- Eminem predicted the future in his song “Stan” and it will leave you shocked! In the song, he talks about a man named Stan who’s obsessed with Eminem. Stan’s six-year-old little brother, Matthew, was an even bigger Eminem fan and waited outside his concert in the cold for four hours hoping he would meet Eminem. When he finally saw Eminem, Eminem didn’t sign an autograph for him which absolutely destroyed him. Stan was so obsessed with Eminem but never got to meet him so he drove his car off a bridge. This led to his brother Matthew growing up hating Eminem! This is where the story starts to get crazy, in 2013 Eminem released the song “Bad Guy” which was about Matthew talking to Eminem. In the song, Matthew talks about breaking into Eminem’s house so he can get revenge for Stan. But this next part you won’t believe because in September 2021 Eminem’s house was actually broken into and you won’t believe who did it. The intruder smashed Eminem’s windows with a brick and went inside. He said he needed to get revenge on Eminem, but you won’t believe what the person's name was, the man who broke into the house was named Matthew just like the kid from the song.

Stan was about a real person and a some what true story, em received a bunch of letters from a guy who would constantly talk about his younger brother and how he was his biggest fan and wanted to meet em, the kid then got tickets to one of ems shows yet em was rushed off by his security before he actually had any time to greet the fans in person, this upset the kid and he no longer listened to ems music, the older brother who was suffering from alot of mental health issues started writtng more letters to em calling him a shitty person and telling em that he broke his brothers hart and messed him up mentally for ignoring him at the show as he Had already wrote to em telling him that his brother was going to be there and wanted to meet him, em gets lots of fan mail so either didn't see the letter or simply just ignored it, the guy never got a response and well yea took it as a sighn of disrapect and became obsessed with trying to get in contact with em for what ever reason, his family slowly fell apart because of his obsession and well yea he had a mental breakdown and took his own life along with his pregnant wife who he was arguing constantly with because of the obsession, em saw the letters and the news story about the guy and then decide to write a song about it, the younger brother saw that as a sighn of disrespect as em never reached out to the family at all before doing that and the kid kept writing letters to em saying that it was ems fault that his brother died like that and that he was one day going to get revenge, em then decided to write a song about what the kids letters said he was going to do and well yea again the kid saw this as another sighn of disrespect and thought that the songs were making fun of him and his brother so he went through with his plan witch was to brake in to ems house to get revenge on him
Obviously some of the details of the story were changed or left out in the songs to make it sound and flow better but yea the back story behind the songs is based on real events
