1. During commando event 2. Yes but mostly because of towers with abilities/ spawners 3. Content for higher level players 4. Rebalances for all modes plus reworks for all towers that need one 5. Good game needs optimization
1. Late Frost Invasion (September 2021) 2. Well, it depends because most of the time I play tds I have fun, challenges that still convince me to continue playing such as Hardcore and beating Polluted wastelands for the 9th time. 3. Nostalgia, tds lacks nostalgia because even during the frost invasion, I liked it. There wasn’t a lot of nerfs or reworks. Hidden wave also still existed even though I never got to see it in action ;( I just get this weird nostalgia feeling. 4. Add hidden wave back, Fix and add Golden mode back. Make a Time Machine that allows you to go to any TDS era, fix the hundreds of bugs. Add John and sentry back. Buff accel, Collaborate with Madness Combat! Add new zombies and bosses. I forgot, but also bring back Mega-servers. I remember I used to hop on mega servers when trying to do badlands to get cowboy, fun times Galactadroid, (half robot, half space king)Guardian of the galaxy Has 5 million health Immune to electricity-related attacks 5: The game is overall good although there are so many bugs, and pretty boring
1:August 2022,my friend introduced me to this game and I fell in love with it 2:Tds is fun because it is simple and easy to just hop in a game and chill 3:I think TDS feels repetitive at times and there isn’t anything to do 4:If i were to add anything,it would be more events,an endless mode,or maybe modifiers to spice things up 5:I think TDS is still fun,but there is not many modes you could do
Personal opinions and stuff 1. Joined in 2020 during the egg hunt event. 2. Kind of, it can definitely be fun for new players and when you impose special challenges on yourself, but outside of that, not really, it’s gotten too easy and boring. 3. Balance. TDS keeps getting easier while adding super OP towers. They need to rework most game modes to be harder as even polluted wastelands has become easy. 4. PVP, a rework of molten and fallen mode to make them harder, sandbox mode, and an event. I’ve had this idea for a while so I thought I’d show it off here, so basically a portal would open up in the main lobby (similar to how hardcore was released) after it opened up it would bring you too the 2020 lobby. All content would be classic-afied, making towers like brawler or engineer look like they were from 2020. Once entering the event you would fight against old enemies, either removed enemies (Templar, mysteries, etc.) or from old events, wave 20 you would fight against swordmaster, wave 30 against raider, wave 40 against golden titan, and finally, wave 50 against creator from hidden wave. After beating the event you would be rewarded with enforcer. Exiting the portal would lead you to the present day lobby, with enforcer being updated to the modern style of tds. 5. I think tds is in a decent state as of now. It could definitely use improvements, but it’s definitely the best TD game on Roblox right now.
a story mode would be absolutely perfect for TDS and that would bring so many new players to the game. If anyone has played All star tower defense I think that the story mode could give you materials and such for beating it which you can use to upgrade your tower.
all star tower defense isnt really a good influence for a tower defense game (gambling) and i dont think story mode would do any good for tds maybe cutscenes for special gamemodes would be good but an entire storymode? nah
I love how much elite has changed his content over the years, at first (I think), he did those challenge/trolling videos, like the mecha base trolling one, then, during the burnout he did those weird little text to speech animations, later, he started doing those “drama”/ commentary with gameplay, very recently, checking out the updates and now something even more different I love this channel bro ❤
1. 2020, During the egghunt event, I played with my brother all the time back when we used to sneak into eachother's rooms at night and play roblox. I was obsessed with the bunny medic It was like my fav tower of all time but unfortunately I lost my account that I played TDS with thru 2020-2022. 2. TDS is definitely fun due to the wide spread options you have for grinding and regular gameplay, you can play with people and make challenges for yourself to keep bringing new challenges. 3. One of their biggest issues is definitely a lack of difficulty, and when things are difficult you need a strat to beat it. I'm hoping when the new reworked gamemodes come out they make it harder especially for fallen and molten so you can beat molten on your own with amazing towers but still make it a challenge, promoting teamwork and multiplayer, while something like fallen should be extremely difficult to beat solo, so people are pushed to work with others more. I also hope they add more secrets like the secret wave and continue to make more seasonal events like Summer/easter events. 4. The next update would probably be adding more unique maps and making gamemodes more difficult, I know they're already doing the second one but the first could really help. TDS makes super unique maps for events like frost invasion, but I also really liked the first defend the circle map. I wish they would add maps likes these permanently instead of using maps such as defend the circle for events (we alr know how it usually ends). For gamemodes, I want complete overhauls, especially new enemies and bosses. Hardcore is cool because of the many different unique enemies, and I wish more enemies like that would be added to things like fallen and molten. I don't want retextures of bosses like intermediate did with some of theirs, I want enemies with gimmicks and unique abilities. Also, I want more enemies to fit the theme, I like fallens and the fallen guardians, but the other enemies in fallen mode are just your regular enemies you can find in every other gamemode. I like things such as the vindicator and soul stealer because they fit hardcore's theme so well. If we could get enemies like those who have amazing designs and gimmicks it would make TDS so much more aesthetically pleasing and unique. Also please just make molten and fallen hard also the special gamemodes aren't even that hard either especially pizza party... 5. My current opinions are TDS is a great game, and in my opinion the best TD on roblox. It's super high quality and they make most things free instead of locking them behind paywalls (Phantom skins, deluxe crates, towers) which is actually amazing, as well has NO DUPES IN CRATES OH MY GOD TDS THANK YOU AND NO GAMBLING FOR TOWERS I LOVE YOU TDS... They also make grinding easier with updates like the quest update and challenge maps, making grinding actually fun. Of course it's rough around the edges, all games aren't perfect, and I do believe TDS needs to stop weekly updates and focus on bigger and more high quality updates all packed in one instead of small individual updates that have tons of bugs or sometimes feel to hard to live up to expectations. I also think towers like the dj need more skins, but I understand how hard it is to do that since you need to create full songs. I also think TDS should collab more with other games like TDX and TB, but also battle cats because neko dj is amazing and I wish she would get reworked with a fresh design and PLEASE I want songs like All for you from the TDX TB EDJ lyrics make everything better, but they still make amazing music even without lyrics. Also I do kinda wish the original Never Regret was used for neko dj because I love that song. Anyways please keep making cute skins like the baseball mortar, neko dj, and phantom toxic gunner they look so cool
Personal Opinion 1. I joined TDS around mid-2019, around SFOTH I am pretty sure (definitely after the first lobby is released) 2. No, due to the lack of actual content (not skins, towers, or features). 3. Lack of content & Hardcore being mid. 4. Summer event & like Sandbox mode or something where you can set cash, spawn whatever enemy you want, spawn as many towers without placement limit, etc (similar to Pixel Gun Tower Defense Sandbox mode). 5. TDS is a pretty cool tower defense game, it is my 2nd TD game before TB, and overall it is pretty good but once you are in the endgame, it gets boring.
My opinion: 1 joined on a diff acc during gladi Event then switcheds accs Tds is Fun sometimes when an Update drops Here we Go Update idea: ADD STORY MODE, weekly Levels with Marks wich u get towers from, maby a solo Mode an a Team mode. Opinions: add story mode
1. I first join TDS at my alt acc in about spring 2021 (the duck event) but then due to some problems with my Ipad, I quit it. Then at 2022 at the End of summer event, I rejoin the game as the main acc in my pc and after that, I started grind it. 2. It's so fun, especially when playing with ur friends. Because, u get to know what ur friends want to do in the game and sometimes commands it. 3. The biggest issues is that sometimes thw graphics is just too much. I lagged about 100 times since I started playing the game and it just getting worse. Sometimes, I randomly disconnected the game even though literally everything was perfectly fine. 4. I would want pvp mode to be back and a start button for the 1st player that enters the elevator in Survival mode or Hardcore mode incase u wanna solo or have enough players in the elevator. With this, elevator trolls and spamming "solo" or "duo" won't gonna be necessary anymore. 5. It's a really fun game to relax and sometimes grind stuff for fun although the graphics wasn't too good but it won't stop me from playing this game. Overrall: 8/10
Tds seems great especially with all these new features and bug fixes, but my memories from 2020-2022 will never be revived. My old friend group all quit tds and roblox as a whole, and moved onto other games. The old lobby hits different, and the towers, although they seem to be much more polished, just don't feel the same as the old towers like outlaw, john, and enforcer. Obviously these are all completely personal, and if you were a new player, you would enjoy this game just as much as I did. But yeah, old is gold.
i miss that too, Sure we have tds legacy and overhaul (neither modded versions where u actually gotta grind for it), it doesn’t hit the same even for tds overture given that’s not the same
@@ShadowChaosYT it’s definitely not the same. Like I said, my old friend group quit Roblox now (we’re still friends, they just play different games now like Valorant). I played tds legacy before, I played it with my current friend group that plays Roblox (I am level 50 in tds:l and I have turret), but 1) that game is like dead now and 2) the memories will never be relived.
