"IS THAT THE NOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSS"
"NO ITS THE TURBOOOO"
Absolute banger of a line and im dissapointed that it wasnt used in the movie
Too many lost opportunities in those movies. He talks about it all on his channel.
My friend got a new car and the alternator was in the front. He sent me a picture and asked if it was a turbo lol. Someone told that boy that the car had a turbo in it and pointed at the alternator...
@@mattheww2360 i feel the same way when people go "can i just add more ram to make my computer faster" lmao
@@tonic316 lmao I just built my own pc and have my friends ask this exact same question about their $200 dell.
@Matthew W ... all alternators are on the front. How else would you drive the pulley.
"you'll probably have the whole box set, don't tell me what's wrong with it" is an excellent comeback, sir.
To be fair, most movies of ANY KIND have all sorts of "technical things that are wrong". It just has to be close enough for "suspension of disbelief". And there are plenty of nerd channels on RUclips that, while professing a great love for sci-fi, absolutely rips these TV shows and movies apart on their abuse of physics.
If you want a fun RUclips series to watch, Kelsey of 74 Gear channel does a "A pilot reacts" to movies involving aircraft and flight. I really liked his dissection of Cast Away, since Kelsey is a 747 CARGO pilot. (One of the birds he flies is the big 747 Boeing uses to ship aircraft fuselages.)
@@jackielinde7568 I think that’s what makes the Fast and Furious movies so great. Lol All the flaws make it funny to watch. Growing up watching them I had no clue, but even till this day I enjoy watching them because every time I do, it’s great to laugh at all the things they got wrong or wouldn’t think we would notice. Not having calipers on Jessie’s Volkswagen in the race wars scene is a great example.
@@ginobenedetto4943 Much like stock car drivers and fans love Days of Thunder but it has so many mistakes it is laughable. That is part of the joy, picking them out.
@@jackielinde7568 Did not expect to find a 74 Gear reference here, gotta second it though his stuff is awesome
@@jackielinde7568 Mover Ruins Movies is another good one to watch.
He really said “i got taken to gapplebees” 😂😂😂
Thats how you know he is a true car guy.
@ndm3 "i got taken to fuckin gapplebees"
imagine being one of the two car owners who never went to the casting call and realizing they missed that opportunity.
Right
They would have gone to the 2nd calling for the movies sequel..LOL
@@crxdelsolsir pretty sure by the second movie they had way more cars show up.. their loss
@@oSMILEYox they had a few new cars show up but most were either bought by Universal or given to them by auto manufacturers. The rest were reused from the first movie aside from the R34.
Finally we got the legend on that chair
Nah. The legend was H. B. Halicki.
I'd have to say the legend was Jay Leno but they haven't done him yet
@@---cr8nw Sadly, his legacy is let down by his surviving family of ballbags.
@@silkysixx, you got that right! I can't believe courts have sided with them on the copyright of (basically) any mustang that anyone calls Eleanor. I can understand it if they held a TRADEMARK on a yellow and black 1971 Mustang with a 1973 valance named Eleanor. But I don't see how it would be a "copyright". And I certainly don't see how it would apply to a gray 1967 Shelby GT500. So what if Disney paid for the use of the movie title and car name? If anybody should own the TRADEMARK on that car, it should be Disney.
"Why do you have a TV in your trunk?"
Craig: "It's for my ex-wife."
That's a brilliant joke and it's a shame it didn't land.
What those that mean ?
I didn't get it 😐
@@mikemx55 ex wife is in the trunk
@@johnj1766 Afraid to state the obvious: if the other guy asks about the tv, he can see the tv. Hence he can see the trunk, and see that no ex-wife is there. Hence the joke doesn't make any sense...
@@mikemx55 He wasn't suggesting she lives in his trunk.. It's kind of a one time deal.. Man it's cringy having to explain "obvious" jokes..
So glad to have Craig here to share stories. Truly legendary stuff. Be sure to subscribe to his channel.
Hi ed
These are going to be awesome!
Craig's channel has been a hidden jewel for awhile, glad to see him get more exposure!
This was a really good one!!! Congrats!
Some quality content you have there
If you have no idea, this guy is legendary!

@Upcycle Shoes challenge accepted
My Civic was in the "race wars" scenes, along with like every tuner car from San Bernardino at the time. Was filmed at an old Air Force base basically every parts store around town had flyers saying when to take cars down there.
So sick
really cool..
thats sick. mustve been fun as hell.
He's the guy who inflated the prices of our favourite cars. But then again, most of us wouldn't have known about these cars if it weren't for him
He didn't inflate anything, the market did!
Nah, paul's death did. The early movies deflated the cars value because nobody in the car scene liked the cars in the movie, because they were riced
Check old Zilvia posts and you'll see lol.
@@juancitobentos6351 Paul's death didn't increase the value of the cars, just the high end replicas. The market was always high for the top tier cars. And at this point, the Redwood movement and 25 year import law makes them see an appreciation.
They would have been inflated anyway. Look at the price of 240s and they were only responsible for seconds of screen time in those movies. Then look at the evo. Prices are actually reasonable and that car was used as the hero car in two separate movies.
@@rcairforceone yeah the u.s prices are nuts. It is 15 years in Canada so we can get WAY better deals on the 25 year old stuff that isn’t a supra GTR and certain r x7s.
"taken to f*cking gapplebees on the freeway" .. ladies and gentlemen rabbit has met his match for ridiculously hilarious phrases.
gapplebees has been said on instagram comments for years now
old school Cali street racing talk... more of a So. Cal saying though...decades old...
I’ve heard it on the east coast for years
Probably the best VINwiki video I have seen to date! This guy is awesome.
"You realize there is no air in space? Its a movie"
You don’t need air when you have family
Best video maybe but it's about a terrible movie franchise
“Are you sending hate mail to George Lucas” 😂
Oh, I'm pretty sure a few of them have. It's part of nerd culture to do the, "Um, Actually..."
That shot made me laugh so hard
No but Kathleen Kennedy definitely deserves it.

