Been a _massive_ fan of Kraftwerk since the early 00's. I discovered them at the age of 13 and spent a lot of time in the early internet looking up anything I could find about them, and came to learn of their incredible legacy in not just electronic music, but in culture in general. And even still, I never could've imagined that their impact to the world would be one day talked about by the king of England in an official speech.
I couldn't help but smile when King Charles name dropped them together with the Beatles. If that's not an honor then I don't know what it is. I like how Kraftwerk always presented themselves as a European band, did songs in various languages and made an album in celebration of Europe. I think they did more to improve Germany's image in the UK than any other German music group ever did.
When the King likes Kraftwerk, you know he's a true leader
