      @@agongarstiff Yes, he defers too willingly. In my opinion, it'd be much better for the team if he wasn't so okay with that. They'd be more of a threat and be better in close game situations. Look at the beginning of the season without Kawhi, when PG was carrying hard...
      He can call himself 1b, #2, or whatever he wants, but the truth is that he's too damn good.

      tbh i think its more a case of being reflective and honest with himself. Some stars are number 1s on a team and then their ego cant take the hit of becoming a number 2, when in reality they should. PG smart because he truly is maximizing his chances of getting a ring.

      Bones and kawhi should be on the floor at the same time and Russ and pg should be on the floor at the same time , if ty can piece it around that I think rotations can get easier on others like Powell and Batum

    • @JqlenB
      @JqlenB Год назад +2

      Ty Lue has had problems with rotations all year. Guys like Morris shouldn’t even be in the starting lineup or closing. Vs Sac and Denver, Ty Lue even had Morris as the backup 5 with Covington riding the bench.
      Gordon pretty much offers the same spark off the bench as Powell *in theory*
      Mann clearly is one of the younger athletic important guys but Ty Lue continues to sit him in crunch time.
      So many experiments that Lue is trying and it’s getting ridiculous. The way Morris plays, If he’s not scoring, he’s useless. Offers no defense, no rebounding and doesn’t do any little things but he keeps getting minutes
      As a fan I hope he cleans up the rotations before playoff time or it will be the same implosion as previous years

    Ty Lue needs to sit these guys down and put it straight. Its on him to pull them together and tell them to smarten the F up. It's their last chance. They don't even have a real identity yet after 4 years. If they get bounced this year its a complete and total failure. 4 years no finals trips. Edit: PG deserves a ton of respect for being so humble. He gets a bad rap for some reason. Wish he was more consistent but I'm a massive fan

      @Shin Koh Agree. Lue is great but this switch heavy plan he has implemented isn't sustainable there are too many breakdowns. No team can switch everything with the speed of the league and the shooting.
