- The Application Was Unable to Start Correctly (0xc000007b). Click Ok To Close The Application is an error message on Windows 10 /8/7. If your program in unable to start because of some missing components or some misconfiguration, you will get the error message saying, "The Application Was Unable to Start Correctly (0xc000007b)" as shown on the video.

i followed the directions down to a tee and trails of cold steel 2 still will not open

WHY are computer errors never in straight forward English that normal human beings can understand? It would make it so much easier, I would know WHAT the problem is without having to look it up. if it just said something like "direct X is missing, please install direct X to run your game". That makes so much more sense but no, they have to use stupid cryptic error language that no normal human being could possibly understand without being an expert at computers.