@@janeyarnold5483 yeah, the current state of the game is better but old players like us are gone now, it’s too late for them to make a comeback. They are trying their hardest tho
Old tds was good times while it lasted 🥺. Even though I was a complete noob starting out, I kinda enjoyed it and the frost invasion was actually fun. I actually remember how it went and everything, although we lost and I couldn’t get sledger.
Yo Elite i only have obe proposition and it would be cool if tds used a modifier type of thing to increase or decrease ifficulty as well as rewards so it would be something like this: Positive modifers: Less mobs: -15% coins Easier mobs (less hp) -10% Negative modiers More enemies: +15% coins Harder enemies (more hp): +10% coins Etc. It could be a cool thing if tds devs would put work into that. Plus it would change the game up more
@@trickygamer555 well tds could have this too especially bc it would make the game both more beginner friendly and great to farm for later gold crates etc
1. 2019, Gladiator Event. I couldnt beat it, but i beat Area 51. 2. TDS is fun, the constant powercreep keeps the game enjoyable because you have to get more strategic if there were heavy nerfs/buffs on a character. The only thing thats ruining tds for me is the farm for golden skins. 3. Bugs, and probably the fact we lack pvp mode. 4. A Commando Rework (this guy is so ass rn), PVP Mode, cost reduction to 30k for golden skin crates. 5. The Best Tower Defense Game, One Of My Favourites.
tds should add a mode creator where you can put your own enemies inside and publish your own gamemode for the people to play it, along side with sandbox mode
1. I joined in 2020 when I heard about it 2. It’s fun because of strategy and has grinding to it,it also is a daily grind 3. It would be because of the hard modes like polluted wastelands 2 and hardcore, its too hard for 80% of the tds community 4. If I was in charge of the next update I would buff lvl 1 and 0 militant for better fire rate and make warden cost 800 instead of needing 1000 to place it down 5. My current opinion on it is very good, they put some effort into the game and I highly suggest to play it if you didn’t,also I like the game more then anything,it’s my daily and I like having hard modes and not needing st (special towers) And yeah that’s the review!
1. I joinned tds near to the end of the Halloween event (the one before frost invasion) but only really played during frost invasion 2. yea tds is very fun like I still have a ton of stuff to grind for like hc and g crate + the more frequent updates help the game not feel too boring 3. after awhile you can only really grind for hc and g crate which is good since you have 1 goal but after grinding everything then there is nothing to do 4. Honestly take inspiration from btd6 like monthly boss( like lych ) if you beat the boss you can get coins / gems 5. MAKE HC REWARD MORE GEMS WHEN YOU BEAT IT
What I'd wish they'd add is like crazy lag reduction. By that I mean disabling effects or animations. Corso mentioned he'd love MEGA severs, but the problem with that would be lag, so they'd need to add this anyway.
1. I joined around 2020, when the egg hunt was taking place, swarmer being my first event tower I unlocked 2. I wouldn’t say TDS is boring, but I wouldn’t say it is fun. I personally think that despite some of the various modes of TDS, some of them have no replay value like hardcore or polluted wasteland 2, compared to other modes like pizza party or fallen giving more replay and tower variety usage. I feel like decreasing the difficulty of the first two modes would help make TDS more fun to play by giving these two modes more variety in how to beat them instead of needing a strategy. I do think that inclusion of tower nerfs despite the bad taste it gives, is not a bad idea since it gives the game variety in some way and changes the meta so that we don’t keep using the same 10 towers, though some balance changes I still find questionable. 3. As of now, I feel like the biggest issues might have to be the balancing. Even though a lot of the towers have been reworked, they still get outclassed by many towers that make them not worth using. Not to mention the hardcore towers (and necromancer), like how is the most expensive hardcore tower (engineer) outclassed by the cheapest hardcore tower (Brawler) 4. I personally enjoyed the night based system that the Solar Eclipse update had and I wish they did something similar. I know they kinda messed it up last Halloween but I personally enjoy the night based system. It would be interesting if they did an update where all the holidays collided (Jack o Bot, Krampus, ducky doom, etc) all came together like the solar eclipse event like they came for revenge on the player, with the final night being you needing the face all of them one last time. 5. At the moment, I still enjoy playing TDS every now and then, but I don’t grind it as much as I did back in like 2021. I personally think that the game is kinda bland right now, with things like having all the towers and stuff makes the game not worth playing. I also think that monetization has become too normalized in TDS, with things like a lot of new skins being locked behind a deluxe crate.
1. I started playing Tower Defense Simulator all the way back in 2019 and even before the gladiator event was released. Fun fact, I actually met a developer (Zefeated) who was working on the game and introduced me to some of the stuff they were testing. 2. I still think the game can be fairly enjoyable. It's very simple and can be easy to get into. I especially like the missions for skins and challenges for perks and gems since they add some more replayability and have some great rewards and wish for them to do some more stuff like this. Though the late game content could be a bit better. 3. Some bugs can completely screw over the experience. The balancing is a bit off. There's been quite a lot of power creep which kind of takes away from the challenging aspect with some towers being a bit overboard like the brawler and mercenary base and also taking away some niches from other towers. Hardcore is horribly grindy due to how restricting it is because of what kind of towers you will need, the matches would often take a very long time, often around 30 to 50 minutes on average, and it makes grinding for the gem towers pretty annoying. And hardcore mode is also outdated. 4. Some things that I would add or reintroduce are a sandbox mode for testing some stuff, and adding back the difficulty medals for maps to give an actual purpose to play the other gamemodes and other maps. I'm glad that they've been testing out PVP mode since it does add some more things to do outside of the current modes we have. 5. Even though I haven't enjoyed the game as much as I used to mostly due to the fact that I've done nearly everything. I still think the game is relatively stable despite its flaws and is one of the better Tower Defense games on Roblox and I hope that they keep taking TDS in the right direction.
This is pretty funny but Markiplier actually got me into tds in that one video where he played it and a bunch of other roblox games. I also feel like the devs should have a markiplier shrine just saying.
Ive always had this idea brewing in my head and i dont think that it can ever come to life but here it is: A pvp mode where the towers fight eachother, like a whole war-like mode. What happens is that you have access to all towers, and towers have health, like tdx. You can make towers go wherever you want, you can group them up, you can make them faster or slower, all that stuff. You can also use vehicles to move towers together and give them height or protection while theyre shooting, like a tank, a helicopter with whatever tower you want as the shooter, an aircraft carrier, and more. A big problem with that is that it could get extremely laggy and the game would last long, but i'd like to see this is action someday.
1: After release of the game before gladiator event 2: it is fun because it has a lot to do for begining and for mid playthrough but lack of content for late game 3: biggest issues is bugs 4: I would add tover evolutions bc it offers players to grind for two things at same time like while grinding for next evolution you will also grind for golden creates etc. 5: it is solid game , people can play it solo or with their friends, but it becomes boring after some time like fact of have to play and do same thing over and over and over to get golden creates is making me feel bored easly while playing
1:I joined TDS in mid 2019 at the Halloween event 2: no, it's very repetitive 3: bugs and difficulty in getting coins to progress to all golden skins 4: a new difficulty, new troops and new methods of earning currency 5: the game is good because it has several updates but it could come with fewer bugs and more things like 2 troops per update or even 2 troop reworks (I really want to rework the paintballer)
1. I played tds when the gladiator event started but sadly i lost my account. 2. I honestly think it’s meh, because of the amount of grinding you need to do. 3. Removing the 6 players in a game ( i forgot the name) and the grinding. 4. Reduce the grinding and add the og parties back. (6 players in a game) 5. Best TD games in roblox as of right now. Really high quality towers. It’s cool.
