Matt Rosa takes 2nd best mark of the season and doesn't get nominated for MOTY. AFL logic... Plus, Casboult's mark isn't any better than Josh Walker's. Any AFL player can take those.
In my opinion, it would broke someone's neck if you intentionally jumped that high with you knees up to someone's shoulders. Not a wise rule for a sport to hit each other without any protection like that. 2:08
The judges of mark of the year are a joke. How did Sam Gray's mark not even make the top 3? I thought it was the best of the year. And Casboult's mark would've been lucky to win mark of the week for me, and these guys somehow manage to sneak it in the top 3? Disgraceful.
Because Sam Grays mark should've been a free kick against him. You are not allowed to push with your hands at all but for some reason some umpires tend to still pay the mark.
Push in the back & contact around the shoulders = free kick everyday.... that is unless you go up for a specky and complete the mark. The laws of the game are inconsistent and flawed. I can't wait for the day that an umpire pays a free kick against the player that takes a specky
