Yo, Michael Martinez here.. VideoSquid is currently what you’d call a “reaction channel”. Some of the bigger names that people seem to really like on this channel are Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, One Direction, Sohyang, Lady Gaga, Diljit Dosanjh, and pretty much anyone on WISH 107.5.
This channel was started when I quit my job…. fine, I was laid off… I had some extra time on my hands and didn’t necessarily need to take on a new job at the moment, so I decided to find out what it would be like to become a “RUclipsr” and if there was ANY possibility that THAT could actually be my new “job”. So I checked out the Trending Videos section on RUclips because I figured that’s where all the newest and coolest stuff would be, prime reaction material…. So I started off reacting to EVERYTHING!! Which was a waste of time…… although I guess it wasn’t a complete waste because it helped me work out some of the kinks. I was reacting to talk show interviews, random vlogs/sketches, educational animations - I’m bored just writing about it.. THEN I came across Zayn Malik’s stripped down version of “I Don’t Want To Live Forever”, which I thought was awful… I said exactly what I thought in the video and I received an unbelievable amount of hate, nothing like I’d ever experienced…. It didn’t bother me at all though, because of certain circumstances and even past jobs I’ve had, I have REALLY, really thick skin… The amount of hate actually excited me. The way I looked at it, engagement was engagement. Every time someone told me, “kill yourself”, “never react again”, “eww”, “quit youtube”, “shave your eyebrows”, “If I saw you right now I’d kill you”.... etc…… I thought, this is gonna help my SEO, I have so much activity!! Then I did MORE Zayn reactions, along the same lines of course, and others where I was also brutally honest and got MORE hate.. I got so used to being a hated channel and I totally embraced it. I accepted it as my thing.. But then something WEIRD happened……… people started to “respect”, “admire”, “appreciate”, even “LOVE” my honesty……. I didn’t know what to do with this information… It confused me for a moment… I didn’t mind the people that hated me at all, but now, I also wanted to keep the people that liked me, happy…. There was a short period where I didn’t know who to be… Do I keep being this Simon Cowell type that trolls my own haters?? Or do I be a nice guy now and tone it down because I don’t want to scare the nice people away?? Then I realized that the only reason ANYONE liked me in the first place was because of my honesty.. and I never minded the haters in the first place so, honesty was the answer…………….
It’s been awhile since that revelation, and this channel has been getting SO MUCH LOVE ever since……. Haters/trolls get bored after a while if they realize that they simply can’t get into your head.. The cool viewers stick around for the party :) ….. People have been SO cool that I even decided to “give back” a little and give them the opportunity to “critique” ME, since that’s what I’m doing to their favorite artists on a daily basis… So I started uploading some of my original music, completely expecting to be DESTROYED in the comment section……. And nope…. More love….. I’ve been doing music for a long time…. And I’ve NEVER received this kind of love for it! I was overwhelmed by the positivity and realized that I have the BEST viewers!
I don’t know what the future holds for this channel. It’s currently 99.99% reactions but I’d also like to do vlogs, sketches, more original music, etc. I’ll try to learn more about what you guys want to see and then I’ll do my best to deliver.

Stevie is one of Harry's greatest idols and they met a while back. Harry is her and Mick Fleetwood's friend (who considers Harry a son he never had) P.S: Christopher Nolan was also at this show

I don't think nobody knows how that came about, but Stevie once said that Harry baked her a cake for her birthday and brought it to a Fleetwood concert. Besides, weirdly enough, he is penpals with Mick Fleetwood.
So... yeah... he's a fanboy who became quite friends with his idols.

What I found so cool about this (aside from just being genuinely happy for Harry) is that it is like one iconic legend passing the torch to a legend in the making.

He is an old soul. Harry is back on late late show this week in London with James corden. Not sure what he'll sing but it should be good.

