I’ve got all my yarn and I absolutely love it! All those colors are a feast for the eyes! I’ll be starting the little sweaters as soon as I finish a few more balls…maybe 20 or 30??? :). I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the Sedestal videos and learning more about your traditions and your rich heritage. It’s so lovely that so many of your countrymen and women are keeping your history, arts and customs alive. It’s so obvious that you all treasure your ancestors and their accomplishments. I wish people here in America felt the same way. Sadly, we are losing our country to people who don’t appreciate or value the good things that came before. They only focus on what was wrong. So it is a breath of fresh air to watch you, and see the tremendous pride you have in your heritage. Thank you for that! Xoxo.

I was watching Sit and Knit for a Bit this week and you mentioned the Norwegian Rowan Yarn in their online store was in stock again! Hopped right over and made my purchase clicking from your website store as I am so happy to support your channel as you bring me so much joy! I have not needlepointed in a long time as here in the US it is not as popular any longer, and too I have my walls filled with projects I have done since childhood and I am now a senior, but I still have many UFO's in my Canvases and watching Arne be so creative in his finishing of the ones he gets from the "blind, dead??? lady" at your local thrift shop has inspired me to pull out some I still really want to finish! Arne, I say let Carlos sit in the car....it is more fun that way when you are BOTH happy!

Thank you so much for explaining how you chose your colors. I'm always so interested in everything that you do and how you do it. I have to say that these are not my colors and I hope that you will do some pinks, purples, blues and aquas. There is a story behind why I don't care for those colors but I don't want to bore everyone lol. Let's just say it was a childhood trauma and leave it at that. I can't wear the mustard yellow even thoughh I like it because of the color of my eyes (light brown). It makes them turn orange lol. I wore my favorite blouse in that color and the boy I liked made fun of my orange eyes. The blouse was never worn again and the boy was no longer on my list lol. Until Wednesday, love and hugs to you both.

Every podcast I learn something new about art, culture, heritage and everything else including about knitting and yarn projects. You have no idea how educational your podcasts are...they have opened up my eyes to so many things in the world. I am sad right now as Rowan is out of most of the Norwegian Wool...it is such a wonderful yarn to knit with. I wrote and asked when the colors might be back in stock as I want to get going on your new balls...do you know by chance? I know the Christmas colors are probably in very high demand. I love that you coordinated them with the Advent Sweaters. You both bring so much joy to my life! :)

Knitting the Advent mini jumpers with the fabulous Norwegian Wool yarn has given me a chance to “swatch” all of the colours and the different combinations. It turns out that my favorite is ALWAYS the one that I am currently working on. It’s absolutely that gorgeous. Mini jumpers= mini swatches. It also gives me a cure for my “castitis”. So many payoffs from this great project. 😁

Awe, this was a wonderful video. I love your setting and of course all the colours in your new wool. The broken wooden bucket Arne showed reminds me of one I have found in a flea market a few years ago. It has of course the metal rims around it, to hold it together and it came with a laddle. It is suppose to be a Sauna bucket. :-) We used it for our historical reenactment and in our tent/camp, back in the day.
The typical norwegian colours are similar to the swedish ones I guess, because when I look at the new ski sweater collection/ accessoires, they remind me of the sweaters Pippi Longstocking wore, as well as the children Tommy and Annika. (in German we call them Tommy and Annika) Or the children in Astrid Lindgren`s Büllerbü and Saltkrokan stories. Those sweaters were so cool and I loved those trousers back in the 70s, you know, the stirrup pants, also worn for skiing back then. :-)

I don’t knit but I do crochet. Your yarn colors are beautiful. Yes maybe they aren’t as old as in your Norwegian culture, but if it was before my lifetime it suits being Old and Centuries old I might add; & we look back and admire our homespun traditions here in the U.S. as well. Our natural colonial homestead homespun yarn is my favorite for crocheting. We have many local people who dye their yarns with natural resources found in gardens and nature as a whole across the country. It was Very interesting to hear how you came to choose what to produce.
