The Lost World Jurassic Park is much worse than all of the Star Wars prequels and I’ll stand by that.
And this is coming from someone who doesn’t like the prequels at all.
i'm sorry, but poor, suffering Steven is _right_ to be lackadaisical and unenthused towards this project; i really feel that it's a pretty terrible movie (let ALONE _sequel to a stone cold classic)._ but then Spielberg has ALWAYS plumbed the dregs of his considerable talents when faced with directing sequels - i really do actively dislike 'Temple of Doom' _quite a bit,_ knowing full well that my opinion is in the *very* vast minority. but, hey - that's just the way i see it - both films have a lousy story, lots of lousy, LOUD new characters, lousy comedy... just fairly LOUSY ALL AROUND. (also remember he was fully into the production of the brilliant *"Saving Private Ryan"* at the time of this interview... i can't really see his heart being at ALL in with this silly piece of nonsense; at least not at that point.)
No no he’s right, The Lost World was terrible, Spielberg cared about Saving Private Ryan much more and it shows.
