Thanks for the tip on the sunpatients, I will give them a try !!! I can"t believe how much they filled out 🤩 Love that bag from Aldi, will look for it 😉 Love your covered porch, so jealous 😍😍😍 Your porch looked like my side yard yesterday 😂 I must have planted up a dozen things before the rain 😎 Love all your choices...gonna be so pretty ❤
Thank you for the sweet comments Lorraine! Yes it’s always amazing to me how much things grow in one season! I hope you find a bag, it is so handy! I’m glad you got to plant up lots of things also! It’s an exciting time😊🌸!!
Thank you so much Tammy! I’m so glad you stopped by and said ‘hi’! I am from PA, only been in MD for 6 years. It has been fun being able to add in plants for a slightly warmer zone! Have a great day!
Hi Devon, I’m new to your channel Absolutely love your choice of flowers and plants. My son also shares your first name and I grew up in Maryland.💐😃 Thanks for sharing all the great tips.
Thank you so much for saying ‘hello’ Gretta! I’m so glad you found me! Thank you for the compliments! I’m excited to watch the flowers grow🌸! That’s so neat about your son, I only ever went to school with one other girl named Devon in pre school haha. Also very neat that you grew up in Maryland! I am a PA girl transplanted to MD 6 years ago😊.
I’m so happy to have you here! Thank you for watching and subscribing! I’m glad you got some inspiration😊. I hope you have a chance to get out and get dirty today🌸!
Hello, your information is so helpful. However, I couldn't tell if you pull the bulb of the tulips up along with the foliage and if so how did you store them away for next year. Thank you
I’m glad you found it helpful! I treat my tulips as annuals because they don’t naturalize/cole back for me well in my zone 7b Maryland garden. So I toss them all and start over the next year. I hope that helps!
Looks really lovely. Think I’ll use some impatience in my big pots. I buy leafgro at home depot, it’s compost that Montgomery county landfill makes, just looked up the price which it has gone up, but it’s still less than $6, same big bag as miracle grow.
Thank you Wende! You can’t go wrong with impatiens/sunpatiens😊. I have used leaf gro in my beds before. Do you use it in containers as well? Do you add any other amendments? I did also get a bag of coast of Maine potting soil to try for my edibles. Happy Mothers Day to you!
@@onegardenatathyme Happy Mother’s Day to you. I do use it it containers, I added some black cow. This yr I’m using raised bed soil, thinking it already has fertilizer in it, so I don’t have to worry about remembering that.
Hi, I have looked for that angel silver plant, but haven't seen it yet and I am almost finished planting all my containers. I am trying Sunpatiens again this year, but every year before they got waterlogged in the containers and quickly died. I live in Atlanta, and we get a lot of rain. I was wondering if you put any holes in the clear saucer that you put in the bottom of your hanging baskets? I have used plastic from the bag of soil before, and again, a begonia got waterlogged, so I slipped out the plastic but the plant died anyway. That's quite a lot of plants you put in one container. Have you had success before with so many in one pot? I usually find the thriller gets big and the under plants die unless they are shade trailers like Swedish ivy, Torenia, Lamium etc. The calibrocia often just suddenly die, wilting while wet.
I'm sorry to hear you lost all of your sunpatiens! I have never had that issue thankfully. I did not put any holes because there is plenty of drainage all around rest of the fern. It just gives a little bit of a basin for water to settle in so it doesn't drain quite as quickly. I have combined that many plants before in that container and they thrived so I'm hoping for the best with this combo as well! I guess time will tell!
The osmocote is not organic. I mostly use organic materials in my gardens but for my Sunpatiens that I want to really perform I have used the osmocote. This year I am going to try using only some compost and espoma flower tone on my shade impatiens to see how they compare to last year’s osmocote. I do prefer to use mostly organic except for my annual flower containers I have used liquid miracle-gro (not with my edibles).
❤ awesome channel ❤ I am so glad that I am not the only one who puts plants on their porch to get them ready to plant

Lovely! New subscriber here! Where did you purchase your metal 20” hanging baskets?
Thank you! I’m glad you found my channel! I just purchased them at Home Depot.

Hello friends, the plants this season seem to be very fertile