1. Spring 2020, around the easter event, thought only really got into tds on the frost invasion event. 2. No, it might be because i allready finished most of the content. 3. Filler, especially in the late game, by the time you reach level 100 you quite litteraly have nothing but to grind pizza party or fallen for gold skins, and maybe weekly quests as well as hardcore towers if you didint spend 15 hours minimum on the mode. 4. A total revamp of hardcore, right now gems are super slow to get so it should also give more gems in general, it can also bring a ton of new enemies with unique gimmicks to keep you and your team on your toes, ill make grinding gems much more enjoyable while shortening the ammount of grinding needed by at least a little bit 5. I think tds is going in the right direction, especially since one of the main developers want to make the game more enjoyable by adding unique content, but i still think that the attention to the late game or competitive TDS is still lacking
@@sentrytdstds was great till the hardcore update bucko eversince then the events were complete lacklusters on release and had a day of content at max honestly even shit like that annoying toilet game offers more content at this point and i know that without even touching the game only for the classic event
1: I initially joined during the Halloween event that lasted way too long with the whole “tower delay simulator” thing but the fact it was the Halloween event at some point after Christmas was silly so I quit, though my brother did drag me back during the frost event. 2: I’d say, thanks to the matching system, it’s a really good game to just jump into a fallen game or a pizza party game, the thing that stopped me from playing the game more the the whole “elevator” system which was a cool concept but now it’s just tedious in games that lack the matching system. 3: The grind, that is the second thing that put me off when I initially started playing tds, I didn’t want to grind molten over and over again in order to get minigunner to play the event and now I think my issue is I don’t want to play hardcore and grind for brawler, accelerator and engineer although the new challenges giving me gems will help with that. 4: I would make getting gems from hardcore ever so slightly easier, making it so a win in hardcore gives you a LOT of gems so it’s worth going all the way to the end, somewhere in the range you’d be able to get brawler in about two or three games and I’d make hardcore shorter, a game that lasts more than 30 minutes is ridiculous and hardcore lasts more than an hour, furthermore I’d add another tower to the small group of towers that cost gems, the hacker, he would start off hacking old military drones and having them start shooting the enemies, and as you upgrade them the drones become more expensive and powerful ending up with a MQ-9 reaper drone right at the max level, I would also adjust the prices making the order of least to most expensive being brawler, engineer, hacker and accelerator. 5: I’d say tds is the best tower defence game currently on roblox, unless JohnRoblox goes and massively improves TDX I don’t think tds can be beat.
1:2024😭 2 yes: it’s just one of the most fun and addictive games on Roblox and its easily to get hooked on to TDS 3: probably the lack of bigger updates 4: like corso said like a sand box and content creator skin crates and a mode where you have admin to spam any tower and any enemies 5: I like TDS it’s a really really fun game to play in your free time. Bye bye elite
1. I first played TDS in its prototype stages, when there was only 12 waves and the final boss being just a normal boss. IIRC, there was around 3-4 towers available at the time. Probably Scout and Soldier. The game was called something like: "tower battles but less laggy". Im not sure what year this took place, around 2019 or 2018. 2. I find it pretty fun. I play around with different loadouts on different maps on solo on fallen mode with consumables. Too be honest im not really sure what made it fun for me. 3. The abnormal amount of bugs in the game after the consumables update. I was playing a Polluted Wastelands round with my friends and we lost because the max Rangers are broken. 4. Rework the Commando. IMO he's the coolest tower available that isn't the War Machine 5. It's fine
1: I think 2020, around the end of the winter event with archer and frost blaster. 2: It depends on the player. For new players, it's probably really fun since the game doesn't require huge skill. For high level players, it isn't as fun since it feels like there's nothing worth playing the game for. There's no challenge. 3: TDS has no theme, and just feels dull. It just feels like you place down towers, win, repeat, like an endless cycle. You play on the same maps over and over. The thing that makes events fun is the theme they bring, but who knows when that will be. The game also feels like it's trying to be modern in a way, which makes it more dull. All towers feel the same as well since there's no mechanic to separate them, just statistics like damage, firerate, range, and cost. 4: I'd add some content that appeals to older players with nothing left to do. I'd add things like hidden wave, and I'd give the game some sort of theme, even if it's just as simple as changing the lobby. I might add some sort of mechanic to make each tower feel more unique, whatever that might be. I'd try and make it so each tower has some sort of use, which isn't the case for many towers currently. I'd also add in some sort of adventure/endless mode. 5: My current opinions on TDS is that it simply isn't fun for older players. It's like a different game, evolving to fit the dullness of many monetized Roblox games out there. I still haven't even won intermediate mode since it's almost completely like the rest of the modes, dull and boring. TDX finds many new game mechanics to add in. It doesn't feel to overwhelming, and instead adds to the strategic feel of the game. TDS then adds in that feature, but dulls it down. TDX nuke: 4 million damage. TDS nuke: 40k damage. See my point? I know this vid is a bit old, but those are my answers.
Personal opinion. Q1: For me i joined after the solar eclipse event. Q2: tds is a very fun game, in grinding, strategys, very beginner friendly of course. Q3: the problem from me is that the hardcore’s system, it needs a remake like badlands, polluted wastelands, and easy mode, hardcore needs a strat to win and some maps in hardcore is very unfair to play like cyber city for the phantom commander quest, and the solo strats are mostly hard to do. Q4: if i were to make a update or be head dev of the update, i’d make a mega mode like tdx’s endless mode, how it worked is like easy mode molten mode and fallen modes enemies till wave 10 and 11 to 39 is all three modes plus hardcore badlands and polluted wastelands enemies and in wave 40+ would be the same but each 15 waves would be a boss and after all bosses from each mode soawned they’ll spawn again but more buffed, and event bosses will spawn aswell, the rewards are very good. Q5: tds is getting updates and bug fixes every since 2023 October, but its getting boring, just get accelerator, golden-minigunner, dj-booth, commander, then the modes are just a joke for you,
Nobody asked but ill answer everything 1: 3 days after release after my brother showed me the game 2: the simple cartoony design and worthy grind 3: Late game content and lack of updates / repetitive and bad updates 4: lower cost price of high level towers and try shortening every mode while making it harder, new unique mode with unique content but still sticking to tower defense genre, more towers and fresh events 5: As a level 400 the whole game got repetitive with nothing to do except wait for a holiday event every couple of months and not be bothered to get all new limited skins, i used to care about skins alot getting EVERY new skin and tower. Now i don’t even try getting them as it takes hours of my life to just not play the game again for 3 months. But last of all it’s my opinion and tds has been and will be deep in my heart with a ton of good memories!
Honestly the opinions are fair i can agree its fun but late game does get boring when you have everything.. thats kinda why at first i only played when tds updated but now days i do play before theres any update because the content is more than 2021 - 2022 tds time now 2023-2024 has had massive improvements. So i hope the next updates are big and make tds even more fun! So i think its a good idea to stick around tds for any new or late game players since the devs are cooking and you have to realise we have an amazing and caring dev team which try their best to hear our opinions and try to make tds better with how much feedback we give them!
1. I joined TDS during Trick or Threat Town, around the time of the pandemic. 2. TDS can be a fun game. It's easy to pick up, with a skill ceiling that gives a sense of accomplishment at the lowest or highest levels. The most fun I have is with the event matches, simply put, (usually) challenging, balanced, and requires just enough strategy and communication with other players to triumph. 3.TDS's biggest issue for me is a two-part thing, as I can't choose one over the other. The first is the recent addition of items and the lootboxes you obtain them from. This became especially apparent with the challenge map "Back to Basics" where items were not just necessary, but mandatory to triumph. It left a very, very bitter taste in my mouth trying to do that mission without anything, and has me worried for future balancing in the main gamemodes. The second issue I have is the recent reworks of towers, attempting to give them more of an identity amongst each other, or to allow some competition between one option and the other. By and large it often feels like some of the other towers have been getting nerfed since they started, and this came to a head with Commander, attempting to remove the ability to CtA, decreasing range, and adding an ultimately weird ability for spawning in a convoy like a summoner tower. The proposed trade-off was simply not enough to balance the change they were trying to make, and it upset me most, believing that they'd bury the old CtA chain in the ground, but let it hardly reflect back on the main game, and especially its event matches. I understand every tower should have its niche, but sometimes I feel they approach the idea only to reduce something's usefulness to encourage variety, which cheapens the idea of a rebalance at all. 4. If I could have anything I ever wanted added as the next TDS update, I'd allow the ability for newer players to replay event matches for event towers, currency, skin crates, emotes, and titles. Some of the team's best work, in my opinion, was with events like Frost Invasion and with the recent Krampus fight. Furthermore, I'm not a fan of making towers exclusively available only through gamepasses, and think that being able to redo event matches (likely tweaked for modern meta to maintain their original feel) would be very fun and help cement the game's longevity in a growing playerbase. I'd also, as said multiple times, add in the PvP again and continue to work on it to allow something new and fresh between the standard and event modes. 5. TDS has definitely had highs and lows, in the years I've been playing it. From peak events like Frost Invasion and Solar Eclipse, to the rushed, unbalanced, broken feel of Act 3 from Lunar Overture. Still, with the introduction of Intermediate Mode, and, minus most of my recent gripes, new towers, balances, and challenges that generally keep the game fun and engaging, TDS is still going places, standing tall amongst its competitors. I do always recommend some people bored with TDS check out games like TDX or Paradigm-Shift Tower Defense for their crazy ideas, but TDS will always draw me back in whenever a new event releases. It's definitely one of the better games on the platform, and its obvious the team is listening to its players and trying to give them the perfect game they can play forever.
