One thing to keep in mind is that, due to the setup of the hopper, this blaster cannot be used pointing up. If you are trying to blast the underside of a horizontal surface, you will need a different solution.
These will work OK, after the mods are done...Re drill the hopper, and the valve at the trigger...also crush the soda, and strain it...I also heat the soda, or sand
Evaporust is just a solution and works wonders. You just drop em in for a day or the following they are like new after a little bit of brushing. No need to spend money on an ultrasonic cleaner. Evaporust solution is also reusable.
this looks like it might be good for cleaning the rust off cast iron pans

Wow. Does pretty good. Might have to get me one.
Soda is a mild abrasive, I like the Idea of using soda, I have used aluminum oxide in mine and it does good also much courser Thank you
Baking soda is conductive with moisture. Nothing wrong with doing this but keep that in mind.

I use a wire wheel on bolts
I got one of them and did a review it seems pretty cheap
I have one didn't work for me
Your compressor
I will subscribe if you give us a video using a few different types of media in it. dont lose me on this one
I wish I could, but like spaying toxic paint, im not set up for it yet. When I get a positive pressure respirator helmet, Ill revisit this.
Evaporust is what you want.
I think if I have this issue again with small parts, I will try that with an Ultrasonic parts cleaner.

Steam cleaning ftw
Will steam remove surface rust?
I have one of those and it's a crappy product IMO. Use a real sandblaster and you'll know what I mean.
That was obvious to me when watching the video. I was amused with all the time and energy spent on the bolts ( that could have been cheaply replaced.)
Go tractor supply and get you some bolts alot cheaper
Just order generic screws for the thing man, you don't need to buy 5$ each screws lol.
