Hey Trev, European here. It looks like the game is modeled after Germany. I noticed that the license plates have a little "D" on them (D is for Deutschland or Germany in english) which is common for European license plates. Love the vids! 😃
Trevor the thing you were transporting was an electrical transformer! It allows you to convert electrical energy at one voltage to another different voltage. Useful for reducing the high voltage for transmission down to household safe levels. And for electrical powerplants.

I drive trucks for a living and I can tell you now, I still find it pretty fun. Gets very monotonous some days but most days it's still great. Lots of scenery to take in while you're driving around

If you like this game so much you need to try farming simulator. It's logistics, tycoon and driving all in one.
I fear that, considering his love for all things logistics, if he ever gets into Farm sim we'd lose him forever.

Trevor I made my sim rig out of 2x4's,and have a flight sim sticks on a stand that has 2 pins to lock into the rig,so to change it is the 2 pins and the 1 cable to setup to remove
Yeah I was thinking he could probably fairly easily put together something himself with some basic DIY skills. Especially because a brand-specific quick-release system only works if you want to purchase all of your different simulation peripherals from the one single company.
The Indicator for the right hand turn while overtaking on the kerb after doing Mach Jesus down the street is 10/10

You should definitely give American truck simulator a try
If the game supports head/eye tracking I recommend the Tobii tracking system. I use it for flight and space sims and it's brilliant.
By the license plate you were driving in Germany.
Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland have similar colors (whiteplate, black letters and numbers), place names suggest Scandinavia rather than Germany.

From my experience just play American/Euro Truck Sim, It's the best truck "Sims" out there right now, all these other random games that come out calling themselves simulators aren't even getting close to what Ats/Ets is. Also with Ats/ets theres thousands and thousands of mods to so its kinda hard to beat. I always said unless someone comes out with a actual legit Trucking simulator I will always stick with Ats, its the best we got right now so

The brake for the logitech pedals have a rubber stopper that you can remove to allow you to actually use the brake pedal properly. It's a common annoyance when purchased new

That is true. We don't see Man Semi Trucks in the United States. The only Semi Truck brands that we have in the United States is BYD, Freightliner, Kenworth, International, Peterbilt, Volvo and Western Star.

I've got almost 2,700 hours in ATS. I love it. This game looks interesting though.
Def gotta get into ETS2 ans ATS. I love those games. And they go on sale all of the time. I started playing them both back in Feb and already put in close to 200hrs easily 😂
Make sure Trev when you play eurotruck sim 2 to play with graphic mods on the steam workshop. They looks amazing.
If nobody makes a quick change for sim setup, you could have someone make you one. 3D print or a machine shop.
That load appears to be a generator for a diamond mine in Africa. We see a lot of those heading down to the Ohio River to head down to the gulf. Or a power plant in this case.

This Sim game is like Snowrunners with better graphics. Plus you can get out and do stuff.
TREV PLEASE tell me you got the moza wheel with the Truck wheel that is so cool they even have like stalks with indicators and everything it’s so cool play it with any trucking game PLEASE. MOZA is probably the best brand for sim racing they have so many options!

Hope you went full in with the base ,wheel with shifters for ETS / ATS because there is nothing better then driving a manuel big rig & float them gears ;-)

Trev, for the switching out peripherals I was thinking you could probably fairly easily put together something yourself with some basic DIY skills and inspiration from online. I'm sure it's something simulation game hobbyists have already done before and provided instructions about on places like Reddit. Especially because a brand-specific quick-release system only works if you want to purchase all of your different simulation peripherals from the one single company, which I'd assume is not neccesarily the case?

I think the setting is in Germany. It could be Austria or Switzerland too. Just cause there’s German writing doesn’t mean it’s automatically Germany.

Also, "Big, wide, heavy, insane loads" can be used in *far* too many scenarios

I actually just checked a video by PODIUM 1 RACING, and they specialize in doing exactly what you are asking about bro. they just did a setup for Joe Rogan's studio and is crazy the how versatile it looks and the quality.
