I have kids in 4 "first world countries", they all give same feedback, South Africa is the isssh of the world. Thank you for exposure and sharing us with the rest of the world.
Has anyone noticed how THEE DOPE GUY’s head dance was the n sync with the VaTsonga People’s music? 🤯😍❤️ VaTsonga va Hiba; please bestow a Xitsonga name upon him. I am not a MuTsonga but I can speak and understand South African XiTsonga. From henceforth I propose the name “Dyondzani” meaning “To Learn/ To learn more” and/or Teach.
Hey The Dope Guy, i am happy you enjoy African dance and sounds. Among the 4000 ethnic groups (tribes) each has tens to hundreds of dances. One very major instrument is the drum.
Instead they added gumboot dance which is not a traditional dance 💀 at number 1 nogal?! This is why we need to tell our stories because others will tell misleading stories...
THE Khoisan oldest term of reference is Sonqua/Sauqua and underwent a number of re-identification processess through enforced legaslation whilst still to this day are unrepresented within the body politic of South Africa and Marginilized in every way possible even though depicted on the coat of arms of the Country and the Slogan of the Republic of South Africa /KE.E //GARRA /KE meaning UNITY IN DIVERSITY
We all know the entire world has stolen and reappropriated African dance, from river dance, square dance, and most American dances. African my people. Love you all so much.
I'm home sick when watching these traditional dancers. # 9 this group is from Botswana and lead singer is Motswana & urrently living in SA since she's married that side. The San people pose this dance in way to connect to their ancestors, praying for rain, showing appreciation with being successful with their hunting. # 7 Is again Batswana.
I DEARLY MISS MY BOTSWANA. At 7:45 the young lady there is one of the Royal Princesses & at 7:47 a the King himself. He's many wives. At7:54 Reed Dance is celebrating/showing virgin females that the king might have interest to choose a virgin and marry her. Eswatini (before Swaziland)
You have left out basotho. Many people from outside South Africa always speak of zulus as if they are the only tribe. There are Khoisans, Basotho, Batswana, Bapedi, Tsongas, Vendas and coloureds and whites in South Africa
Lies, we not as divided as America, especially black people. To extend we may disconnect, but south Africans are super close compared to a lot of countries.
U don't know what are you talking about you are not even south Africa and y know nothing about being south Africa....we love one other,we praise one other
You should also check out Hrh Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini from Eswatini also known as Swaziland

ZULU 😍
Xhosa and uTyityimba are pronounced wrongly by the guy in the video. Please look for the correct pronounciation
Well he is not South African. He pronounced a lot of things wrong but he tried. It's the thought that counts.
I don't see the Sotho dance and yet Sotho's are part of South Africans.
Sesotho is even included in the national anthem
That not venda aibo
Correction, south Africans are just as divided and only come together during sports events
Lies, we not as divided as America, especially black people. To extend we may disconnect, but south Africans are super close compared to a lot of countries.
U don't know what are you talking about you are not even south Africa and y know nothing about being south Africa....we love one other,we praise one other
It is your family and your entire generation that is and will remain divided, not Black South Africans.
Well said thank you
Leave that we are Africans
Black Americans come from W/Africa not the South Africa
Remove your face from the screen so we can see the full video
