The thing is, none of the other party members actually care for Magilou's antics to begin with. So while she's trying her hardest to make her show good, the others are just kind of like "fuck it". I found these quite funny in that she's always being the non-serious, "I don't really care either way" comic relief in the group, kind of taking jabs at anyone whenever she can, and here we have the rest of them not taking her seriously now. That's what I took away from these skits, anyways. I personally thought it showed the group dynamic off quite well.
None of them are compatible. Stage fright or no, Velvet has zero sense of humor. Eleanor overanalyzes everything. Laphicet shouldn't explain the jokes. Eizen is more into old school comedy. And Rokurou keeps stepping on her lines.
Me: Let me try. Ahem. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are the happy comedy duo, "Magi and Me." SHAZAM! Magi: (Is he trying to steal my spotlight? And what's with "Shazam"? It's a comedy show not a magic show!) Me: And now for the joke of the day: I met a guy with five horns on his head. I said to him, "How does your hat fit?", and he says, "Like a glove!" Magi: HEY! You're stealing my spotlight! Me: Well then somebody from the audience call a cop because it's got to be a crime to be this funny! Magi: GGRRRRRRRRR! I can't work like this!
Yeah they are awful. all of them truly awful. Comedy is like being cute, its not something you can force to get the crowd to admire you, if anything it helps turns them against you. That's why you gotta be yourself and things play out naturally. Then when its sincere, that's when its funny/cute.
I think that just makes this more funny. Everyone is being themselves and Magilou is trying to force the comedy by making them follow the script, of course that didn't work. Basically she can't stop everyone from being who they are and it doesn't mesh well with that she wants to do but I think that just adds to the skits.
No one:
The crowd: Eizen's funny but he's scary QwQ
Eizen: 👁️👄👁️

Are you sure? Eizen looked like he tried. I actually laughed out loud when he said magikazam.
Laphicet too tries his best... he's just a bit too earnest about it. And not very experienced with comedy.
I liked Eizen's clock imitation the best.

I, on the other hand, would steal her spotlight.
I actually thought that Eizen was funny. Especially his clock imitation
Telling a girl to "don't be such a girl" makes no sense what's so ever. I feel so bad for Velvet knowing that she has stage fright
If Magilou wanted to get the crowd to love the act she should do a strip tease...by lifting 1 book at a time.
I find it absolutely adorable that a badass daemon killer like Velvet has stage fright. Really humanizes her
Eleanor & Magilou = best girls
2:58 what making a joke in 2017 is like
Poor Magilou, guess no one can cooperate with her lol
X'D Rokurou and Eizen are the best
Magikazam!
