goal. My healthy dish for today is a veggie mixture of kale, bok choy, asparagus and peas. I love mixing various veggies and sautéing them all together. A little olive oil salt and pepper and you are good to go. It’s a great side and you can add a scrambled egg the next day for breakfast. Win win. I hope everyone has a great week!

      That sounds great. I haven't cooked with most of those greens before. I did just add spinach to my eggs this morning though.

    I think you are doing very well considering the challenges you have had. And a slow weight loss is supposed to be easier to maintain - I have to remind myself of that all the time lol. Good luck with your healthy choices this week!
