Thank you for the video! I imagine I'm too late with this question - but I was wondering if there's a way to get the transcription/pre-mRNA sequence directly from ensemble? TIA
A t 2:29 if i want to design primers that span exons junctions how do i do this. Im confused. There are exons in yellow and then ESPN exons in red. And then just yellow in between. Would i need to pull together just the red letters or all letter in yellow.
Thank you for doing this video. really helpful ! Please do such videos often
Thank you. I have always outsourced primer/probe design because I didnt know how to find exons. This will help me so much. Thank you.
Thank you, this video is very useful for my thesis
Thank you for this awesome video.

It is very helpful ☺
YOU ARE AN ANGEL
wow! it really helped me. Thank you!
It was useful video. Good work! please keep it up. Thank you
Thanks! It helped me a lot
Please, why in mRNA seq we're seeing nucleotides like DNA, have not U base?
Thanks from Vietnam
Nice explanation
Thanks for sharing. So, how can I get transcript structure of gene at Ensembl? Thanks again!
I am unable to download the exon seq from this tool. No database is available for plants specially Oryza sativa,, help me in finding
wasn't there a way to view all the exons of the gene, not of a particular transcript?

The yellow without the red text is exons of other genes. To design primers only for your gene of interest, you need to just look at the red sequence.
Thank you for this awesome video... Please I need a help for find a sequence of a SNP plymorphism of TNF gene
Please email details of your query to helpdesk@ensembl.org explaining exactly what it is you're struggling with.
How we download the entire gene sequence from 5' (ATG) to 3' (UAG).means start to stop codon?
The Export data button on the genes pages provide you with options to download genomic, cDNA, CDS and protein sequences.

HOW CAN WE FIND A MUTATION IN A PARTICULAR EXON
Ben shows you the configure menu for the exons view at around 7m40s. You can display variants using that option.
