I had no idea how well and densely packed these rolls were until today when I was given one and tried to "unroll" it. I was astonished! I had to look this up as soon as I got home. A marvel.
I believe that there is a wired remote control box that is mounted in the tractor cabin and a light comes on when the bale has reached full size or a preset weight and trips a relay switch. Thanks for sharing the detailed baler animation. I seen them in operation many times but wondered how it all works together.
@@gaijar4987 Well the indicator could just inform the driver to stop the tractor. A baler could be fully automated to do its thing in a sequence of steps and dump the bale out. The indicator would change when the baler is ready again to collect the hay.
I'm a worn out old dude and I still disassemble them by hand. I first flip the 5 x 6 over on its end on a deck of pallets, remove the string/net then can peel off the layers as needed to put into a goat feeder. Keep roll tarped from weather. No waste nor deterioration of quality.
@@mercoid I use one of my homemade square bale grappler hooks to dig out a start place then try to peel off layers going around the bale. I try to buy short cut leafy hay grazer. The bale comes apart much easier. I hate overgrown hay with a bunch of stalks. Animals don't like it either. Makes bales difficult to tear apart.
Inside the tractor there is usualy a control box that tells the operator that the bale is formed. then the operator stops moving and a relay activates the twine or net to wrap the bale after witch the bale is released and the operator begins the process again.
That's nice and all but the farmer is still driving forward so during the wrapping and ejecting new hay will be flowing into this unit. I guess I need to watch a real video of a farmer. Maybe they stop and allow this part of the process to happen. I bet this bail preserves a lot more of the leaves than the plunger square bail method.
i learned more than i did all school year
Same
DIS ONE
Yea no kidding
Same🤣

Lol unroll it. I just bust it apart into a pile.
This is so comforting to see, all will be okay, bales are being made
Great explanation of how the whole process works. Thanks for sharing.
we;ve had a new holland one for 9 years, and this video explained it way better than my dad or grandpa ever did.
I am from nyc and never seen this done. I found it very interesting thank you
It is broadening, potentially useful and fun, to learn of such things.
Those bales weigh up to 300 kilos each.
Gotta love that QCS system!
Ez egy kis segítség a bálázógép működéséhez!

Yes there is, you have to control the baler to, dont you.

Good looking machine
Always wondered how they worked. Now i know
Very good video thanks for uploading
Which software are you use for making this video?
Looking back, I wonder how many miles of belt material must be used in this design.
Im just waiting for someone to make a Baler lore video
i use to live on a farm and we had to tear bales apart for cows and it was very hard

@@Accumulator1 …do you peel off by hand or use a pitch fork…?

RUclips recommended anyone?
its recommend for me too xD
Yup and ain't even mad. I've been loving farming for quite some time thanks to farming simulator.
Yea
Nope. I actually got curious and looked it up deliberately.
but if the bale is not forming whilst it's being rapped what happens to the crop being picked up?
You stop the tractor. When the bail is done. Kick out the bale and start again.
was wondering the same thing, i guess there is an alarm that tells the driver to stop
I have an essay I should be writing
How went your essay
ohhhh cool
very good video
how can this be possibble
But the driver still has to stop , while wrapping is completed ? I am guessing ?
Yes because it can't bale and wrap at the same time.
Aka magic
I wonder how durable the belt is.
Very, never had one fail
I am investing in agco
So to make mini-wheats they just have a miniature baler….
Yup The tricky part is getting the plastic wrapper off each one. 😁
I was playing FS14 and I wanted to know how the baler works
Only 14? Shit I'm playing 19
Earliest i ever played was 15.
Came here right from a video about a guy losing his foot in a baler...
Let’s play a game, drink every time he says bale.
Think Like A Horse brought me here :))
好看
That's exactly what I said.
Which is quite concerning, because I can only speak english.
I'm in that weird part of RUclips again
No no best Mc Hale
I clicked this and after 2mins just thought:
"Wow this is a weird meme..."
Sounds an awful lot like a turbo encabulator.
Got this from reddit on a post about a Fox getting caught in a bail (a terrible death if you ask me) ......poor guy...
Lots of baby deer and rabbits too

They only stop moving to eject the bale.
Great comedy
