- The greatest motocross / supercross racer of all time takes us for a crazy ride as he chases down his former teammate and 3x MXON winner Ivan 'Hot Sauce' Tedesco on board the brand new Triumph TF 250-X motocross bike. Triumph have gathered a top team of development riders to help them conquer the dirt bike and off-road world, not only do they have Ricky Carmichael and IT9, but MXGP ace Clement Desalle, enduro world champion Ivan Cervantes and AMA legend Jeff Stanton have all been on hand to develop the bike and they were all present at the global press launch to put a show on for us!

Ricky Carmicheal doesn't need the money, so for Triumph to get him onboard means that he's truly behind this bike. That's something magical.
He said that in our full review video on the channel, and you could tell he meant it. Thanks for watching.
Yep, that thought crossed my Mind. After watching the other video about the Triumph, I thought this isn't just some cheapo endorsement gig, Like "He Chews Our Gum" kinda thing. Ricky being involved in test riding, development and design consultancy is a major deal. Ricky also isn't gonna put his name and his rep behind a POS. He's betting on a safe horse. Which, as a champion 'jockey' he's qualified to do. 👍🏻😊.
But these things look REAL interesting. I'm certainly following the progress.

Everyone needs the money
This feature, as well as the constant blend of projects, unique bikes, and amazing event coverage are the reasons why the 999Lazer team have created a paradigm shift in 'RUclips dirt TV'. This is why it's really well worth financially contributing to this channel🙌👏👏
Legend. Thanks as always for the support Guy! We'll continue trying to make each video better than the last :-)
Legends of the sport showing they still have it
they were awesome to watch Tony :)
Ya see Max, this proves my point nicely. That level of professionalism and how serious you are about your mission statement, is now manifesting the fruits of your labours. Getting to interview some of the greats, especially the GOAT, is exactly what I was talking about. THIS is EXACTLY the kind of watching the MX fan wants. My comparison earlier, was spot on, you ARE the Top Gear of off road motorcycling. 40 years ago mate, 999 Lazer would've been an ITV show.
I'm so gonna be avvin one of these Triumphs, but the big Enduro, with some Gold anodized Excel Supermoto rims on Talon Hubs, also in Gold, and Road Tyres. Hooning around letting my brain think it's 21, whilst my body is saying, slow TF down you stoopid old fart!!
This comment has made my day! Thanks so much for the continued support dude, we'll carry on doing what we are doing, trying to make each video better than the last :-) Enjoy that Triumph went it comes ;-D
I'd give this video 3 thumbs up if I could. Well done Max
Haha Cheers, appreciate that :)
Keep the videos coming, looking forward to seeing the triumph on the track and maybe getting one 🤔
Will do! Thanks for watching Dave:)
I have no idea how you got Ricky to agree to wear your GoPro, or how you got Ricky and Ivan to agree to do a chase like that, but seriously dude, thank you. This video is worth it’s KBs in gold. To see them chopping it up again has made my day! 🙏
So glad you enjoyed it dude! The guys are super cool and were up for anything on the day. They were more than happy to take the camera for a rip :-)
Awesome vid max , nice to see the old boys rip man they were fast
Thanks James, they were really impressive to watch and super nice guys.
Still seems strange to be calling Ivan and Ricky "old" , but time waits for none of us...I still own=race motocross bikes with TWO shocks!! 😅❤
Fantastic video Max, hope the triumph does well, the bike seems great, loving the videos max, absolute quality.
Thanks Kevin:)
The bike looks and sounds cool, well done to triumph and rc and the rest who developed the bike 👏
They had some a great team to help develop this machine! Thanks for watching Gazza
The cool thing is that Ricky is truly behind this bike, It's not an advertising gig. I remember watching Ricky racing outdoors amateur before he was a pro. The guy was gnarly. He was always on the edge of crashing sometimes ragdolling himself just to win. He was afraid of losing like it was some sort of disease. The dude would cry if he had a DNF due to a bike issue. Very inspirational racer. A freaking animal, lol.
Unreal to pick up the exhaust noise as to how early the pro riders get on the throttle to power through the corner classic tenique brake in a straight line but the video actually shows how it is executed great video ❤
Thanks for watching Paul :)
Awesome video man! Ricky is so humble and kind. But he’s right Ivan Tedesco STILL has that sauce
I could've watched IT9 hit that big step up all day long, silky smooth! Thanks for watching Nathan :-)
Dude! Riding with royalty. Triumph is taking moto seriously, and I'm loving it.
