i play this game way more than i should. best escape ever. i wish i could just walk right into the game and live in that beautiful world. first played this game 4 years ago when my then boyfriend, now husband, gave me it when i was signed off work with depression. i played the whole time and im certain it saved my life. i was in such a bad place until this game.
that's Skyrim for you an escape into another world. My xbox broke about a year ago and I finally stopped playing Skyrim. Admittedly I get alot more of everything done now.
During these hard times, games like Skyrim, Oblivion and Classic World of Warcraft are helping me keep my sanity. I love to listen to music from all these games. When I'm not at work, I'm either reading a book while listening to the music, or playing either of those games. They really help me get my mind off of things.
To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. may peace and calmness fill your life.
This is the perfect music to listen to while working in the office or in the household or while reading a book. I could listen to it day and night. It’s so beautiful.
I am playing Skyrim from the very first day until now on a daily basis - and every time I load the game it feels like coming home. I am forever grateful with Bethesda for this game and Jeremy for his great music. I am 64 years old, and I never loved a game as much as I love Skyrim.
You're not alone. I stopped playing video games for years until I discovered Skyrim. It's the only game I play. I get the same feeling. It's beautiful. Looking forward to the new Elder Scrolls.
Me as well. 53 and my sons got the game and I tried it. Ya, he never got it back. No worries, he brought a new one with his new ps. He bought me the cook book for mother's day last year. So love skyrim
I sometimes just turn off the music while I play Skyrim so I can see how many different birdsongs I can identify and how the sounds vary by region. In Falkreath you hear more blue jays while near Riften you hear more blackbirds.
I'm a birder but have sadly never been to Europe so didn't know what these bird calls were, but will keep an ear out on my next playthrough. I love avian soundscapes :)
If you're reading this I just want you to know that you are a fantastic person. We all get stressed sometimes, and I just hope you remember that there are people that love you. Take care, and stay safe. Lots of love.❤
This makes me want to live a simple life with nature. Simple clothes, a small stone house, a greenhouse to grow plants and another to use as hall, to play and fight with my friends on rainy days. A little bit of land full of trees. The picture is clear. This is what i will do.
I got out of the city, bought a piece of land with a broken house on it, fixed it up. Now I'm homesteading with chickens, wild horses, and garden. Not easy but worth every second of freedom and peace. You can do it, just save money and look for cheap houses or land and make sure to read the county codes.. some require lots of things before you can do anything with the land. Then do it.

this game, when it came out in 2011, is still my number 1 game I play to this day. It helps me escape my 9hr work days of working, business meetings and project work. Just the other day, I was presenting project work to a client and I titled it "Project: Winterhold". Let's just say the purchaser signed the project because he asked me "Imperial or Stormcloak?". For a second, I felt like I was at an Inn talking to a nordic patron. Of course, I said Stormcloak. Project Signed.

Man, this brings memories. I modded the shit out of it and it was the most amazing experience i had. Camping, fishing, ignoring the main quest line for ever. I was a khajiit hunter, trevelling around, hunting game and selling skins, getting drunk, climbing up hills, stealth clearing dungeons. Long live Rhojo the Red! Good memories :)
Hello distant friend, I spent my life on Skyrim as a Dark Elf, sneaking through dungeons and caves clearing them from various monsters and bandits. I was quite a skilled archer. In another life (Skyrim) we would have sat together and shared some ale and stories after exchanging some goods in a beautiful starry night under the mountains. Cheers to the feline wanderer.

There is one reason and one reason only that I enjoy this game so much, and its that I can just walk out into the wilderness an enjoy the world, something many of us are not able to do in real life.
Your Elder Scrolls music and ambience compilations were such a beautiful gift in 2020, and they still are in 2021. Listening to these really helps me focus on my studying, which has been hard to do in these trying times. So, thank you for these. They are just the calm I, and so many other people, need right now. This particular compilation is really beautiful, but my favourite will always be the Elder Scrolls Peaceful Night Sky compilation
There's been numerous great scores for fantasy games. Elder scrolls games though, aren't included in that conversation. They are transcendent works that completely transform your perspective of your life, no more no less. They stand alone in the category: perfection.
I find myself coming back to this from time to time. Even though I dont boot up skyrim anymore I still imagine that my character is retired from adventuring just relaxing in the home he built listening to good music.
I hoarded 100s if not 1000s of items in my house. Organized into chests. Then items loose on the shelves. My 2 kids, a wife and extra follower there. My inentory was super full. Holding anything that weighed nothing and so much more. My character super powerful and geared. Still had quests and undiscovered areas after all that. Oblivion and morrowind I did the same.
I listen to these for two reasons: 1. While studying, it provides great music and helps me focus on my work. 2. It also helps me keep my time while studying. If I step away or take a break, i pause the video to know how much time i've put in today. I usually stick to my 3 hours a day of mandatory study time. Near test time I let it go and keep track. Today I finished the whole video. Started studying around 9 and finished at 10 pm, so 6 consistent hours with breaks and while working. Getting ready for my exams never felt so good
Ah, the Morrowind soundtrack comes on... such a desolate landscape, yet so spiritual. The great difference of listening to Elder Scrolls music compared to other relaxing music, classical or otherwise, is that I like others, played Elder Scrolls for years. And the great happiness and joy, the pure relief of diving into the Elder Scrolls world is evoked by this music.
''Come traveler, come and share Ja'Zhargo's fire. Rest here for a bit with Khajiit before going on with the day. Here, at the warm fire, is where this one clears his mind when the spirits of the Dark Moons invade his mind. You too, are free to linger here in the soothing light. For this is a place of respite''
I started another playthrough on my Switch the other day as an Orc and I love this game so much! To me, it literally never gets old. And keep in mind that I do not have access to mods. Perhaps one day when I get a console I will give the mods a go!
Love playing this, nothing better than coming home from work, opening it up, and taking my Nord across this beautiful realm. Dunno if anyone here has played far cry 4, but Kyrat is absolutely beautiful.
I strongly believe that this game will pass on to posterity as a masterpiece, and among the ones that had it for the first time when it came out in 2011, it represents up to this day over 10 years of happiness and a time out of this world. I know it's just a game, but it will always have an important place in what gave me support while I was young.
Gorgeous nature shots of forest 🌲🌳🌲 landscapes and this calm 🕊 peaceful music 🎵🎶 make me quickly calm down. Thank you 🙏 for this calming and soothing video!

