Did you consider putting the metal plates on the back so they aren't seen or was that for the design you wanted. What about pocket screws as well to have seamless joints.
My original plan was to only have the plates on the back but the ones I got were too weak by themselves, so I had to put plates on the front as well. Pocket screws could work as well.
I didn't use a jig for this one. I probably had them all cut in the time it would have taken me to figure out a jig! You can though. There's some simple ones (even just tracing the opposite end of the first one you cut right after it's cut on your miter wings).
You could probably just make the back web the same as the front web. If it gets too wiggly you could run some 1/8” thick flat metal bar along the bottom to connect across.
What is the measurment for the bottom board
It was about 2’6” if I remember right

Did you have a jig for cutting all the boards the same length and angle? I am starting a project like this so any insight is welcome.

Use Gold or silver plates, not black
Any suggestions on how to make feet of this arch so that people can walk through it?
