My name is Kalvin. This speaks to me in a way I can not explain. You might describe me now, the same as he was described to look like.

Catholic's often tell me that Calvin was a murderer. What are some good sources for discovering if that is true or not?

In all seriousness, people that read about Calvin that call the man humble or a man of God is astounding. He literally had a man tortured every day for a month before beheading him. All because the guy (Jacques Gruet) opposed him and called him a heretic.

Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.

I live in Scotland whose whole culture is steeped in Calvinism, because of the Scottish Reformation. A close American friend once explained to me he is now a Calvinist. Then he asked me if I knew what Calvinism is? I replied, 'You obviously don't, if you ask me that question!.'
By the way Calvinism is not the Gospel... the Gospel came first! Calvinism is one way to express the Gospel!

I've heard geneva was in a paper shortage and a librarian gave people his sermons to write on the back of!! may be wrong, not sure. we have different sources!

This is true! From one writer: "Early in the nineteenth century the pastor in charge of the Bibliothèque de Genève where they were stored sold most of the volumes of Calvin’s manuscript sermons ‘by weight,’ that is, presumably as waste paper; and although some were eventually recovered, about a thousand were permanently lost."

Thank God for the Roman Catholic Church (His one true Church) in these times of the great apostasy (the anti-christ new world order).
