😂 Last new one was almost 6 years ago (2018), and before that it was 10 years ('07 & '08) Pony express & Sierra Sidewinder. Not sure if you'd consider Pony Express a coaster...
So, new coaster every 10 years? 2027/2028 here we come! It'll be Cedar Fairs' 30th year anniversary of owning Knott's & 2028 Olympics in LA, here's hoping for something big!! 🤞

Hopefully with the merger it’ll be better maintained so it doesn’t break down as often. I wonder how it’ll effect wait times on other rides like ghostrider.
I also hope it isn’t too long until Montezuma’s revenge is back up and running

Seeing ALL of the excitement and enthusiasm from Knotts' under appreciated Thrill Rider enthusiast crowd, was refreshing & heart-warming.
Its nice to see people get excited for more than just "new food items", we want rides, it's been far too long.
I spoke with one of the Knotts managers at Xcelerator, and they agreed that 10 years of focused refurbs (2013-2023) is and has been just a bit too long. Yes we got 1 big new ride during that stretch (2018 Hangtime), but that wasn't enough.
I don't think Cedar Fair knows what they have, as Knott's hasn't reached it FULL potential.
Xcelerator getting reopened definitely takes a little bit of pressure off of Knott's as more and more rides remain closed, with no communication or transparency about the future.
I just wanna know what's going on, honestly, is that too much to ask.
Never been, but I’ve got my daughter on it twice this weekend. Of course, I’m first in line for front row on Sunday and Accele-breaker strikes again.
Riding this on Tuesday was a surreal experience. Super awesome to see the excited Knotts crew get those first few rides on!
I LOVE Knotts at night. Such a beautiful park! I agree a night ride on Ghostrider is the best night ride in Socal!
Love your videos!! Hubby and I are headed back out to Knott's in about 2 1/2 weeks!!! Our first visit ever was back in June. I'm sure we will be making trips to this park 3 or 4 times a year going forward! Out home park is Cedar Point, so a little way to travel but oh so worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Between Xcelerator and Montezooma's Revenge, which of these two would be the most disappointing to lose?
I rode it once yesterday, in the front row around 12:30pm. Afterwards, the lines were crazy long and the single train was paused for a long time.
It’s completely worth it to buy the annual Fastlane if you go more than a couple of times a month to knotts, it makes the park so much more fun, it’s $675 for the year, but so worth it!
It's 999 for ALL cedair fair parks. I hear you tho. I only get fast lanes when I travel far IF NEEDED. Always needed: cedar point.
If you're smart and pick your days/time carefully you won't need:
carrowinds, kings island, kings dominion. Walk on, on everythjng. Knotts does get crowded but I'm a local...

@@tahjo7 There's a fair amount of space back there. I never thought it was realistic for Knott's to get a Giga but a good dark ride in that building would be cool. As far a coasters I always thought doing smaller stuff like a Hyper GTX or bringing back the Soap Box Derby Racers would be a better idea.

I wish they would remove that lower bar on the Coast Rider. Painful, and not found on most other mousetrap coasters.
It's currently closed for repairs. Won't open until November 17. I read somewhere that the shin bars are being removed finally, along with other adjustments
@@JakeWolf2408 Really?? I hope not. The restraints are so bad thats the ONLY reason i actually ride it. Its so fun to pull it down as tight as possible and try not to scream in pain around the corners. If they remove the restraints it will just be a boring wild mouse.
Since silver bullet shut down for refurbishment, now ghost town is quiet.
