@csrivalry I actually totally understand, I have lived in Florida all my life & most of the time its always SO hot & sunny, people call me crazy when I say I would like a storm or some different weather once in a while, but I get tired of the same thing. It is exciting when there is severe weather!
Should live in Minnesota if you like weather, I dont persoally live there but it would be my first choice for moving to. 90+ heat in summer, -10s in winter. Severe weather all year round with storms in spring/summer and blizzards in the winter. loverly!
Im from Cali, but lived in OK for a little while. My friends from Cali (who have never been to OK) like to go on about how they love lightning and thunder storms. I just laugh and them and tell them "You know nothing!" Lol
@cncmasterw I work at a walmart supercenter...Now imagine hail that big coming down that hard on a department store building like that. It was LOUD!!! I didn't get a whole lot of damage to my car though. (My personal blessing) No windows busted or anything like that on my car but I saw back shields busted out and everything. Streets kinda flooded and all. I was crazy.
The best thing about weather like this is that its one of the few times the greedy insurance agencies experience the monetary shock they deal out on all of us everyday.
@csrivalry Oh really? I don't live in North Florida, but where I live in FL we haven't had a really big storm since..1992 and kinda in 2005. It's been pretty boring. lol
Impressive sight when the hail hits the pool. Iwould assume cars were dented and your roof was in need of replacement same as everyone else in the vast area to.I bet the insurance companies just cringe when they get all those claims.
I wonder if Mother Nature got an inviromental impact statement before she was allowed to release all that hail.... could be an investigation... It could happen you know.. lol
Great video and quite scary that would definatley be a killer if you didn't have any protecton! one of those bad boys would klnock you clean out whilst the rest pummled your face.
Best capture of May 16th Hail storm EVER.
Damn... that kinda hail causes so much damage.. looks like one heck of a micro burst..talk about so tough trees!!
Thanks David, surprised you didn't recognize the pool :)

I think the earth is pissed-off at us!!! Great quality!!
That hailstorm was NOT FUN. Thankfully I was chillin in Norman when it happened, and so I missed most of it.
Hey Ted! I always wondered just what it would take to keep a storm chaser home! Now I know! Robert C.