1: I joined TDS in 2021 near the end of the duck hunt event. I did not really get to play and grind too much at that time and I also did not win the event, but I still had fun. 2: I think Tds is fun. Yes, it gets repetetive, but the challenges and upcoming updates already sseem promising. With many new towers and things to grind for being added, I think it's fair to say that TDS is not losing its charm too quickly. It may be missing some things that I personally really want to see in the game, but honestly, the grind makes TDS fun. 3: Some of the biggest issues of TDS are, of course, the bugs, as well as the grind. Some things in TDS take very long to get, just to end up not being that good. This also takes the aspects of balancing into perspective. There are a lot of unbalanced towers in TDS that need a rebalance or rework. This also includes some of the golden skins. For the golden skins, I am mostly looking at pyro. After the pierce cap, it just got a lot worse, all while pyro wasn't too good to begin with. All in all, balancing, bugs and the grind are some of the bigest issues that I see in TDS. 4: For the next update, I would love to see the golden skins getting replaced. There already is an evolution concept, and I think it is much better than the golden skins, as long as the people who bought golden skins get a replacement, like getting the evos instantly. I would also love to see more gamemodes and especially, a hardcore rework. Hardcore is one of the most outdated modes, if not THE most outdated mode in TDS, I think a little refresh can't hurt. I would also love to see more towers to have more variety while playing. I would also LOVE to see more events. Even if it is just another battlepass. I want something to grind for that is not just the golden skins. 5: My current opinion on TDS is that it is taking a big step in the right direction. There is still a lot of work to do, but the devs have been releasing pretty good updates lately and I am excited to see more of it. That is all I have to say, probably the longest comment I have written so far.
1 - Right after the Solar Eclipse event (during the Valentines 2022 pass). I'm very late to the party. 2 - I like the satisfaction of being able to simply place towers and let them do the work for you, and for me this especially applies to units. 3 - The game is too easy, especially hardcore, and imo the reason for that is because the overall difficulty of enemies hasn't been changed much when compared to towers. 4 - Being able to make your own gamemodes with modified enemy HP and modifiers (like mutation and lost souls) and modified towers (ahem, Photon's modified towers videos). A bit like being able to play other player's levels in Geometry Dash, imagine being able to do the same in TDS. This would keep the game fresh without being that reliant on big/consistent updates. 5 - Besides being buggy, there's simply not enough late game content atm, especially with gamemodes.
1.i joined on 2021 solar eclipse 2.Tds is a fun game and what makes it fun is all the animations and bosses and challenges are cool. 3.Tbh i dont have that many issues on the games but one thing is like im a moblie player sometimes i get disconnected and they have the rejoin button but when i go to lobby it doesn't show. 4.the next update that i would add in tds will be trading ik it might be a bad idea but you could trade crates, coin, gems tower. 5. My current opinion on tds its fun but like you know when you get every tower it get boring but overall tds is a fun game and developers are cooking.
1 - When did you Joined TDS? In February of 2020 2 - Is TDS Fun? Depends Why? I think the fun decreases when you progress more in the game 3 - What are TDS biggest issues? Not knowing how to keep the community entertained 4 - If you made the next update, what would it be? Sandbox mode or Gamemode Maker 5 - What are your current opinions. TDS is going in the right way but i think they need to do an update every 2 weeks or 3 weeks
1. 2022 , i joined during the pizza party event from a video made by propellars. 2. TDS is fun because it gives you the need to complete everything and when you lose the Commander quite literally encourages you to keep trying. 3. I feel like elevator trolls are the worst. It sucks when they just leave and youre tryna beat infernal abyss. 4. If I would add something. It would be custom gamemodes. Basically , you take enemies that exist. Change their health and speed or something like that. Make the name for the gamemode and publish it. It would be a great way to keep the player base. And as a bonus you’ll get to choose the amount of coins as a reward! 150-1950. 5. I think tds is quite a great game which has a lot of love and passion. But sometimes it’s really hard like the Halloween event 2023 act 3 and the classic event mission three.
1. Joined tds because it was one of the new games in the late 2000s 2. TDS is ok. However, it isn't as action packed like games where you have to take action, it's just placing towers and grinding to be the best 3. Mainly the lack of content and grinding. I only have half of the hardcore towers, and even with the strategies, I just don't feel like I have the need to grind considering other games that have far more interesting updates/events 4. I would add a sort of progression gamemode. It's like an event, but maps are randomly chosen as you progress through Easy, Molten, Fallen, Pizza Party, Badlands 2, Polluted Wastelands 2, and Hardcore. By the time you get to the end, you'll get a massive reward of coins, gems and xp 5. I would say tds can definitely be improved with more action other than placing, upgrading, and selling towers
I’m gonna answer the biggest issue one. the progression. You hypothetically go from beating a coughing baby to a eldritch god who has destroyed universes and will again. (Fallen king to void) if they made fallen mode harder or somthing that’d be nice.
they should add modifiers to make the game more interesting like toy tower defence, also they should make so certain maps have a drop chance to give you a secret skin that would be very cool.
1. A little before the gladiator event. 2. Playing with friends, though solo is pretty fun too. The bosses are pretty memorable and aren't too bad for casual players and experienced alike 3. Oh boy...here we go: - Bloat [Ex. Adding more towers that do the same thing but better, endless ocean of skins nobody will use, maps that don't even give rewards or have unique gimmick] -Poor tower balancing. [Most of the event towers are great, but few weeks later get nerfed into being just a little above the line of being useless. Or, the other way it ends is the tower being immediately overshadowed by buffing another Or adding a new tower. Plus, why would you use a tower when the already overpowered one such as Accelerator and the golden exist and do just fine by themselves? There's no motive to try the other towers whatsoever. Some years pass by as people forget the tower even existed and suddenly it gets a shadownerf to assure nobody even bothers using it. What a great reward for beating a challenging event.] -Optimization issues [Mainly the lobby is awful, especially in bigger servers], it takes a good while to load on lower end devices. 4. Make the lobby smaller and less detailed. buff event towers alongside making the earlier progression towers more useful in some way, most likely just remove golden towers and make the golden perk the default stats. Hidden wave getting readded and lastly an entire hardcore overhaul. 5. The game isn't really fun, nor challenging, nor even gives any goals for someone who's got nearly everything in the game like me. Close to no reason to play other than to check out whats up and just duo hardcore for the billionth time because its sort of nostalgic being reminded of when i came back to tds in 2021 after a hiatus. Conclusion: Im not interested in the game whatsoever, but its fun to hear what different players have to say about the game.
1. When did you join TDS? Me: since 2020 then quit and then joined back in 2024 2. Is TDS fun? Why? Me: Yes, because yes. 3. What are TDS's biggest issues? Me: Probably tower balancing because the beginner towers like scout is almost better than paintballer and you need to buy paintballer unlike scout that it's free 4. If you made the next update, what would it be? Me: Custom match with custom modifiers like 2x enemies health and you get like 10% more coins than usual Enemies health became 20% lower and it reduce the reward by 10% 5. What are your current opinions? Me: yes.
1. I joined TDS in June 2019. I thanked John Roblox for leading me to that game. 2. It’s sorta fun if you’re ignoring the bug and inconsistency issues. There’s a lot to grind for. 3. It’s very buggy, the gamemodes are inconsistent, too much grinding, and mediocre tower designs. 4. Instead of TDS taking inspiration from/ripping off TB and TDX, it should focus on remaking the old style of TDS. Bringing back the old blue GUI for the tower slots, reworking Golden Mode, reworking Polluted Wastelands 1, and bringing back scrapped concepts and skins. 5. I stopped and quit playing TDS until they release an event or reworked gamemode.
