I'm having trouble removing the smaller trim pieces on the driver and passenger side. How on earth did you get these off? The clips just won't let go Never mind I got it but there were some black clips I was unaware of that broke on the driver side. Also nothing pops out easily

Kid Ard hey! Unfortunately RSX tend to have power lock problems after a while. I got the rear hatch actuator (which is all you need, just the Actuator) from amazon. hey man. question, because I can't tell if it's the actuator or not (also, my driver side actuator hasn't worked in over a year.)... so, for the hatch, when I unlock the door, I hear the hatch want to unlock, but it doesn't. I can hear the mechanism try to unlock, but a second or two later, it locks and won't open. So, is that likely a faulty actuator, or something maybe caught in the mechanism?... once in a blue moon, I can get it to unlock
Thats a broke actuator, same as this video only on the door. My car also has this problem. I bought the actuator a while back but still haven't swapped it out lol
I’m having issues with my RSX and my trunk is stuck now and I have tried everything to get the damn thing open to take the panels off to get to the lock actuator.
Have you tried switching your actuator manually? You can move the white latch to the other side and try to open from the outside. Sometime mine gets stuck as well. Usually a couple of taps on the Acura emblem in the hatch do the trick
Yes I do for some reason it won’t come open. I’m not sure if there is something down in is causing to stuck. I know that the hatchback had a broken glass.

9 times out of 10.. its the actuator

So I just installed the new oem actuator but it still doesn’t open?
Does it happen when hitting the unlock on the keyfob as well as the door switch?
