But faith is something you put into someone or something who has earned it. Not something you’ve never met or known. Christians can feel all kinds of things, I thought I “felt” the lord too. But the brain can do amazing things to draw strength and comfort from ideas or beliefs that can be true or even false. I just want you to find what makes your life whole and fulfilled. When I first heard this song My Best Friend/brother pointed this song out me. He told me that any time I felt sad or lost and needed something to remind me of him I could listen to this and he would be there to comfort me. I at first didn't know what he meant by that. till February 25, 2015 almost two years ago, I got a message from a friend of mine and he told me that my best friend/brother was on his way home from work and fell asleep behind the wheel and hit the back of a semi and landed in the ditch and died on impact.... I was so hysterical..... and devastated.. I cried for 3 days straight. I would listen to this song all day and night thinking and wishing and screaming his name and begging him to come back. I needed him to comfort me but it never happened. the day we laid him to rest we played this song and ever since then this is my comfort song. cause I know that even though he is invisible and he may not be with me physically i know he is with me spiritually. he is always there. I miss him so much and it kills me to know I'll never see him again or feel his hugs or hear his voice or see his smile but I know when I play this song, his song I'll always have him there beside me and I know I'm never alone as long as this song stays close to me. he will stay beside me. I'm familiar with the band Barlow Girl enough to know that this is indeed a Christian song by a Christian band. I do agree that they are talking about their relationship with God in the song. HOWEVER, if someone who is NOT a Christian were to interpret a totally diff meaning, what's wrong with that? It's still a great song with a positive message, a message that could still give hope to someone who is troubled, Christian or not. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?

Jesus is always with you and he always answers but if you aren’t living right and walking in flesh, not spirit, then it’s pretty right on but if you’re intimate and walk in spirit all the time it’s not correct but I love this song. I'm familiar with the band Barlow Girl enough to know that this is indeed a Christian song by a Christian band. I do agree that they are talking about their relationship with God in the song. HOWEVER, if someone who is NOT a Christian were to interpret a totally diff meaning, what's wrong with that? It's still a great song with a positive message, a message that could still give hope to someone who is troubled, Christian or not. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?
This song goes really good along side the book trilogy "Kissed by an Angel."
Although I never cared much for the Barlow Girls, I have always liked this song.

Their songs are religious, they sing about God and the belief. It's not about an imaginary boyfriend, or about a long distance relationship or something. Look on wikipedia, and you see that all their songs (or almost all their songs) have a religious background.

The band Barlow girl is technically 99.9% religious band however the lyrics are sang in a way to speak to both religious and non-religious listeners. I love the hell out of this song

God made music so we could make our own views upon it. That should end the argument. If it relates to you in a way of God then thats great. If its about a boyfriend or girlfriend or relative thats great too, sure it could be even about a memory you had once and you wanted it back, thats great also. God never limited his people to all do the same achievement, I don't see why music should either.

RIP Ashley Heart, my best friends twin, two best friends were sisters, she died of cancer at the young age of 12. Me, Ashton & Ashley became best friends & Ashley became a part of both me & Ashton. We used to lie to ourselves & each other that Ashley was still alive, but we both knew that she was dead on my 14th birthday my sister yelled at me "Ashley's dead! She can't come to your stupid party!" At that moment I realized I spent two years pretending that Ashley was still living and started to cry, me and Ashton play this song when we want to remember Ashley, she loved this song.

This is one of my favorite songs, though some of it isn't exactly uplifting. I mean, He always is there. Yes, you shoud trust him, but let's just say he isn't unseen if you are a strong Christian. He works in so many great ways in my life, He isn't unseen. He's everywhere. I pray he will be the same for you guys, Christian or not. Amen.

I remember when my best friend used to leave me out and it hurt me so much that I'd used this cry in the bathroom because I felt like I needed her and our friendship was lost. and I also felt like she didn't care as much. then I would cry even harder because I felt like I was gonna do something to myself. then all of that changed to where I no longer had to worry
