I do not understand how these videos do not get more likes. Fjallraven has stood out to me by their genuine desire to educate people like me who want to learn but simply do not know. They are the only manufacturer in this space that I see doing this. It instills in me so much more trust in them, and more confidence in the products I purchase from them.
I bought an Fjallraven Singi wool overshirt and can’t bear the itchiness on my arms and neck… is there anything I could do to change that? I love the look and fit, but just can’t handle the discomfort. Any suggestions?

@ Thank you for the quick response. Have many different brands but yours….. looking at a system for my fishing habit!!!!! Haven’t explored the wool element, but ready. Thanks again for your time.
My personal experience with this is that I purchased an Aran wool sweater and it is unwearable. It is very harshly itchy. I have no idea what the micron measurement of the yarn is but I cannot wear the sweater even over an undershirt.
I have a Brattlands hat, which is moderately itchy, but also a lambswool lada sweater, which is very soft and basically not itchy at all. I think it's the lambswool that makes the difference.
itchy? Yes some skins are sensitive to wool, do not deny it, and some wools are itchy on every skin if not treated. And itchy skin(food allergies !!) needs protection from wool.
More akward than scenes from Portlandia. Good info though. Most of the wool I wear is from around ww1 and ww2 in greatcoats, and of course it is prickly. Interestingly though, sweating in the wool seems to eliminate the itch. I've heard its the barbs in the wool on a microscopic scale that bite into skin, and sweating must do something akin to felting them
I love genuine folks like these presenters, so refreshing 🤩

Great video, but tell me one thing, your wash label says 30 degrees - but my washing machine says wool program 40 degrees! What to do?!
Try a program that says something like "Delicates 30" or handwash program. I often find those to work pretty well
@@rapptor123456789 thanks for the tip, but I have done some experiments and “wool 40” actually works fine!
How many microns is the Lada sweater?
What is the thermos insulative property percentage of wet wool, compaired to dry wool?
Interesting. How do I keep the moth out of the wool?
Is it normal for wool to shed a lot? My wool sweater is shedding a LOT after the first wash
What is the jacket you were using as an example?

Love here videos fro Fjall
🎉 never stop using wool - thx
Other than the merino Henley every fjallraven wool sweater or beanie I've used is very itchy.
I own 2 of the 1960 logo hats (also FR, please sell the 1960 logo patch as just a patch) in lambswool and they are as soft and non itchy as can be.

Great video……
Wool is definitely the best way to go no matter where.
will you start blending wool in your pants, rather than cotton?
Hi, The Värmland wool trousers is a wool blend, but we don´t have any plans to add more trousers with wool blend at the moment.
