I was caught in a hailstorm in Arizona in 1992. I saw the storm coming and tried to race it home, but it came upon me when I got off the highway. It got so bad I couldn't see, and when I almost drove into a creek I finally pulled over. There was so much hail it covered the ground like snow. Afterward there was cloud-to-ground lightning and I drove the rest of the way home, but had to wait in the garage for ten minutes until the lightning moved on. That was a memorable storm.
Im watching this because the first time in forever i live in florida saint pete and my god.. ive just seen the 6th ever hail storm to happen... jesus it looked a little less than that but lord ot was amazing!!!!
This was about what I experienced yesterday. May have been a big stronger. We were at a picnic for memorial day and 2 lightning strikes then the rain started.. Real heavy rain started. Next thing the food table flipped and then the tent went. It was really scary.
I've always wanted to go storm chasing, but there are certain conditions I don't want to do it in, like this. I'd rather be where you are filming it. Hope all your stuff is ok, great vid!
That dude was motoring at 0:39. A shortcut through the bushes and he was gone. I hate when that happens, getting caught in a hailstorm...lol. Very nice vid.
A few years ago I was on holiday in Italy.. while out driving in a rented car we got hit by a hailstorm with hail the size of tennis balls, was an amazing experience, expensive though - the car received a few bumps and the windscreen got a huge crack ^.^'
@TheBudgie22 Yeah because driving something with glass windows whilst being pounded by icelike projectiles is -such- a good idea..... Especially in a small confined space...

Damn! I remember gettin caught in a storm like that. It was fuckin scary man. We had to pull over to the side of the highway. luckily we found a underpass so the hail didnt damage our car. But yea It was Awesome and Terrifying.
That's crazy, I'd drive the tractor to the front door and tip myself inside instead of backing in, nicely parking and runnin' like hell.. Dumb farmers I guess.
