      She was punished..She never ever had coitus with Suleiman again after this...She did went to Suleiman chamber but returned untouched ... Suleiman humiliated her privately by calling her ..Moreover during this time she was recovering from illness due to miscarriage...

      actually, in real history she WAS punished. she was forever exiled from the palace. and she never had the "khaseki" title, neither was she a real Hurrem`s rival. :)))
      and Hafsa valide actually liked Hurrem very much.
      and Ibrahim wasn`t Hurrem` enemy either, he just served the empire (and most probably, he was secretly in love with Hurrem! on his side).
      and actually Hurrem herself was MUCH more powerful than it`s shown here.
      so, everything that doesn`t match REAL hystory here, -
      it`s all just for drama, to keep us watching. :)))
      and what I personally don`t like is that this film praises Hurrem on the one hand, but at the same time it sort of humiliates and belittles her. - that`s very unfair and it`s already wrongly influenced the minds of too many people, who started to hate Hurrem.

      @@svetlankam8223 In fact it seems that she was never beaten up by Mahidevran. A lot of historians said that includign who supported Hurrem ( even if she wanted to beat Hurrem it would be impossible with eunuchs and kalfas in every corridor). It's probably more a legend just like the legend of Cihangir who die of sadness because of Mustafa death when they weren't close at all ( Cihangir was close instead of Mehmed, Mihrimah and Selim)
      And the show diabolize all womens when in fact they were all clever and quiet like Mahidevran, Hurrem, Hafsa, Hatice, Mihrimah. They butchered them a lot.

    I didn’t notice in the beginning, but Ibrahim resented Hurrem because he will loss control over Suliman . I stared to notice it when I went back and looked a little closer at the series.

      When Suliman read the transcriptions of the meetings Ibrahim had and read that he was a lion and Ibrahim was his trainer and controller he finally saw him for what he was. Its just sad that it ended how it did with them. Poor Suliman never felt true loyalty until he found Hurrem. She might have made mistakes no ome is perfect but she was always on his side even wanting to die if he was gone. Even taking what she thought was poison to prove this i dont see Mahidevran doimg the same.

    Mahidevran gelousy drove him away,but with time Hurrem became Mahidervan. But no surprise women couped up in the harem,no career, no work, not raising kids,what else could the do, keep themselves pretty and wanted. I am glad I don't live in those times

    • @oxanatarashchuk4598
      @oxanatarashchuk4598 15 дней назад

      What? Read the history first. They do raise their own kids, studied etiquette, languages and history, music and singing. They were not like they had nothing to do and leisurely spent their time. Plus, harem wasn't only about Sultan's women but also another ones who even could make a career when worked hard, and it's not about bed.
      Of course, harem at the one hand was unfair to the females, but from the other hand he did make a lot of smart and well-educated women. They had to be like that because Ottomans cared a lot about blood (genetics in modern language) and education

    • @oxanatarashchuk4598

      Also, she didn't become like Mahi. She did become much smarter with time and did everything to survive
