theres this sick glitch where if both players are using mercenary base, if a unit from red and a unit from blue get into eachotheres range they start treating eachother like enemies, and its so fun to see the mercenary bases sabotage eachother by killing the other's units
@@hernanignacio6400Yeah. It's counterable if you know about it because it's about the same in effectiveness as w9 MAR. Unnless you're using a directly stronger variation with Warden,your other option is to just infinite wave 7 stall until you get 2k eco by wave 8. (And to add on to this:Randoms don't know how to use strategies properly. This was the case with most strategies piss has made.)
I found a good early start with a lvl 1 shotgunner then spam normals. You wont struggle with cash so much that you have to bring g cowboy. The biggest threats are the bolts and hidden bosses imo.
one thing that would fix the mode a bit (you should be familiar with this one): sending stronger enemies dont give much/decrease your eco. this was a thing in btd battles 1 and it made spamming the late game stuff really an offensive option instead of an eco option
Yeah, when I was against golden cowboy users, only time I send is when I know that they may be overwhelmed, if they are not, then I will stop, I use farm so my economy is not being hurt, that bad. Just has to balance farming and defending.
this pvp mode is looking good for a testing phase, sure it have some of its questionable things but it can be improved and im looking forward to this mode
existing (pvp) bugs: game ends at wave 25 and makes both teams lose breakers you spawn that break will create breaker2s on your side farm doesnt give money sometimes
The first thing they should change imo considering the very limited starting towers is lock spawning enemies for the first 2 or 3 waves because whoever just dumps normals on round start wins
i feel they can make there be chosen modifiers from both players which can decide together and then also certain versions of difficulty for normals wave but inturn the winner get more money same with modifiers
I hope they add alot more waves and remove all the bugs. Also make eco better than farming. Also its really easy to tie since stuff like pyro will just kill everything.
yo elite. i played tons of pvp and i've made a really good loadout Brawler, GPyro, GCrook, Commander. it uses only 4 towers but u leak minimally even while ecoing and ur able to defend 99% of rushes
Another good strat I found (I don't have golden cowboy) was g soldier. Somebody spent at least 3/4 of their money sending and 4 soldiers were able to completely decimate them and I ended up winning without sending a single thing lol
they are defenlitly adddign more maps, and fixing the red thing on your screen and might add an aut o send or an ability to turn off the red text that blocks ur screen when u spam it
If your gonna go with a good loadout, have a tower that can have HD early game since if all your towers don't have HD yet and the enemy sends a hidden rush, your basically dead
tbh the main problem is that the devs treated pvp mode like btd battles. but normal zombies are like 5x more threatning bc most towers have no pierce and normal zombies have 4 hp instead of 1
BTD battles does it well because almost all of their towers can pop multiple bloons with pierce, but TDS just copied the idea of sending enemies for eco and forgot that enemies don’t have 1 hp or any towers have piercing.
I summarized everything and my loadout is gladiator dj commander cowboy (normal) and dps tower (i use either executioner or mortar though) at wave 7 u will live even if they spam hiddens , the whole plan is to stall at wave 7 infinitely until u get 1k cash eco bonus. Also while getting lvl 2 cowboys to 3 while doing so. 2 gladiator lvl 2 and 2 lvl 3 cowboy is enough to deal with hidden spam. Just forever stall jntil u get everything maxed lvl if u have the patience.
Based on the 20ish games I had today, here's the big issues I have: 1. Splash/Pierce towers are too overpowered here - Especially gold Pyro and Gladiator are absolutely horrendously broken in this; it's a death sentence for whoever doesn't have either of them and goes against someone who does 2. Infinite timer at normal/slow boss introductions - The logical thing to do is eco stall out forever; this has to be changed 3. Ending at Wave 25 - A bit too early(we don't get to use tank); perhaps wave 40 or even 50 would be better 4. Bug: Breakers spawning weirdly - It is enough to end yourself due to the blue breakers spawning out of nowhere 5. Bug: sometimes, when you press a spawning button, the game tells you to 'wait for 1 second' even though the timer is already over TLDR: Badly balanced BTDB lol (To be fair, this is a pvp TEST and most probably by no means polished)
theres a weird bug where if you killed a necromancer or breaker, and the person you 1v1ing hasnt yet, wherever the breaker dies or necro spawns, it spawns on your side as well making it appear they are coming from thin air.

If both of you equip pyromancer, you can just spam normals & increase income without hurting each other. DJ just makes things easier. Step 2: Get down 4 level 2 regular cowboys. Step 3: Upgrade 2 cowboys to level 3. Step 4: Spam level 2 cowboys until you reach the placement limit. Step 5: Place a pyromancer at the start. Now start spamming normals for money. Step 6: Get a level 3 DJ. Step 7: Upgrade cowboys to level 3, then to level 4.

The thing is yes, gold cowboy and gold pyro are beyond busted in this. 2 gold pyros defend infinite breakers and slow bosses, and cowboy gives so much cash that you can buy the pyros early. But here's the thing, there's no reward for winning. You COULD use super op towers, but why not just CHOOSE to use towers with actual weaknesses? It isn't like you're missing out in anytkng for losing... I will say, if i was to balance them, i'd make pyro have a pierce limit, and cowboy get the bloon trap treatment. In battles 2, bloon trap was nerfed so that it can't make money off of bloons sent by your opponent, only the naturally spawned bloons. I think cowboy could get the same treatment.

Economy in this pvp mode is a bit like investment. you put in money for something and that money could be a lot more than what you spent. btw same loadout when I did it first
shotgunner, regular crook boss, commander, i won 14 games in a row only using these three towers, i still havent lost a single game of pvp mode. Get 2 level 2 shotgunners by wave 7 (at the first 4 way path), then a level 2 crook (in the circle, making sure its far back enough so that it can see the entire roundabout and you can place down another shotgunner at the 4 way path), get two more level 2 shotgunners, get the crook to level 3, get a level 1 commander (this will be around wave 14ish), spam bolts on wave 15 if the survive up to that point. No matter what they send you, until wave 15 you will be able to defend it, ive been rushed by every single enemy at this point and survived with zero leakage, and the more things they send means the more time for you to get the economy money every 30 seconds. (this strat doesnt require ecoing yet i recommend it if they cant defend your eco zombies) just under half of my games ended before or on the round of the first boss via rushing hiddens or them not being able to defend my eco normal zombies. And im only level 36, you can probably improve this further with golden pyro instead of crook boss, or golden crook boss, or golden pyro for commander (being placed earlier than the crook boss)
The problems with new test run Eco is unbalanced Too little towers do to little splash to counted sending No point for late game towers as it ends to early Bugs(which is expected as it is a test run) Hiddens can be sent to early like w 7 the only tower that can reasonable deal with a hidden rush that early is pyro

funfact : u can give buffs with support towers (dj / commander) if u place it in the middle.
One thing is that when you kill the final breaker, they respawn out of nowhere in the path and just go into your base like trolls.

Most base towers in TDs do more damage than base towers in btd but yeah you are forced to use piercing towers or explosives

This gamemode has a very prominent meta, get some aoe dmg like pyro, spam enemies, boom, your opponent has to defend.
This mode is exactly like bud battles, I understand why RUclips would think that