It was seriously cool, i did not feel qualified to be on track with those guys! lol Triumph have assembled the avengers of mx testing to help develop their bikes! Thanks for watching Kevin :-)
To see RC get geared up makes me change the oil and air filter and start the bike and ride it out of the yard
haha, i know what you mean. I was really stoked when he offered to take the camera for a ride:)
Just Fantastic!!! Thank You!! ❤
Thanks for watching Mark!
You left out the biggest legend Mr. Jay Dalton
I think Jay must've ridden on a different day to us, I didn't see him at the track. Watched his video though! :-D
@@999lazer I thought that might be the case after seeing other Triumph testing at gator back vids. Thx!
That bike looks like it feels good, if you know what I mean...
Thanks for the no talking raw footage that was incredibly satisfying!
I was lost in the moment for awhile just as if I was there 😎
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it
Very awesome 🚴💯 Thanks 4 sharing dude
Thank you for watching! :-)
That would be such a fun experience to ride this bike. 💯🤙✌️🇺🇸🙏💣
Both of these guys are still very smooth and I bet could be relevant in today's 450 class.
Tedesco in particular was so smooth and stylish. I would bet money that Clement Desalle had the fastest lap times out of the group though! Thanks for watching Hanky :-)
Holy shiit. Looking good. I thought the uphill was a huge quad at first sight.
IT9 used to come out and ride at the Rainbow2 Track by Hemet Way back... 2003.
IT9 still has so much style, he was so fun to watch! Thanks for watching Patrick :-)
To be at these guys levels back in the day then fast forward to now being over 40 and at this level. I'm envious to say the least.
They just make everything look so effortless and easy!
If I was still racing I would buy a Triumph just for the RC connection
He is doing a great job for Triumph, thanks for watching:)
Are going to a 450 and enduro versions?
yes, later this year for both
@@999lazer Thy sound like they're going start a revolution! Time to get a bigger paper round 🤤
Great video, the Triumph looks sharp 👍
You should do a feature on Malcolm Oastler in Australia, he's built a bike with 2.5 Litre 2 stroke outboard motor. I'm sure it would interest you.
Thanks for watching Stevo, the Triumph was very impressive. I'll definitely check out Malcolm, sounds right up our street. Thanks for the pointer! :-)
Ivan Tedesco still a legend in Burque bro!
A lot of riders have said the 100 rear tyre is a bad choice & should of been a 110. I know it's for weight essentially but why would triumph compromise handling for a slight weight decrease. Surely the test riders would of picked up on this during pre pro testing. Is it a case of triumph sticking with their weight goals no matter what.
good question. we'll try and find out.
2.15 rear rim would have been great rather than 1.85
@pags1981 yeah that's what I thought. I've got a crf that had a 100 rear on, swapped to a 2.15 with a 110 loads better I thought.
I definitely buy their 2T if they make one
When will you try a rotary MX?
Dang Ricky still hauls ass.🤙🙏✌️💯🇺🇸💣👊
The GOAT. GO RICKY!
Welcome to my neck of the woods! Gatorback is not normal for Florida you should go and ride some real sugar sand...
I was expecting it to be sandier to be fair! It was an awesome facility though, so much bigger than anything we've got at home!
Ricky should have invited Bubba to the party.
Man how cool would that have been!? Thanks for watching dude :-)
RC ducked more roost in those laps than he had to his whole professional career.
Haha that's so true :)
I wish my ktm350sxf pulled as hard as those triumph
😎👍🏻
thanks for watching tess!
Was Ricky running out of fuel towards the end there? Certainly sounded like his bike cut out on a closed throttle a couple of times. All the best of British to Triumph and Congratulations to the channel, You're up there now if you're on the manufacturer launch 👏😎
it sounds like the bike has a turbo or something
there’s a video of a triumph hitting the whoops and the turbo sound comes on exiting the corner
I see the G.O.A.T following Hot Sauce, not chasing him.
Thats the baddest stock 250f ive ever saw 51 hp is crazy ktm 250f only has 47 hp thats the next best bike is just crazy Im sure they got a 450 in works but prob dont have it figured out yet
The 450 should be out by the end of 2024 :-D
give bubba i ducati
now that i would love to see!
250? They should have built a 450.
The Triumph 450 should land by the end of 2024
hi
Hi Oscar
Made in thailand or south America very british😂
The bikes are manufactured in Thailand alongside most of the Triumph road bike range... that's just the reality of modern manufacturing i guess. I was surprised to learn the other week when i did the BMW G450X video that their engines were made in Taiwan
@@999lazer can you do a review of the british japan hagon yamaha aluminium frame 50 made you can do it the force is strong young motocross jedi
Sorry Ricky, love you, BUT! Jeremey McGrath was probably the BEST of ALL TIME!
Aw Ricky can't keep up
He just wanted a nice easy ride, Hot sauce had other ideas! lol Thanks for watching dude
