It looks weird but it's delicious. Another way I like to do it is add tater tots and cheese on top of the meat instead of mashed potatoes.

One of the things we've been going back and forth with is the storage strategy: either by ingredient or by meal.

the difference between Shepard pie and cottage pie is the former uses lamb and the later uses beef.

I put the creamed corn under the potatoes-I wouldn't want to spoil that crust that forms on the potatoes. It doesn't look like prison food with the golden potato crust.

Can ypu freeze dry eggs? (any preprtion of them) i supose sipler one would work best to be able to make a powder tan can be mixed with different spices to make furikake to be used as sesoning for rice and different preparations

Technically not a shepherd's pie.
1. Shepherd's = lamb, cottage = beef
2. Also it is a casserole. To be a pie, it must have a crust on the bottom and sides of the dish.

What sealer do you use? I’ve never seen anything like it. I find that the one that came with our harvest right doesn’t always seal the Nile our bags right as well as it doesn’t take out the air like yours does.
It’s an avid armor chamber sealer. SO nice but also pretty pricey

As a southerner this is a weekly meal for my family. We don’t do the cream corn on top just cheese and taters but it still looks the same haha! But besides it looking like literal shit it’s really freakin good!

I can't stand the whole instant mashed potatoes thing. I have a hard enough time with the texture of regular mashed potatoes. From my experience, rehydrated potatoes end up having the texture of grainy soup.
I thought candy freeze dryers were only around 300
I’ve never seen a freeze dryer specifically built for candy. Definitely no freeze dryer around $300 that I’m aware of!
I've never heard of the freeze dryer being that cheap either. If you're interested in freezing candy, just get a regular freeze dryer and sell some freeze dried candy. From what I've heard, it will end up paying for itself.
