🇬🇭. This is what I have been saying. Infrastructure does not mean high-rise buildings only. It goes beyond that. That is why Ghana is ahead of Kenya and Nigeria, according to the Africa Infrastructure Development Index(AIDI). Though Ghana has a long way to go, we as a country trying, just that the pace is very slow. And also this Current President, Akuffo Addo has taken the country 10yrs back. We hope things get better again.

I'm begging you eastern parts or Kenyans to do something. Children need to be cleaned daily, and live in the clean, safe, warm environment with parents or guardians, even from caring neighbor's adults, and be children enjoying their childhood life, and not to be stressed with adults duties like that, it's a sin and crime " CHILD LABOUR ."
In my country SA, you'll be arrested the minute the neighbor report that because nobody tolerate child abuse in SA. The children come 1st, and followed by women. Now please include government authority like social workers and humanity structures to help them.
I stopped watching these videos because I can't sleep well afterwards. Watching from SA, and having to give those around my neighboring countries that are here give me pleasure and I'm not or never rich in my life. I lost my job 35 years ago when I encountered fire accident that damage my body but mostly my hands. But I never stopped helping people who lack coming from all angles of life, with food and clothing particularly and jobs, and I never so lack for living and I'll be lying to God if I say I did lack those basic lack of living.
But to see this happen to people many miles away, needs a specific big project to be able to reach those angles of helping them.
That is why I am begging you folks that you can assist. Just step in and help poor children with groceries, clothes, water, and houses like decent zinc shelters or containers. It will be much better than living in those falling apart clay corners . And help them with mattresses and blankets will be better for their protection from colds etc.
You know what folks, it is a blessing to give from what you have to people in real need for that kind of support. Try that from today, and you'll feel some fulfillment in your heart, and that's exactly what Jesus did and ask us to do as God's people to other God's people . That's the kind of offering God wants, and Jesus Christ gospel preached.
Not the one people keep on enriching these so-called prophets and pastors.
Let us help each other from where we are, let us start there, God will provide us and also be merciful to us. And we can stop these ideas of ever waiting for government to do things for us.

The format of this presentation is such that you can refute its claims with simple fact-based counter argument. I've been to Kenya a number of times and have flown around the country with a helicopter. I have my own impression about the state of its infrastructural development.
At number 5, Nigeria is punching way below its potential, and it's a country heading in the wrong and negative direction. A huge disappointment. Ghana is greatly challenged at the moment but striving to move in the right direction. Entanglement with IMF is always a nightmare for African countries. Good luck, Ghana.

Over 90 percent of roads in Kenya are not tarmacked, electricity is a pipe dream for most rural Kenya folks, same with piped water. Kenya does not even have a single metro line in 2023. Kenya only shines in East and Central Africa. Beyond that we are nothing.. sad part is all infrastructural projects have stalled and no new ones. We will be back to the dark ages.
Don't you know you can travel from the one end of Kenya to another without experiencing any murram? All highways are tamarcked. The next plan is to have them dual carriage. When you reach Kenya, start from Uganda-Kenya border to Mombasa to Moyale, Lodwar to Namanga headed to Tanzania. Then come back and postulate fantasies.

I'm not surprised that Kenya is not on the list, I've always said that Kenya is just Nairobi (which is average at best). The other cities Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisimu...all look like scenes from a 1950s film in colour.

I understand the shock of Ethiopians and Kenyans but countries like Gabon and Botswana by-passed them by between 10 to 20 years in terms of income per head. A country like Equatorial Guinea should be carrying fault not Kenya or Ethiopia. Don't mix skyscrapers with real development. I sure don't know about Zambia. Senegal and Cote d'ivoire are not far behind as well.

I know i should be celebrating as a Motswana but its hard to believe we so high with a population of 2.5million. I was taught by sciences ghanaians, ,kenyans, zimbabweans and zambians. our doctors were nigerians, black south africans. city planners were tanzanians etc. So i hold these countries very high
The small population is the reason Botswana and Ghana is at the top and not Kenya or Ethiopia. In real terms others countries probably have more infrastructures just not enough for the citizen. Only 2 to 3 states in Nigeria for example probably have Botswana level of infrastructures but that certainly is nothing for 200million people...
