How to put in eye drops

I have seen many patients struggling with eye drops, many people drizzle eye drops all over their eye area, hoping some would get in, and some people accidentally poke their eyes with the dropper. One patient I remember refused cataract surgery because the idea of having to put in eye drops after the surgery terrified him. Here's how I put in eye drops. The key is to look at your eyes in the mirror and tilt your head sideways instead of up, so you know where you are aiming. Try it! If you're scared, just close your eye and put the drops in the inner corner of your eye while it's closed and then blink several times and it'll go in your eye. You might need to add a couple drops.

There is a much easier way....
Look Straight Up ...
Drop the eye drops in the corner of your eye near your nose. And let the drops hit the skin slightly above the corner of your eye and the eye drop slides right down into your eyes...
That spot by your nose and the corner of your eye has an angle and works like a slide.

I was using Blink artificial tear in this video specifically. Any artificial tear drops from the brand Blink, Systane and Refresh are pretty reliable.
