HOW I REVIEW:
As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:
A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.

I’ve been using the Secrid wallet with the snap button for quite a few years now and I love it.
I chose it mainly because it prevents the wallet from opening up accidentally, especially if it falls on the ground.
Instead of grease, try using Tuf-Glide. I use it on all my folding knives, and all you need are a few drops.
Besides watch, wallet, keys and phone, I also carry a folding knife, a flashlight and a lighter.

I can think of 2-3 ways they could solve the 'wiggling' problem with the Secrid wallet which may be the best of both worlds. 1.) Put two small magnets in the corners of the leather fold, which attaches to the corners of the aluminum card holder (would have to glue some steel 'dots' there), 2.) Sew two little bumps into the corners of the flap so it sort of 'locks' into place around the corners of the aluminum card holder, or 3.) put a stiffer strap into the binding of the wallet, like those slap-wrap corner style things from your RUX 70L video, so it has more structure to it.

On the lights I carry-use two or three lights when I'm out well one is a usb rechargeable headlight for my bicycle when I'm using more since it is darker earlier. I keep a small AAA light in my backpack and I also use a headlamp, which I used for years as a Mechanic, photographer and journalist way more useful than trying to hold a light in your teeth.
You could probably clip that X-0 to the brim of a hat or beanie.
I have been looking at that those Wuben lights I first saw them on Jon Gadget's channel.

Have you considered the secrid x carl friedrick ? I've been using it for a bit - i can hold two bills in the extra slot, and if i need more cash for an occasion i just carry a money clip as well.

Bo, a great video detailing your pocket EDC! On the Wuben flashlight, does it feel kinda of 'blocky' inside your pocket with other items (phone, knife, etc) or is it negligible?
Thanks, mate. The Wuben X2 actually feels quite comfortable, because it somewhat resembles an old gas lighter. But it is a few grams heavier than the X0 (mentioned in this video). So you might notice it if you are not used to it

I think you are pretty forgiving with flaws like with the folding knife. its pretty freakin expensive for a silmpe knife, and it cant even fold up right after months of use. what are you paying for when not a really really well made piece of metal. a swiss army knife does that for decades now...

It's this one. amzn.to/3urWwhR however it's only ok. The stand is unbalanced once you unfold the phone. It's great as a holding device but not as a phone stand. I will replace it in the future

It's called clickr. For normal phones it's great. But for a Samsung fold it doesn't work as well as I was hoping for

It's a stand and phone grip that you can unfold. It's cool, but doesn't work as well as I was hoping for. So I'm the future I will probably replace it. For regular sized phones it works well though

Have you checked the German focx wallet?
It has replaced my secrid wallet because it has less sharp edges and I prefer that because of that. Also the ability to hold more cards.
No RFID but I don't see a need for that.

Get yourself a slim minimalist wallet. As far as the knife goes ultem is hideous and why did you get an old Elementum and not an Elementum II button lock? Get a Kizer Assassin if you want a great budget knife.
At that moment the button lock version was not in stock. Now that I have seen ultem in person, I get where you are coming from. It's not as pretty like in moste Instagram pictures
FYI Ceramic ball bearings shouldn't be greased, that's the main reason to use ceramic ball bearings - normaly maintenance free. 🙂

@@Youknowtheboit might be the pivot screw, it might be too tight. If it’s not that I’d definitely reach out to civivi for advice.
Both of these guys are correct. You should clean your bearings with a degreasing agent and just put a dab of some light oil, mineral oil should be fine. Then when you put your knife back together, you can use a little blue lock tight on the pivot screw, being careful to not get it all over the place, snug the screw, then back it out until you have the action you want. Check the blade centering and blade play as you’re making your adjustments to the screw. You don’t want your pivot so loose that the blade isn’t centered while closed or that the blade can jiggle side to side. You should have a nice action after that.