There's been numerous great scores for fantasy games. Elder scrolls games though, aren't included in that conversation.
They are transcendent works that completely transform your perspective of your life, no more no less. They stand alone in the category: perfection.
I love how you can hear the character activating pressing something every once in awhile
Reading while listening
I find myself coming back to this from time to time. Even though I dont boot up skyrim anymore I still imagine that my character is retired from adventuring just relaxing in the home he built listening to good music.
I hoarded 100s if not 1000s of items in my house. Organized into chests. Then items loose on the shelves. My 2 kids, a wife and extra follower there. My inentory was super full. Holding anything that weighed nothing and so much more. My character super powerful and geared. Still had quests and undiscovered areas after all that. Oblivion and morrowind I did the same.
Thank you, just thank you. ❤️
May the gods watch over your back, friend.
I wish my PlayStation fan wasn’t so godamn loud so I could appreciate the wonderful ambience in game
I listen to these for two reasons:
Getting ready for my exams never felt so good
This fills me with so much nostalgia its almost overwhelming at times.
May The spirit of the universe bless this channel..

@@sethcarlow8363 thanks ♥
I don't normally get nostalgic, but "Sunrise of Flutes" from Oblivion hit me like the emotional equivalent of a ton of bricks.
Absolutely spot-on. Same here mate 🙌💯
Elder Scrolls and Skyrim - best Game best Music and best Ambience 👍
It's like another world to immerse yourself in.
The ambiance created by Soule in these stories will never be replicated. An era has ended, as a new one begins.
Finally I found what still has been missing. I can't have enough Skyrim music / landscape compilations 💚 Thank you for this video
My favorites are still so strong !! 🙂🙏🥰🎶🎤🎶🎹🎶🎺🎶🥰👌 Congratulations and thank you very much my friend for this superb compilation. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😊🌹❤
February 5, 2023 I was here. Still amazing as ever love this game and soundtrack. 🍻
I started another playthrough on my Switch the other day as an Orc and I love this game so much! To me, it literally never gets old. And keep in mind that I do not have access to mods. Perhaps one day when I get a console I will give the mods a go!
I'm going to play this at my first DnD session to my party, this is awesome!
There is still many in the realm that will never get a chance to play these games. May the harsh road give to warmer sands, be well traveler.
_It’s 3 hours earlier oh my Eru I can actually stay for the majority of it this is so POG_
Heh heh, oh my Eru.
Yay!
Thought you were more of a Morgoth kind of Maiar.
This game makes me happy. Nostalgic, even though I still play it after all these years.
Oblivion soundtrack is just perfect! 9:53 NOSTALGIC!
Love playing this, nothing better than coming home from work, opening it up, and taking my Nord across this beautiful realm. Dunno if anyone here has played far cry 4, but Kyrat is absolutely beautiful.
First music reminds me about the time I was building the house at first time. It was very pleasant time!
You know when you KNOW a video needs liking before it's every stared 👍
A ghibli video would be the best thing ever!
An ambience on the bbc 2004 North and South mini series would be beautiful!!! It is a lovely soundtrack!
Agreed!! That soundtrack is incredible.
The background music for my life❤❤❤
I know that spot well. This kind of makes me miss Skyrim. That was my goto games for ten years. Thanks for the memories.
We need the elder scrolls 6! I will take 2 weeks pto and never leave the house when it comes out lol. I remember waiting in line st GameStop for the midnight release, can’t wait to do that again!
Jeremy Soule - best game compositor ever!
Great job and compiling all these themes into this one video. I am thoroughly enjoying your effort. :) Got my Bible open, taking notes, and allowing myself to drift off into the heavenlies...