Am I the only one whose mind is blown that at 70 years old Stevie Nicks is still touring and performing all the time??? I'm old enough that I heard all of her songs as I grew up. The woman is a freaking God! Not too many young, up and coming musicians can hold their own with such a Powerhouse, but Harry isn't just anyone. He's his own version of Powerhouse!

there is no need to hate this, i dont think that he meant that in a bad way and he didnt say that we dont know anyting about music, not knowing who she is doesnt mean that, i heard of her because of harry and before him i listened to older bands like queen or red hot chilli peppers. so there is no reason to get offended :)

not to sound fake deep but this moved my soul so much...you wouldn't know, unless you knew me, that this collaboration was like a milestone of my life. I've been in love with Harry fo six years but I've loved Stevie since I was six. I couldn't choose between the two so I'm jealous of both of them. I wanted to punch Harry for beating me at singing Leather & Lace with her 😂 Seeing and hearing that he associated with half of my idols is what brought me to him. I'm so glad someone like you can look past the boyband thing and appreciate him for what he is...

I'm so excited you finally got to enjoy this song. I, too, LOVED watching Harry so emotional at the opportunity to sing with one of music's great icons. I have been waiting to see your reaction and you are right, a lot of the younger fans most likely do not even know who Stevie Nicks is, but they will have heard Harry talk about her as part of Fleetwood Mac, b/c he mentions them, along with others, as one of his major inspirations behind his new album.
There are many videos of this there are really good ones from the front view etc, and right after this video ends she starts to talk and he sits in the audience to listen to her, at his own concert. They are really good friends. I could get them for you but I'm sure you can find them. On one of your other videos I sent you a link to my update accts info on the troubadour with the videos, pics and articles..He dedicated a whole page in his Another Man Magazine issue to her.
I'm going to save the bulk of my response for when you react to 'Leather and Lace' because let's just say I lost my shit in a not so cool way (aka I sobbed for hours afterward) when they performed that one. Anyway, I thought this was a lovely rendition of Landslide. I liked your reaction to this. Stevie is Harry's idol so this was a really amazing moment for sure and she's the queen in my book so she can do no wrong.
The Sting comparison is interesting (he is British too) and I'm going to listen for that now because I never thought about it before. I do love me some Sting though.
He invited her to join her at one of the first concerts , pre tour, of his debut album. They performed three duets, first his song, Two Ghosts, then this Fleetwood Mac song, then the Stevie Nicks song, leather and lace, which she has performed with Don Henley. It is obvious that they had rehearsed with his band. He has since performed with her 4 times. My preference is Leather and Lace, Please react to it.
He had 5 years of experience singing harmonies with 1D and often lets the duet partner, i.e., Stevie , or Kacy Musgraves, Lizzo sing the Melody, while he harmonizes, especially when singing a song the partner wrote.
The harmony was definitely right!

I get your Sting reference, Harry has a similar 'rasp' to his voice like Sting. I had never noticed until you mentioned it, but it's a good thing. And yes, Sting is British too like me ;) I'm nearer Stevie's age than Harry's but I love that he is doing classic songs with classic artists like Stevie.
This was planned and they rehearsed. I wasn't there but I heard it was a fundraising event and other artists were there. And dude if 23 year old Harry knows who she is, so does everyone there. Jeffrey Azoff manages Harry. Jeffrey's dad Irving Azoff managed Fleetwood Mac and owns Live Nation. It's a known fact that Harry is a big fan of Stevie Nicks he brought her and carrot cake for her birthday at a concert. blah blah blah. So I'm sure the Azoff's arranged this.

I had to stop at the part you said "these people don't know who's Stevie Nicks" and I'm not coming for you, I'm trying to educate you. There're 1d fans of every single age but Harry fans.... We're mostly 18+ and yes there're little ones too but you know Harry's music is more for grownups. With all of this said, my point is that most of us grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Bowie, The Eagles and more... because of our parents so please don't judge so easily, if I had to judge you from just your videos I'd say you're kind of hypocrite since you always say you're so into classic rock or whatever and then have no idea who's Ronnie Wood. And again, I'm not coming for you and trying to help you here. I know you're kind of a Harry fan now and Harry's the kind of people that goes against comments like the one you made on us.