They should make it that since every map has a difficulty, like for example if you beat an insane map, you can an extra amount of coins, to make the game less grindy. And please add infinite mode
1I joined about in the mascarade Halloween event 2 tds is very fun, I love how you can play for years every day, and still have stuff to do 3 the new updates are insane, but when new molten came out, it started lagging as much as it did like 6 months ago 4 I would just rebalance the fallen mode a little, and give more gems for hardcore 5 tds is my favorite Roblox game, and I love it. I’m very excited to see where it is going to go
Bro Johns comment was fire. My response to those questions are: 1)I joined in the slasher event but never got slasher 2)Meh its gotten more boring over the months with content with no meaning 3) Its content its got no got any meaning to it 4) Adding PvP, sandbox mode and a battle pass ( that's 100% free) to grind in the the months with no events to get crates, emotes and skins with a tower that can be unlocked at the end that can not be purchased. 5)It getting boring its content feels the same though i hope it doesn't die as it has potential
1: I joined nearly when the egg hunt 2020 event started. it was a pretty good exciting game for me back then but now it the game feels bland and boring. 2: honestly I think that TDS is a fun game for beginner's because there's a variety of towers to grind for and play lots of maps and multiplayer but being a somewhat of a professional TDS player I think that the game is too grindy and repetitive the game becomes boring after playing around 50-100 matches because its so easy 3: TDS biggest issues I would say is that you can legit AFK hardcore mode. the game modes are way too easy such as easy-fallen and also the amount of bugs that are in TDS. 4: I would pretty much listen to what the community wants to add to the game but to summarize it I would add, a new game for TDS community maps sort of similar to Flood Escape 2 Community Maps, I would also add sandbox mode to really make players have fun and enjoy experimenting with a lot of towers and zombies, To make the Gamemodes more fun in TDS I would add more Gamemodes and so you can also use specific towers to win that Gamemode because people can just bring the best towers in the game like engineer and accelerator to easily win the game. and another idea is give the Gamemodes better rewards! its to grindy and hard to obtain the golden crate 5 times. as Corso said in the video I don't think that ANYONE would want to grind 75+ hours to get buff on only 6 towers. Last but not least I would bring back a system like the platinum crates, instead there could be Bronze Crate, Silver Crate, And finally Golden Crate, and maybe better crates after. I could go on forever about updates for this game to make it more fun for players. 5: as I said in said in #1&2 as if before the game was fun because they had features like, Mega Servers, PVP, and so much more, but now the game is pretty bland and boring as if now the updates are just basically the same thing but for different towers. I do really think that it definitely will improve over time it just will talk a little while. I appreciate the game developers though for making a nice game and working on it for a whopping almost 6 years! but in conclusion, The game is not really fun but ideas of what I mentioned here would improve the game, but yes overall I have hope for the game in the future :D (sorry for yapping)
1. I joined tds on late frost invasion, after looking around i left 2. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of td games but tds is kinda good and beginner friendly after the tutorial update 3. Bugs, filler, community saying is delayed and when a strat is very good and simple devs try to nerf the towers that needed 4. Bring back gladiator event, sandbox mode and custom challenges just like btd6 5. Great game, just make it more fun
1: I joined during the frost invasion, played 2 games on molten. Then stopped playing, but actually start playing the game when the duck hunt event started. 2: It is fun for starters and new players to the tower defense genre, because of the simplicity and the multiplayer is way better then the one in Bloons tower defense, since the loadout mechanic makes it that everyone have different towers instead of having all of them. 3: Bugs. 4: New gamemodes, faster grinding, pvp, challenges and a campaign that gives better rewards on first triumph and better rewards then the basic difficulty. 5: TDS got a lot better since the overhaul update. Even if I transfered to TDX, I can still say that TDS is coming back from a lot of errors.
Not gonna lie, In my opinion the game is fun because you can challenge yourself, like propellars finished every map, elite did one tower each game, golden towers only, john roblox abusing admin, you have a ton of stuff to challenge yourself, beat every gamemode, and other stuff.
1. I joined TDS in the Frost Invasion Event (2020-2021) 2. I would say its fun, like theres nothing too difficult but too easy. It’s really beginner friendly and I like that. 3. The awful casualties you need have to go through. Grinding is not the best thing but to my 2021 brain, it didnt feel so bad. 4. Probably would add Quality of Life changes like reworking some towers like Sledger. He was the first event tower I have ever gotten and i’m not that proud of his current state. He’s basically a melee tower with a bit of freezing. He can do high DPS, but his main appeal is his support, which isn’t there anymore. 5. I think its fine! I do want bugs and more things to be added like most of the community, but the current state is not too bad. New towers are really nice too, it adds more new combos of towers to try out.
My opinions: 1. I joined a little after the recent winter event 2. Tds is fun for me because when grinding, because it takes a long time it feels more rewarding when you get it 3. The biggest issue is easily the horrible lag you experience when in late game 4. If I made then next update I'd focus on trying to add more things to do like a new gamemode that isn't completely unbalanced but I think it should be hard and have a tower reward because it would have new and older players have a new thing to get to do! 5. Tds is a decently fun game, takes a long time to get bored for me, but definitely needs more towers and a work on less lag especially for mobile players like me. Edit: if you fully read this, thank you for seeing another person's opinion and I want to here what you think about my opinions!
Honestly i agree with propellars.. But id would say that the toxicity can be applied to the whole TD community in roblox.. Ever since TDX appeared as a competitor the 'civil wars' between fans are insane.. And whats even funnier that these meaningless arguments are fought over personal opinions.. Honestly i respect both of the games but yall must accept the fact that both games have flaws..
1) I joined TDS in early January 2021, as my first tower defense game (it caused my crippling tower defense addiction). 2) Yes, but the player actually has to be creative, instead of simply the modes being enjoyable. This is due to: 3) The game is simply too easy. There is no challenge if you are a late gam player, and all of the modes just need raw DPS, without any gimmicks. The only changing factor between modes is just how much health, speed, and immunities the enemies have (which immunities are boring because they just weaken your towers or restrict you from using certain ones). This results in the game being insanely stale due to lack of variety. 4) Sandbox mode, revamp Hardcore (not mentioning Molten and Fallen because it's already announced), and generally more content for the players that aren't towers, like gamemodes. Also, the game needs to be made harder in most aspects. This pretty much means to balance most of the towers, and try to avoid power creep as much as possible. 5) It's a fun game, but the players need to fetch for the enjoyment in the game later on. More consistent updates is definitely on the right path, but they're being rushed too much. Bi-weekly or monthly, higher scale updates would be much better.
1. 2019, during the gladiator event 2. Personally I find it fun and unfun at most times. Fun because there are many unique towers and build you can do. Unfun because the grind feels unnecessary and most people don’t even know how to even listen. 3. Biggest issue would have to be the endgame grind/content. There’s not many options for an endgame grind especially when I, myself, have already have most of the towers, is a lvl 475, and the daily quest rewards are mediocre low. 4. It would be making separate gamemodes that can give out from the previous events. Examples like the gladiator event or the commando. I like games where it gives everyone a fair advantage and experience older towers. And yes for the people who beaten the previous events they will get something in return. 5. My opinions right now is that they’re heading towards a better future. With last 2 years it has been slow as hell and barely any content from those last 2 years. The events from the past are great don’t get me wrong, but it felt dry when I was playing TDS.
I joined In december 2023 TDS CAN be fun, but until any new events or crates or seasonal things come out, it’s the same, somewhat boring and flat grinding process TDS’s biggest issues are definitely what i mentioned above, it can feel too grindy and repetitive, as well as the rewards for simply playing. I know it takes a while to produce towers, but i’m level 224, and i think there should be some sort of coin or gem reward for every few levels you get. If i made the next update, i’d add the option to sort of revert to an old update. not anything special like events, but things like being able to revert the HUD/UI to a previous update, but only for the user. This would probably work as a game pass. My current opinions on TDS are that A. It feels flat and dry, even though i do think it is the best tower defense game, it feels (again), too repetitive. B. Not sure how this could be fixed at all, but getting toxic teammates and/or “noobs” can be annoying. for example, i was matchmaking into a pw2 game earlier today and got a level 38 teammate who was carelessly placing towers and not leaving room for our teams major dps. i understand that this is a new player and would most likely not understand the tower placing fundamentals, but id like to have a matchmaking option so that you can choose what level your teammates are, like with the party system.