Yes this is so long overdue, ever since he started his RUclips channel I've wanted him on VinWiki.
Ed tried so hard so hard to keep this video monetized, the amount of beep is insane.
Craig really is 1 of the big reasons we are even watching this video RN, My childhood would never be the same watching FF2 on VHS every night. Ill never forget rewinding it all the time!

The ending is legendary
To be fair, George Lucas got plenty of hate mail in his prime. Legend has it that he still does.
"Spaceships dont have to bank" omg my mind is blown
I rolled with a tuner club in KC called "Tokyo Image Motorsports" when F&F premiered. The entire club was the center of a car show at the theater that evening. We were not impressed, but the car show was a huge hit, and the theater owner was extremely happy. Overnight, the tuner industry exploded, and this club and the business it represented, became very popular.
“Car people aren’t gonna watch this movie” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Every car person has at least seen this movie more than 100 times
"NO that's the turbooooooo!" Legendary
Talk About being in the right place, at the right time
This might be my favorite VINwiki story. That was amazing.
Heck yeah Craig ! So glad to see him on VINwiki !
I never thought about the aircraft in space in Star Wars lol. He’s actually right.
You just have to suspend your belief in physics and just watch the movies anyway. I mean, laser swords...
This should have been like a 10 second video were he says "I already answered that question have you not seen my RUclips channel "
Haven't heard any one get beeped for cussing on vinwiki till savage Craig liberman 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.
Damn Craigs here, I did not expect this since he has his own channel I subscribe. Wasn't gonna watch this video as I know this story from craigs youtube channel until I saw it was Craig himself telling this story.

why? he just repeats the same things over & over while stretching out stories for content.
Like spark said, his content is terrible and honestly, he doesn't know anything other than what you can find yourself on google. He is blowing so much smoke up everyone's ass it is hilarious to watch in a sad way...
@@guybrodudetv7492 I see the recommendation for his R34 vs R35 video & my first thought is honestly like, his opinion is of any substance how? He picked out some cars for a movie... that came out 20 years ago.
Been a subscriber of Craig's channel for a while. He has some truly amazing stories and it's so cool to hear especially about how the early films were done compared to the common practices in Hollywood at the time.
I’ve been subbed to this guy’s channel for a long time watching his fast and furious content. He’s great -Haven’t even started the video and I knew by the title it was Craig Lieberman

I always wanted a video of Craig in Vin Wiki, this is awesome
Love listening to Craig's stories about F&F
Finally the crossover I’ve been waiting for forever!!!
That rant at the end was absolute gold 🤣
Craig Lieberman seems like the kind of guy that got promoted from Junior Varsity to plan one game with the Varsity Team when he was 14 years old and still rambles on and on about it decades later.
He also seems like the kind of guy that gives himself a pep talk in the mirror every morning, reminding himself how good he is.
It was about the cars. Now all we get is Avengers level villains and the "heroes" might as well belong to marvel as well.
I was really hoping Craig Lieberman would show up here! Awesome stories, and great at telling them with spectacular detail!
Super super super pumped to see Craig on here! Have been enjoying his channel and always enjoy VINwiki. Thanks to all!
Just started watching Craig’s personal account a month ago. Lots of knowledge and experience, great stories! Glad to see you here.
Who else saw those civics as a kid and didn't realise until just now that every build they've undertaken in their teenage and adult years was inspired heavily by those cars? Still rolling with underglow in 2021.
This guy is a legend of the culture
Craig has resolved so many debates and thoughts that I've had in the past about this franchise's vehicles from the content on his channel. Glad to see him sharing part of his story here as well.
This guy IS NOW my favorite story teller by far!!! Awesome. Thank you.

I may have foreshadowed this in a comment a few months back. So glad you brought him in, Mr. Lieberman has some amazing stories! I haven't missed one on his channel yet.
I'm not sure how many videos Craig can do on Vin Wiki, but this episode was great. I was laughing my ass off the entire time. His video's are very analytical and there's so much to talk about. He's usually very serious. Not in a bad way, but kind of like a mad professor talking about some new cold fusion experiment. He talks about the cars with such enthusiasm, passion, etc.
Craig comes to Vin Wiki and let's his hair down and goes nuts. Great episode.

Who wants to make an accurate movie with correct terms?
I'd love to, however it would be pretty low budget. Though with the huge leap in camera gear and pro-sumer video editing tools, it can't be too hard to make an accurate car movie that looks good and is like that.
