axel7801 ZeRo and Salem both play their characters differently but based off the same concept bait the approach and combo them to hell for Salem and throw them off stage and edge guard to death percent
Ryuga played the first match well. He was too committed to an ultra campy style after that. This may work for many, but I have seen Zero overcome this play style every single time.
yaragorm Just like how Ryuga had reason to camp here, Zero had reason before too. It was back when Lucas' footstool combos first surfaced. Zero was scared of the new tech as all Taiheita needed was a grab to secure a stock. With only that day to plan around the grab footstool combo, his best answer was to not get grabbed, which, against a slow teether, is best done at extreme, non commital distances
Ryuga played like shit for me, he forgot a lot of moves of corrin, only spamming the side b, what a way to waste the lead on 2d match "standing on the platform like a dumbass"
The most important rule of fighting ZeRo: you cannot outcamp a player with a complete mastery of the neutral.
Not to mention he arguably plays the very best character for that style. I like how ryuga was playing at the beginning, it's just so hard.
Gibbles Bits yeah, it is hard to manage to SD twice on the same match.

Ryuga played really well until he got tilted. Props to ZeRo for adapting so well.
Everyone complaining about Ryuga being campy... but wasn't ZeRo campy against Salem?

Yah and its not like Ryuga was spamming long range projdctiles to keep him away
Wow, Ryuga is very good at the long play, well done!
scariest thing about fighting zero is knowing he could flip the "you're done son" switch at any moment.
The last time these two played in bracket I believe, Ryuga mained Ike and ZeRo mained Sheik
The Hiiro
GOMl was their last time iirc, that could be Rango though.
EJJTheMiner That was actually San, but I understand the confusion
Ohhh right thx

Kinda funny that everyone is complaining about ryuga's camping lol
Games 1, 2 and 4 were all 0% to 15% on second stock; Ryuga did a really good job of keepin it close as long as he could
Props to Zero. I can't deal with camping playstyles at all. I get bored and annoyed VERY quickly.
c4bb4g3 if it works to win then it works whats your problem?
I know I suck. I don't care. My problem is it annoys me because I enjoy playing Smash, not Tag.
c4bb4g3 wow nice response good job
People say Ryuga camps but Zero won the second game ledgecamping
5:53 that pivot tho
zeroの対応力が凄すぎる。
Guys I love ZeRo but he tends to play even campier than Ryuga did here. Just watch his matches against Taiheta for proof.

That's my point exactly. There's nothing wrong with using the playstyle he thinks will help him out best.
So... Zero is know the be the best ledge trapper. Why did he let Ryuga jump from ledge every single time?
trey fawley Because he wants to know Ryugas options so he can punish where it matters. like how he went off at the end of game 2
He's not the best ledge trapper, but he has the best neutral.
even if you camp, you cant beat the best player in dah world
what a set
ryuga hates diddy Kong so much
Ryuga bumping logic

Instapin is literally one of corrin's best moves, and ryuga had the lead so he played campy, which zero had beaten, sadly.
alfanauta it's called playing safe
WTF?
Ryuga is now my least favorite player
Purple Tanooki was it because he was playing safe? lmao hilarious
Derp Muffin you can't say that when you main rosalina :P
I play rosa to win
Derp Muffin noice
