How to make a Wet Martini Cocktail
It is time perhaps that we tackle that quintessential cocktail, the Martini. This drink originated in the late 1800's, and quickly became one of the standards, alongside the Manhattan. The pre-prohibition Martini however was different from what you might expect today in many ways, and frankly it was a lot better for it.

I’ve been drinking Martinis since I was 18 (18 was legal back then) and it’s the first time I’ve seen Orange bitters used to make this classic cocktail. It actually makes a lot of sense with sweet vermouth.
Yep
From what we have read, orange bitters show up in the dry martini early on in it's existence, probably around 1910 or so.

Patrick,
Definitely a vintage piece. Robert loves to collect mixing glasses and bar tools. This is surely and Ebay or antique store find.

Interesting drink; I'll have to have another one tomorrow.
Awesome mixing glass...vintage piece?
Orange bitters seems to be prevalent in many martinis, when did orange bitters start appearing in martinis
Why not shake it
Drinkable cocktail. Nothing special.