1: When did I join TDS? I joined on 2015 around that time I was still new and didn't really play it that much and always swap accounts 2: Is TDS fun? For me it is very fun, every time I join HC I make new friends and laugh a lot 3: What are TDS biggest Issues? I don't really see my issue except the fact that every time you click on a players loadout you only see scout and sniper 4: If you made the next update, what would it be? I'll bring back gladiator and make the event easier because, since every time I switch accounts I have to redo everything 5: What are your current opinions? I have no opinions
1. I joined tds around april fools 2022 2. I would say that tds is overall fun, especially with the pvp and challenges that they've been pumping out recently 3. I would say that the biggest issues of tds are its power creep, as there are many decent towers that are held back because their niche, such as rocketeer being reduced to a gimmicky and situational tower to be left to rot. 4. If I would've made the next update, it would be to rework paintballer (duh), rework all base game modes (normal, molten, fallen), rework hardcore, and adding an endless mode. 5. My current opinions on the game are that it has improved a lot, with it drastically increasing in quality, though it has some minor issues, such as the lack of endgame content, and the lack of variety in the meta.
1. i joined tds frost 21 update after metaverse champions event, then i started playing it because i would occationally see my friends playing it. (im better than them now) 2. idk, tds is pretty stale right now. 3. the lobby because its so huge and has so many irrelevant stuff it makes me lag especially with the amount of players in the lobby 4. probably more quests for better rewards that give coins and gems daily but like around 350 - 500 of it. 5. im fine with the game as it is right now the devs are cooking fr. i cant believe the game has reached this far and i still think tds is the best tower defense game on the platform
Personally i would add Making Maps where you can make your own maps and if you beat like a random amount of them you get a free skin for some random tower or something and sandbox mode would be a legit masterpiece
1:after the egg hunt (idk when it ended) 2:borring at the start but around the lvl 50 mark is when it gets fun 3:the grind for all the coin towers its just solo molten until u get mini and can beat pizza party 4:endless tdx showed that it can be very fun while still being hard 5:overall best td game on roblox if your more casual but if u have hours of free time tdx is better
1: 2021 frost event 2: Yes its very detailed and good 3: filler and mostly no other more challenge gamemodes 4: basically a come back to the old bosses and a sale for that tower from the original obtained. 5: Add more good features and gamode/maps/tower reworks
My answers When did you join TDS?: I joined in 2020, during the halloween 2020. Is TDS fun? Why?: Honestly, especially for new players yes it is fun, because it is beginner friendly, it is somehow satisfying, and it can have teamwork which makes it fun, lots of gamemodes and adventures that you can enjoy and experience. What are TDS’s biggest issues?: The biggest issue is bugs, it contains a lot of bugs and some unbalanced gamemodes. If you made the next update, what would it be?: I would balance hardcore, hardcore is really unbalanced at the moment which makes it not that enjoyable to play, and i would add sandbox mode, unlimited money and endless enemies coming out, stronger enemies and having more health, and add challenges, like earning only 50% of the cash, or enemies spawning with more health. What are your current opinions?: Honestly, TDS is actually kind of fun currently, especially for new players, at least they are working on new updates, and in my opinion TDS is the best tower defense game so far, at least you can play with friends and other players.
My own irrelevant take: 1. I joined during the summer of the Frost Invasion, a couple months before Solar Eclipse dropped in November. Nostalgic times... 2. I find TDS fun because the gameplay is satisfying for a person like me, who likes to adds input and watch as things react as a result. Place a certain tower on a certain map and get a certain result. Plus I love watching hordes of zombies getting mowed by miniguns, skeletons, and airplanes. 3. BUGS!!! Way too many bugs. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is certainly noticeable in almost every game I play as of recent. One that's been bothering me is a tower's range going to the map origin rather than beneath it when getting ready to place it. Additionally, the optimization could use some work, give more in-game graphics options, especially when a lot of unit summoners are being used. 4. Where do I begin... First off, I'd add a challenge editor like from BTD6, I would 100% love to see that story/adventure/progressive gamemode where you go up from Easy to Fallen, perhaps on pre-made maps that match the theme of the gamemode too. The map would transition now and again like it did with the Krampus event last year. I honestly don't care about PvP nearly as much as others, but I could still try and find fun in it. As long as early-game enemy spam is removed. Enemy spawning should be disabled until like, wave 4 at least. It can be hard to set a foundation or even find fun when the winning strat is just to spam normals the whole early game. Spamming enemies shouldn't be a mindless thing, it should be a thing to think about. Do I want to spend a good portion of money to sabotage the enemy and upgrade my cashdrops, or should I work on defenses? What stops the enemy from counterattacking as soon as I make a move, essentially creating a DEFCON 0 scenario? What kind of eco should I go for? Cowboy because it can shoot? Farm because it's simple? Or simply spam enemies and get increased rewards? I will admit that I never played much PvP, but PvP should be a game of wits, not simple mindless spam. This is the very reason I didn't play much PvP. 5. TDS has been doing outstanding, and it does some things better than it's competitors. It isn't Toilet Tower Defense. Animations and models are extremely well done. Gameplay remains fun through a whole match, unless you're strategy sucks and makes the round take forever. This is my problem with TDX. It feels really long and really repetitive, and prefers to challenge you with stronger hordes, rather than bossfights like TDS does. Intermediate mode certainly has similar aspects to general TDX gameplay, though it still remains fun because it still has bossfights.I will give my general opinion on all minibosses and final bosses. Easy Mode: Normal Bosses are super easy, but this is only because it is literally in the Easy mode. Necromancers don't have a bossfight like Normal Bosses, but they are usually surrounded by other enemies, checking how well you can handle crowds, and punishing you if you can't kill it before it breaches all your defenses. It can often mean instant death, or at the very least spending a lot of money scrambling to kill it if a Necromancer leaks. This normally isn't an issue in Easy mode however. The Slow Boss is strong and kind of a DPS check, but it still isn't too big of a threat, considering there are probably less than 10 of them the whole round. The Grave Digger is Easy Mode's final boss. It certainly wraps the gamemode up with a big, tough, and not too slow enemy. But if you play your cards right, which isn't even that hard, you can easily wipe it out. Molten Mode: Normal Bosses in Molten Mode are even easier, as you have more time to prepare. This is subject to change if/when Molten is remade. Necromancers, similarly, are easy due to their delayed debut. Slow Bosses, same story. Speedy Bosses are just fast Slow Bosses +200 health. Sort of a DPS check, but can easily be rivaled by stun towers. This should be fixed in later rebalances, giving Speedy Bosses their ice immunity back. The Molten Boss is tough, though not much faster than even the Grave Digger. While the health difference is huge, 15,000 to 70,000, his attacks are very lacking, consisting of a stomp, fireball, and summoning, which effectively heals him for a couple thousand health. Though usually any tower with a fast firerate can annihilate him, if you're playing a serious match. Intermediate Mode: The Ghoul is a tough DPS check that kills me more times than the final boss, though they do well as a common enemy later in the round. Necromancers are genuinely threatening in this mode. They're strong and always surrounded by a horde of zombies. They regen health, meaning that damage must be dealt constantly, and making them horrible if they leak. If it's not Ghouls that kill me, it's often Necromancers. The Living Experiment is relatively fast for how tanky it is, on top of healing nearby enemies. It has the same health as a slow boss, but moves I think nearly twice as fast, and later in the match, before the final boss spawns, they're also accompanied by the Bloated trait, which doubles health. The Failed Experiment is essentially a stronger Speedy Boss, though even that's saying something because it's basically the same thing with +200 more health. They aren't even all that strong when they do get the bloated modifier later because usually you've got some pretty strong towers, and they have no other resistances. Once again, it's a fast tanky enemy, it shouldn't be simply countered by a stunning tower. Patient Zero, while not too threatening, still kills me sometimes when I'm not taking the game seriously or paying attention to my abilities. Fallen Mode: Abnormal Bosses are slightly stronger normal bosses with a 30% defense modifier. They often times leak the first time around, though usually by the time more spawn, you should be able to take them out. Necromancers spawn nearly halfway through the whole round, usually meaning you've got a solid defense to counter it, making it not very threatening. Though the wave where 4 of them spawn can be dangerous. Giant Bosses aren't horrible. They're strong, and have a 40% defense, but they're SLOW. Usually just walking money really. Shadow Bosses are being mentioned because they are genuinely awful sometimes. Very fast, decent health, and hidden. A solid planned defense can take care of them, but if you forget to get good hidden detection on wave 24, you're game is over. Tanks are the biggest DPS checks in the whole game honestly. They aren't too bad if you have good damage and range, but they can very easily slip through the cracks. Or, you know, just freeze it and make it a free 6,000 cash. (This is still an issue with fast tanky enemies). Boomers are barely a boss. I just mention them because they stun nearby towers on death making them a bit of a threat if they stun the wrong tower at the wrong time. Wardens are tough, that's a fact, and their sweeping laser can be annoying to handle, though they're still barely any worse than a tank. Wave 37 is by far the most threatening Warden, because it's accompanied by 2- -Necromancer Bosses are very fast, very tanky, and have stun resistance. You're going to need pure DPS to take down these 14,000 health monsters that occasionally summon a couple 500 health skeletons. On wave 37 when there are two of them surrounding a Warden, it genuinely makes it the second hardest wave. Fallen Guardians are extremely tough, having identical health to the Necromancer Boss, but also having a powerful 80% defense. DPS and stuns if you have them, otherwise you'll never even get to so much as touch- -The Fallen King, a big, fast, and tanky boss. His attacks stun for a long time and can wipe out entire armies of units with one stomp. He's immune to stuns since he's a major boss, and he heals when he reaches half health and gets faster. A distanced and buffed army can usually handle him, but it can still be a very close game often times. I can't even imagine what he'll be like when they remake Fallen Mode.
