After reading an article about the amount of back surgery that many world class female gymnasts need during or after their career, and that sometimes they are still left with bad lifelong back pain, it makes me sad at the same time. 😢 Wishing all the girls an women in ballet and gymnastics good health during and after their careers!

@@brandone6113same but out of nowhere it seemed like I lost it around the time I turned 28-32. It was probably lost slowly over time I just didn’t realize because life got in the way and contortion and flexibility isn’t a part of everyday life if you don’t make it ya know
She's hypermobile, you can tell by how she overstretched her elbows. Just please keep on mind, that there's a desease called Ehlers-danlos-syndrom, which affects all soft tissue in the body. Which is basically everything. Doing too much can cause really huge issues when growing up. Just for her health, either get it checked, or just keep it in mind in case she develops health issues. Well done Tori, as an ex dancer/gymnast myself I applaud such talent in youngsters. But a word of warning, I'm now 54 and have so many problems with my bones and joints and that's mainly from not maintaining their health with proper diet and caution. I'm hoping that nowadays with better education these young kids are being taught better in maintaining their health and wellbeing.
