@@Maya33777 biff loman was a character in a play by Arthur Miller called death of a salesman lol he was a real loser.... So it was Jerry's way of making fun of George instead of directly calling him a loser I guess they canned it after a while so it didn't make him seem like a loser and jerry like an a hole!? Or maybe after Larry David left the show? There is a also a reference to it when George falls over in his underwear and jerry says and you want to be my latex salesman? I hope this kinda cleared it up for you? You can read up a bit more online?

I had to laugh at the end of the episode where George tells his gf "You can't leave me! I've got hand!", and she tells him "And you're gonna need it!". I watched this once on DVD w/ the "Notes about Nothing" on, and it helpfully explained the meaning of "the upper hand". It has to do w/ how baseball teams would have 1 representative hold onto a bat back & forth higher on the bat until someone reached the top (base) of the bat, giving that team "the upper hand", which I think maybe allowed that person to choose a player first or something of that sort.
Shoot I came here hoping to hear the greatest line in the episode, and one of the greatest ever in any show: "And you're gonna need it!"
Is hard to believe George can ever has the power in a relationship, at least for me.
Imo George seems like the beta male sort when it comes to a relationship. With his friends he's assertive,stands his ground. Need proof,go watch the episode where George can't break up with one of this girlfriends and just caves in and says "Alright"
@0:20 It's weird Jerry had a thing about Poppi peeing on his couch when he doesn't mind wearing his shoes that he walked all around with outside on the streets of New York and then placing those same shoes on his couch!
He probably stepped in pee somewhere along the way too.
Jerry is such a clean freak, he probabaly has some living room sneakers, street sneakers, lately cleaned sneakers, huge collection, dozens of them in closet. He throws away even shoelaces which did touch bathroom floor . It wouldnt surprise me if he put brand new/ cleaned pair every time he is going out or coming home. He is almost never barefoot in his home, I never saw him wear slippers either. ( perhaps only one time in very early season ). Real Jerry Seinfeld has collection over 500 pair of sneakers, but I dont know if he wears so many.

The funniest thing about this clip is not the dumb "hand" routine but the fact that George thinks they have fleas at the flea market.
The whole hand thing always felt like a really forced set up for the final joke.

Jerry is wrong. I looked it up and according to oxford dictionary, “Flea market comes from the French marché aux puces, a name originally given to a market in Paris which specialized in shabby second-hand goods of the kind that might contain fleas.”
But that's not how the word is used today. Today it's just another word for second hand.