I started playing at the end of the gladiator event never beat it sadly . i think its fun for the most part like mid game and early game but late game is just grinding and more grinding until you got all the gold skins Tds biggest issue is in my opinion are the useless updates like new skins or new maps or just nerfing my favorite towers . i would add a select section were you could select gamemodes like classic which is what we can play at the moment and pvp, sandbox , and Adventure mode with custom new bosses. i think the game currently is a little too grindy i would reduce the cost of the gatling gun to 0 coins because i think you should unlock it with just the levels but im alright with the rest of the game.
Elite I hope you see this I started to play tds in October 2020 I say an update that tds needs is that so you don’t get bored you pick which game mode but if you will you proceed to a harder mode and after a game it gives you a warning that says the mode includes these enemies so you can change your loadout
My opinion: 1. Around 2019-2020??? I have In my brain memories of sword fight event, but never playing it, and in these memories, sfoth was in frost invasion, so my memories is mixed. 2. Mixed opinions, it's fun to play with someone (I play with my friend and do fun challenges by now) but alone.... No. TDS is creating early-mid game content, while late game is stuck with golden crate grind and doing their own ideas to not die of boreness 3. I would say its weekly updates, once a month and an bigger update would be better, also lack of modes for late game. (difficult ones) 4. More fun gamemodes like pvp, adventure, and maybe an different place connected to TDS where you can create maps and challenges, and then you can upload these challenges in that place. 5. Lack of gamemodes for make players want to play the game, not just grindy boring gamemodes.
If I could make the next update, I would make it free to choose the speed in solos, and I would add a feature where you can choose modifiers and they impact your rewards. Like when you choose mutation you get like 25% more rewards.
I cannot believe you cut out my talking about the Among Us skin Elite how could you

Personal opinions and stuff
Tds is way more fun when you are on drugs
i mean you arent wrong
they should add drugs as consumables
@@snatch6129 I agree here

a story mode would be absolutely perfect for TDS and that would bring so many new players to the game. If anyone has played All star tower defense I think that the story mode could give you materials and such for beating it which you can use to upgrade your tower.
all star tower defense isnt really a good influence for a tower defense game (gambling) and i dont think story mode would do any good for tds maybe cutscenes for special gamemodes would be good but an entire storymode? nah
I love how much elite has changed his content over the years, at first (I think), he did those challenge/trolling videos, like the mecha base trolling one, then, during the burnout he did those weird little text to speech animations, later, he started doing those “drama”/ commentary with gameplay, very recently, checking out the updates and now something even more different
I love this channel bro ❤
I remember he used to make tds memes. Those text-to-speech video like you said, were absolutely funny and actually competed against LD’s tds vids
1. 2020, During the egghunt event, I played with my brother all the time back when we used to sneak into eachother's rooms at night and play roblox.

1. I joined TDS around mid-2019, around SFOTH I am pretty sure (definitely after the first lobby is released)

But yeah, old is gold.
i miss that too,
Sure we have tds legacy and overhaul (neither modded versions where u actually gotta grind for it), it doesn’t hit the same even for tds overture given that’s not the same
It sucked back then bro💀
@@ShadowChaosYT it’s definitely not the same. Like I said, my old friend group quit Roblox now (we’re still friends, they just play different games now like Valorant). Yo Elite i only have obe proposition and it would be cool if tds used a modifier type of thing to increase or decrease ifficulty as well as rewards so it would be something like this:
Positive modifers:
Less mobs: -15% coins
Easier mobs (less hp) -10%
Negative modiers
More enemies: +15% coins
Harder enemies (more hp): +10% coins
Etc.
It could be a cool thing if tds devs would put work into that. Plus it would change the game up more
Tower blitz has these kind of modifiers and lemme tell you it goes absolutely crazy beyond 2.00x modifier

That’s exactly what I want!
1. I joined in 2020 when I heard about it
2. It’s fun because of strategy and has grinding to it,it also is a daily grind
3. It would be because of the hard modes like polluted wastelands 2 and hardcore, its too hard for 80% of the tds community
4. If I was in charge of the next update I would buff lvl 1 and 0 militant for better fire rate and make warden cost 800 instead of needing 1000 to place it down
5. My current opinion on it is very good, they put some effort into the game and I highly suggest to play it if you didn’t,also I like the game more then anything,it’s my daily and I like having hard modes and not needing st (special towers)
And yeah that’s the review!
1. I joinned tds near to the end of the Halloween event (the one before frost invasion) but only really played during frost invasion
2. yea tds is very fun like I still have a ton of stuff to grind for like hc and g crate + the more frequent updates help the game not feel too boring
3. after awhile you can only really grind for hc and g crate which is good since you have 1 goal but after grinding everything then there is nothing to do
4. Honestly take inspiration from btd6 like monthly boss( like lych ) if you beat the boss you can get coins / gems
5. MAKE HC REWARD MORE GEMS WHEN YOU BEAT IT
we definitely need a part 2 of this, we need some more opinions (I think a 6th question wouldn't be a problem)
What I'd wish they'd add is like crazy lag reduction. By that I mean disabling effects or animations.
Corso mentioned he'd love MEGA severs, but the problem with that would be lag, so they'd need to add this anyway.
Yes
1. I joined around 2020, when the egg hunt was taking place, swarmer being my first event tower I unlocked
Not to mention the hardcore towers (and necromancer), like how is the most expensive hardcore tower (engineer) outclassed by the cheapest hardcore tower (Brawler)
Not the John leaving tds reference 💀
Ive always had this idea brewing in my head and i dont think that it can ever come to life but here it is:
A pvp mode where the towers fight eachother, like a whole war-like mode.
Woah Corso predicted the future about PVP :D
1: After release of the game before gladiator event
2: it is fun because it has a lot to do for begining and for mid playthrough but lack of content for late game
3: biggest issues is bugs
4: I would add tover evolutions bc it offers players to grind for two things at same time like while grinding for next evolution you will also grind for golden creates etc.
5: it is solid game , people can play it solo or with their friends, but it becomes boring after some time like fact of have to play and do same thing over and over and over to get golden creates is making me feel bored easly while playing

1. I played tds when the gladiator event started but sadly i lost my account.

4. A total revamp of hardcore, right now gems are super slow to get so it should also give more gems in general, it can also bring a ton of new enemies with unique gimmicks to keep you and your team on your toes, ill make grinding gems much more enjoyable while shortening the ammount of grinding needed by at least a little bit
5. I think tds is going in the right direction, especially since one of the main developers want to make the game more enjoyable by adding unique content, but i still think that the attention to the late game or competitive TDS is still lacking

W content but John can use some more screen time

hi!

Q5: tds is getting updates and bug fixes every since 2023 October, but its getting boring, just get accelerator, golden-minigunner, dj-booth, commander, then the modes are just a joke for you,
Nobody asked but ill answer everything
1: 3 days after release after my brother showed me the game
2: the simple cartoony design and worthy grind
3: Late game content and lack of updates / repetitive and bad updates
4: lower cost price of high level towers and try shortening every mode while making it harder, new unique mode with unique content but still sticking to tower defense genre, more towers and fresh events
5: As a level 400 the whole game got repetitive with nothing to do except wait for a holiday event every couple of months and not be bothered to get all new limited skins, i used to care about skins alot getting EVERY new skin and tower.
The best answer for “what makes tds fun” is friends you make on your way, even its an tower defense game…
a campaign for tds would be insane
I agree with Corso with the mega lobby! I really miss how you can play with way more people that would make tds way more fun!
