Okay....that hurt. That hurt when he called her mom.

I lost it when Seres said: “thats not your name...” because she never got to see her child or to even hold him before they died.
It was sad to know about their past, but it just made their present all the more sweeter. i mean look at Phi when he confront his feelings.
The story is about getting revenge and stuff and they are seen as bad guys but damn their lives were quite tragic.
It is yet so heartbreaking, but still so beautiful. At least Phi had a chance to live again.
There's a grave in Aball for Celica and Phi with a phrase written on it along the lines of "This little soul will fly high on the sky on his own wings". Can't remember the exact phrase but given the ending of the game, Artorius was right. Laphicet flew high indeed.
The sorcerer's ring. I love these little tales callbacks.

Jay Lewis but Zestiria didn’t have a sorcerer’s ring. Because Sorey had his Seraphim friends to lend him their powers and some of their powers are similar to the sorcerer’s ring. And for some reason, I think another Tales of game also lacks a sorcerer’s ring. Not it’s not in every Tales games.
@@spottedtime I want to say Eternia doesn't have the Sorcerer's Ring, but I don't remember.
also I think Graces and the Xillia games lack it as well

How do you access this sidequest?
When you get to the end of the game, before the final dungeon. A ton of side quest get unlocked for you to do, other then that I don't think there is any requirement.
I just found out how,
"You need to go to Titania and see the skit with everyone wondering where the exorcists went. If you don't do that, Morgrim won't spawn. You do not have to fight Phoenix indeed. The reason is because you end up teleported to Titania at the end of the quest, so you need to have unlocked ship travel there before starting the quest."

is just me, or does Celica look like the spitting image of Lailah?
Paul Jordan u must be mostly referring to her hair, being red at the top then becoming whiter and whiter i assume
Officially they merely designed Seres to look like Lailah, except without the paper weapon.
There's a theory that Seres wasn't just Celica but also had the soul of the legendary Brunhilt, the Malak that tethered to Seigfried, the first Oracle. Note that Seres was selected especifically to complete the "Sorceress RIng ,Brunhilt" and Brunhilt is hinted to have been the original "Lady of the Lake". The theory is that Seres' essence once again resurrected but this time as Lailah. It would also explain why Lailah is so close to Maotelus (Celica's son after resurrecting as a malak) and why Lailah's Oath was related to Maotelus himself, especifically to keep silent about Maotelus himself and his past.
Then again this is just a theory and Namco hasn't confirmed Lailah's backstory at all (unlike the rest of Berseria's cast,like Rokurou who was confirmed to die in battle after constantly fighting Daemons).

Who is showing the earthen historia if innominat is no longer connected to the land? (the quest only opens up after he left the earthpuls)
Velvet released celicas/seres soul when they broke out of the earthpuls , she even said afterwards that oscar and teresa are the only souls she has left and that she is short one soul.
So seres/celica is still inside it by the end of the game,
Who fishes her out of it by the end i wonder :P
Lailah has her facial features, movement, even her hand gesture, pun loving and motherly personality, heck even the haircut even if not the color and lenght is the same.
Lailah also was born as a deciple/aid of/from maotelus so i think phi made himself a mother without her former memories because as he just said knowing too much is scary

Seres also has the same skills as Lailah and Seres would want to redeem herself greatly for aiding a failed shepherd, so it makes absolute sense for Lailah to be a descendant of Seres one way or another. However, I do believe Velvet needed the souls of praetor + people which is why she needed a third since she only had oscar and theresa. The other alternative is that she absorbed Seres' power and could therefore not use it to send out into the earthpulse. I mean, she's got plenty of souls in there after all the devouring of exorcists etc so it was already odd that she said she only had 2. So despite the theory sounding nice, I think it goes wrong in that tiny way. Seres is gone and rests within Velvet/Brunhilts ring. Velvet is "alive" at the end of the game so Lailah must have her power from Brunhilts ring or it was given to her by Maotelus who may have found a likeliness in Lailah to his mother and therefore elected her to carry that power.
Does Phi know Arthur his father?
not really his father as he was reborn with a new soul he is different persona not his unborn child
@@blackchase6732 he wasnt reborn laphi died that is just a reincarnated version of celica and Arthur's unborn child so technically Arthur is his father

why are most tales of berseria videos are not i. Jpn dub?
The english dub is pretty good so most people won't really play with the Jpn dub. Or upload I guess.
yeah the dub is pretty good and spot on in this game hope this continues for future titles too.
Dub is probably more popular, for good reason
the english dub is good imo ,really different with zesteria dub
because we're not all weeaboos
I don't know why but still prefer Eizen's Japanese voice.