Imagine if TDS had a challenge editor similar to btd6. Community made puzzles could be cool
the btd6 challenge editor is already really sadistic nah not mine
1.i joined on 2021 solar eclipse
2.Tds is a fun game and what makes it fun is all the animations and bosses and challenges are cool.
5. My current opinion on tds its fun but like you know when you get every tower it get boring but overall tds is a fun game and developers are cooking.
they should add endless mode cuz i played ttd for like 5 hours and only ONE thing caught my attention sooooo badly it was endless mode
1 - When did you Joined TDS? In February of 2020
2 - Is TDS Fun? Depends Why? I think the fun decreases when you progress more in the game
3 - What are TDS biggest issues? Not knowing how to keep the community entertained
4 - If you made the next update, what would it be? Sandbox mode or Gamemode Maker
5 - What are your current opinions.
1. Joined tds because it was one of the new games in the late 2000s
2. TDS is ok. However, it isn't as action packed like games where you have to take action, it's just placing towers and grinding to be the best
3. Mainly the lack of content and grinding. I only have half of the hardcore towers, and even with the strategies, I just don't feel like I have the need to grind considering other games that have far more interesting updates/events
4. I would add a sort of progression gamemode. It's like an event, but maps are randomly chosen as you progress through Easy, Molten, Fallen, Pizza Party, Badlands 2, Polluted Wastelands 2, and Hardcore. By the time you get to the end, you'll get a massive reward of coins, gems and xp
5. I would say tds can definitely be improved with more action other than placing, upgrading, and selling towers
love how elite is asking questions and paying attention to the answers........ but is also playing the game in the background🤑
The bosses are pretty memorable and aren't too bad for casual players and experienced alike
3. Oh boy...here we go:
- Bloat
[Ex. Adding more towers that do the same thing but better, endless ocean of skins nobody will use, maps that don't even give rewards or have unique gimmick]
-Poor tower balancing. What a great reward for beating a challenging event.]
-Optimization issues [Mainly the lobby is awful, especially in bigger servers], it takes a good while to load on lower end devices.
Me: since 2020 then quit and then joined back in 2024
2. Is TDS fun? Why?
Me: Yes, because yes.
3. What are TDS's biggest issues?
Me: Probably tower balancing because the beginner towers like scout is almost better than paintballer and you need to buy paintballer unlike scout that it's free
4. If you made the next update, what would it be?
Me: Custom match with custom modifiers like 2x enemies health and you get like 10% more coins than usual
Enemies health became 20% lower and it reduce the reward by 10%
1I joined about in the mascarade Halloween event
2 tds is very fun, I love how you can play for years every day, and still have stuff to do
3 the new updates are insane, but when new molten came out, it started lagging as much as it did like 6 months ago
4 I would just rebalance the fallen mode a little, and give more gems for hardcore
5 tds is my favorite Roblox game, and I love it. I’m very excited to see where it is going to go
Bro Johns comment was fire. My response to those questions are:
1)I joined in the slasher event but never got slasher
2)Meh its gotten more boring over the months with content with no meaning
3) Its content its got no got any meaning to it
4) Adding PvP, sandbox mode and a battle pass ( that's 100% free) to grind in the the months with no events to get crates, emotes and skins with a tower that can be unlocked at the end that can not be purchased.
5)It getting boring its content feels the same though i hope it doesn't die as it has potential
1: I joined nearly when the egg hunt 2020 event started. it was a pretty good exciting game for me back then but now it the game feels bland and boring.
2: honestly I think that TDS is a fun game for beginner's because there's a variety of towers to grind for and play lots of maps and multiplayer but being a somewhat of a professional TDS player I think that the game is too grindy and repetitive the game becomes boring after playing around 50-100 matches because its so easy
3: TDS biggest issues I would say is that you can legit AFK hardcore mode. the game modes are way too easy such as easy-fallen and also the amount of bugs that are in TDS.
I appreciate the game developers though for making a nice game and working on it for a whopping almost 6 years! but in conclusion, The game is not really fun but ideas of what I mentioned here would improve the game, but yes overall I have hope for the game in the future :D
(sorry for yapping)
1. I joined tds on late frost invasion, after looking around i left
2. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of td games but tds is kinda good and beginner friendly after the tutorial update
3. Bugs, filler, community saying is delayed and when a strat is very good and simple devs try to nerf the towers that needed
4. Bring back gladiator event, sandbox mode and custom challenges just like btd6
1. I joined TDS in the Frost Invasion Event (2020-2021)
My opinions:
1. I joined a little after the recent winter event
2. Tds is fun for me because when grinding, because it takes a long time it feels more rewarding when you get it
3. The biggest issue is easily the horrible lag you experience when in late game
This is due to:
3) The game is simply too easy.
1. 2019, during the gladiator event
I joined In december 2023
TDS CAN be fun, but until any new events or crates or seasonal things come out, it’s the same, somewhat boring and flat grinding process
TDS’s biggest issues are definitely what i mentioned above, it can feel too grindy and repetitive, as well as the rewards for simply playing.
My current opinions on TDS are that
I joined on 2015 around that time I was still new and didn't really play it that much and always swap accounts
2: Is TDS fun? For me it is very fun, every time I join HC I make new friends and laugh a lot
3: What are TDS biggest Issues? I don't really see my issue except the fact that every time you click on a players loadout you only see scout and sniper
4: If you made the next update, what would it be? I'll bring back gladiator and make the event easier because, since every time I switch accounts I have to redo everything
5: What are your current opinions? I have no opinions
1. I joined tds around april fools 2022
2. I would say that tds is overall fun, especially with the pvp and challenges that they've been pumping out recently
(im better than them now)
2. idk, tds is pretty stale right now.
3. the lobby because its so huge and has so many irrelevant stuff it makes me lag especially with the amount of players in the lobby
4. probably more quests for better rewards that give coins and gems daily but like around 350 - 500 of it.
5. im fine with the game as it is right now the devs are cooking fr. i cant believe the game has reached this far and i still think tds is the best tower defense game on the platform
John’s opinion made many generations happy and stuff 💀
Personally i would add Making Maps where you can make your own maps and if you beat like a random amount of them you get a free skin for some random tower or something and sandbox mode would be a legit masterpiece
1:after the egg hunt (idk when it ended)
2:borring at the start but around the lvl 50 mark is when it gets fun
3:the grind for all the coin towers its just solo molten until u get mini and can beat pizza party
4:endless tdx showed that it can be very fun while still being hard
5:overall best td game on roblox if your more casual but if u have hours of free time tdx is better
1: 2021 frost event
2: Yes its very detailed and good
3: filler and mostly no other more challenge gamemodes
4: basically a come back to the old bosses and a sale for that tower from the original obtained.
5: Add more good features and gamode/maps/tower reworks
My answers
When did you join TDS?: I joined in 2020, during the halloween 2020.
My own irrelevant take:
Easy Mode:
Normal Bosses are super easy, but this is only because it is literally in the Easy mode.
Molten Mode:
Normal Bosses in Molten Mode are even easier, as you have more time to prepare.
Intermediate Mode:
The Ghoul is a tough DPS check that kills me more times than the final boss, though they do well as a common enemy later in the round.
Fallen Mode:
Abnormal Bosses are slightly stronger normal bosses with a 30% defense modifier.
Wave 37 is by far the most threatening Warden, because it's accompanied by 2-
-Necromancer Bosses are very fast, very tanky, and have stun resistance.
DPS and stuns if you have them, otherwise you'll never even get to so much as touch-
-The Fallen King, a big, fast, and tanky boss.
I started playing at the end of the gladiator event never beat it sadly .
i think its fun for the most part like mid game and early game but late game is just grinding and more grinding until you got all the gold skins
Tds biggest issue is in my opinion are the useless updates like new skins or new maps or just nerfing my favorite towers .
i would add a select section were you could select gamemodes like classic which is what we can play at the moment and pvp, sandbox , and Adventure mode with custom new bosses.
i think the game currently is a little too grindy i would reduce the cost of the gatling gun to 0 coins because i think you should unlock it with just the levels but im alright with the rest of the game.
What if you do like "Asking my subscribers what they think of TDS" that would be cool
Elite I hope you see this I started to play tds in October 2020 I say an update that tds needs is that so you don’t get bored you pick which game mode but if you will you proceed to a harder mode and after a game it gives you a warning that says the mode includes these enemies so you can change your loadout
My opinion:
No. TDS is creating early-mid game content, while late game is stuck with golden crate grind and doing their own ideas to not die of boreness
3. I would say its weekly updates, once a month and an bigger update would be better, also lack of modes for late game. (difficult ones)
